Hey guys I have a quick question about hotels. I have a couple nights booked for a trip at the slightly more upscale hotels in Makati. Peninsula and Dusit Thani (not my doing as I prefer Airbnb). Is it OK to bring back bar girls from Burgos st. Or do you think the staff might kick up a stink? I've been a regular in Pattaya in recent years and nobody seems to care at all but Makati might be different?

Stay at city garden grand in Makati and you can bring in an orangutan and they won't say shit. Hell, they might compliment you in your taste in female apes after seeing all the Burgos street girls the nights before.

Went in Lips over the weekend, got chatting with one of mamasans. They now have 120 girls on the roster, there were 80 on the premises Saturday night.

Muttley81's bangability ratio remained above 95%, and I'm very picky, just maybe not as picky as some of recent moaners about no quality girls being available.

If you think 95% of the girls at lips are hot than you have serious yellow fever or you're blind.

Lips continued to be on good form last night, quite a few new girls in, including some very attractive 18 year olds. The baby-mamasan gave excellent fire show with proper fire breathing included, could feel the heat from the back row of seating so must have been very hot for those up front. Another of shows had a bit of topless action, and I generally like all the dance shows in there as they are all a bit different. Main mamsan repeatedly says best dancer is the worst fuck, which is a shame as she looks amazing. *.

O'Reilly's remains roughly same as last time, slight improvement on some of girls inside but its still not the best. Temperature of beers has been vastly bettered and SML was super cold. Just how I like it. *.

Marquee was also good fun. A couple was in there and they were both utilising what was on offer from one of girls who was in a white see-through top. A lot of lesbianism, and a lot of nudity from both girls. Whats not to like?*.

Maison has been remodeled since I last went in a few weeks ago, the stage has been extended and there is a lot of new seating at low level sofas rather than the raised tables and chairs. It is a definite improvement, dancing shows from girls were much improved with additional stage area and with seats being closer to the action felt people were having a better time, a lot more giggling going on. Some new girls were in here also, I think my favourite is gone though as not seen her for a couple of months, always 'Not working tonight sir". *.

Finally went in Club One, where unfortunately my night ended early. When I walked in lasers hit me right in eyes, sat down and had a drink but combination of all lasers and lights sent me a bit funny. Although I'm not epileptic I honestly felt like I was going to have a fit, so I departed and went home. *.

Still, had a good night. A lot of girls in all bars, should be something for every taste from 35 kg spinners to some larger ladies for those inclined that way. *.

As usual WC, you are 100 percent correct. I watched the video and immediately noticed that it was an AI voice and additionally the content was a waste of my time. That being said. I do enjoy watching certain vloggers. Those of us that are tied down to a job in a faraway land, who have a few drinks in the evening, enjoy watching the escapades and day-to-day life of the expat who lives there. Welcome. I plan to hit a few other vloggers. The idea that newbs would be relying on these vids leads to wrong info and judgements (over-arching generalizations) gives wrong impressions about the country, leading to newb disappointments. If some vlogger says he got a Burgos SW for p1000 LT last week (possibly true), who knows how many newbs see that and then think they can get Filipinas anywhere in the country for p1000. When that doesn't happen and they are disappointed, they become disillusioned and write negative reviews.

A forgotten art form especially in the Thailand threads. Now I know that I have to ask up front with every girl if they do FS before I spend a cent on any drink for them. This guy shows you the Makati / BGC party lifestyle in all its glory. Probably how I'd live my life if / when I retire there. Although I'm heading back at 2 am for sex and sleep. This dude and his girls stay out until the sun comes up.

This Russian dude can barely speak English and is wife is maybe the skinniest chick ever (would do her in a heartbeat). And he's not afraid to film walking street at night (YouTube won't let you monetize that). His videos will give you a very clear idea of what to expect if you visit AC.

This guy is genuinely a fairly smart cool dude who went there on a whim and found a girlfriend who also seems way smarter and down to earth than your average AC bargirl. He does a variety of content which I do enjoy watching.

I said that I'd return to this topic, and here we are. These youtube vloggers. I have many thoughts. I rarely watch them (as I live here, and don't need advice, kinda seem to have something on the order of a well-oiled machine, much as described by FG recently in his description of his upcoming retirement plan). Usually when I do watch them, is when someone on the Board here brings the receipts and shows a link, or mentions a vlogger by username and I check it out.

Regarding this particular video, and the vlogger's account on YT: Chet's Stories (330 subscribers). Its a 5-minute vid (thank God, most of these vids are 10-25 minutes). In this particular case, the story on this video is about a newb American who comes to Phils, meets Chet by chance in a mall, asks Chet for help as the newb seems completely helpless, Chet condescendingly takes the newb under his wing for a night to help him out and show him the way, shows the newb around P Burgos, then in reality does NOT help the newb much, leaves the newb to the Burgos gogo bar girl sharks, and the newb gets ripped off for hundreds of $ (because Chet was not there to save the newb -- because Chet ran off and left the Newb with the gogo sharks after leading the newb to the gogo sharks).

Worse, just 30 seconds into this video I realized that something is off about this. The vid does not pass the sniff test. First clue: Chet's voice is not a real person, its an AI voice (there is captioning on the bottom of the screen, and some of the words are phonetically mis-spelled). Someone correct me if I am wrong. In fact, upon checking, other of Chet's videos are the same AI voice. The voice is translated from a typed script (which Chet provides, see below). The video is not Chet walking around with a cam on a selfie stick, chatting folk on the street. There is no street audio. The vid is someone walking Burgos with a camera, the cam audio has been completely muted, and the AI voice simply talks the entire time. We don't get to see Chet, nor the newb (Tommie, who, I believe, might not exist).

Second, the story seems to be contrived. I believe it an amalgam of every newb mistake ever made. The newb seems to have not bothered to read anything on the Internet about Phils, falls out of the "Newb-Idiot" tree, and hits every branch on the way down. He couldn't have been any dumber. There's even a bit in the video of Chet showing the newb to a Burgos bar where, downstairs, the girls are not GRO; they are sweet, and shower Chet and the newb with nothing but love. Then the newb decides to go upstairs to the GRO place, and Chet warns him of the dangers of the gogo bar girls. The newb goes upstairs to the GRO, and Chet leaves the newb to his own devices. The newb gets ripped off for hundreds of dollars (buying rounds of drinks for 10 GRO at a time). I ask: Where on Burgos is such an upstairs / downstairs place, with nice non-gogo ladies downstairs, and with gogo girls upstairs? The only upstairs places with GRO are Lollipop (downstairs is Nautica, with GRO) and Lips (downstairs are also GRO), and Blue Parrot has GRO upstairs and down.

While the basic storyline of newbs make mistakes (just look at my mistakes) is true, few people are as uninformed when they arrive as the newb described in this vid. Chet seems too altruistic and helpful. The voice is fake. The story is from a script (the script is literally pasted under the video on YT). But, feel free to watch it for yourself, and then share and tell me that I missed it completely.

I mention this because newbs watch these videos before they come, as they are hungry for local info on getting laid. If they believe vids like this, its easy to get scared off from Burgos or get the wrong impression of gogo bars. It gives the impression that you need to see this kind of video (and maybe others from Chet) in order to survive, when in fact this is not helpful. I plan to summarize and show some hypocrisy from some of these vloggers soon. Other's opinions on these kinds of vids are invited.

Here is a portion of the scripted story:

Tommy was recently retired, had stockpiled a bunch of cash and was considering the Philippines as a place to live. Of course, he wanted to meet girls. "You could swing a cat and hit an available girl here," I said. We talked for a couple of hours and quickly became friends.

You'the probably have faced same problem in Bangkok, girls aren't that different, unless you found one of black girls on street, or Russian girl in a club, more to your taste.

Last time I checked, BKK is in Thailand and Thai girls are mostly Asian. The odds of finding a dead white supermodel there is about the same as a phat assed Brazilian in Manila but good luck anyway.
