So did my rounds on Soi 6. Approached 4 different girls on Soi 6, 4 different bars. All 4 quoted 2000 plus 400, drink not required. I did not accept or even counter offer. Just said nope and walked away. Stepped into a bar to cool off. I've taken 3 girls from this bar at a range 1000-1200 plus 400 and 1 drink, on previous trips. Two of them were working. Saw a new one. She approached me first and did the "you want lady" and pointed at the other girls. She was not my waitress. By now, if you don't what that cue means, then figure to out of your own. I told her I just want to boom boom and how much. She said for her 2000 and 400, just like the other 4 girls. I didn't even say anything about "Before I got her for yada yada yada. " I just took out 1200 from my wallet and pointed at the section where all the girls sit when they cat call the guys walking. None of the girls wanted to take the 1200 offer. That's crazy. Some average, fresh out of Eassan looking girl did tell another girl to tell me in English 1500 plus 400. I just paid my bill and walked away. But to see, she was 1000 quality. Throw in the room and it goes to 1900. Nope, no way. Don't feel to sorry for me. I have my private list and table of girls for 1500-2000. That was my fall back plan anyways. Maybe I am just to picky, But I see no value in paying 2400 baht for a Soi 6 girl. Remember guys, ask how much for boom boom first before even buying 1 drink for ANY Soi 6 girl. And you can forget the first few bars on the right hand side as you walk in. They play so much drinking games there. Maybe we need another lock down to put these Thai girls back in their place.

Maybe high season pricing is kicking in?

I was in Pattaya in early October and was quoted 1 k by many Soi 6 ladies. Funny enough, I didn't take any, I just like making the walk down the soi.

Phuket is more expensive than Pattaya, and has less women.

True, but Patong, Phuket, has enough women. Other parts of Phuket are beautiful, but some don't have enough P4P women. A massive portion of Pattaya is red light district.

Rent a decent 3. 5 to 4 star hotel near Walking Street or LK Metro so you can bring all your Go Go & Bar girl pick ups back to your room and none of your straight business associates will know or care.

How do you know he is not Indian? And why would you avoid them because they focus on Indians? My experience is that they focus on whoever walks through the door. I would not say they focus on Indians, more that Indian guys are mostly the ones that go there.

Half of my "dates" are no-Shows, no messages saying they aren't coming, which usually means they got a customer. Another sign of High Season approaching.

Many bars have short time rooms, same as 15 years ago.

Beach Road girls use nearby Short Time hotels.

Soapys focus on indians these days so would avoid them. Just book Travelodge (soi15) for 1 K THB and you got your own "Extra" hotel? A lot easier than a ST hotel?

Phuket is more expensive than Pattaya, and has less women.

Nicer overall though but I'm biased having 1st gone to both in 1986 where one was a brothel on a shoddy beach and still is, albeit larger, and the other was a lovely holiday resort, brothel on many beaches.

YMMV.

I prefer Pattaya now, then no way.
