Bluebird to where you want to go, and skip the walking. Walking sucks. It's hot and humid outside, and it's rainy season now. Mosquitos are fucking out of control. Half the streets are flooded with monsoon like rain and overflowed sewer lines. The sidewalk is typically uneven slabs of concrete covering the open air sewer trough. A typical walk gets you covered in sweat, bitten by mosquitos, and a couple of twisted ankles.

This little apocalyptic scene is your beloved train tracks. As OS took the photo one of them scurried up the embankment holding a chair and out through the hole in the wall. Like a rat with a nut.
There's nothing to cry about here folks, It was a disgusting dump but my god were there some hotties to be found.
RIP Gang Royal Gedong.

It feels different in Jakarta compared to most place in Thailand. Seems st are much more common. So any good options for morning and early afternoon action? Only massage parlor? Any place recommend?

Kelapa Gading is very far. New Medika is one huge traffic jam and far the other way. CJ's and BATS is fairly far yet another direction. Ruko Robinson is far in yet another direction. In other words, if you want to hit different places you're going to end up riding taxis and sometimes for extended periods. However, some of these bars are located inside hotels or have hotels nearby.
