I just got back from a stay in Rio. While staying at the Pestana on Copacabana, they were charging me are $220 for each guest that I brought back to my room. They also tried to sneak in a "donation" to one of their charities onto my minibar bill. I would NOT recommend staying at the Pestana due to the high guest fees and their shady tactics of padding your bill.

Has anybody had any luck with getting 1 chica to their room in a hotel that only allows guest in common areas? I booked a hotel as part of a group trip but would like to sneak mongering in. Annoyingly this hotel doesn't allow guest but I wonder if I can get around it. If not are their any suggestions in copacabana area that I can book for a night, so I can have some fun. Much appreciated as always.

Posts: 1Apartment or hotel room just for bringing girls in zona sul
Hey,
I will staying with my business partner in his big apartment where he stays with his wife (we are building a business together), its good but I can't bring girls there so I want a small studio apartment or room near leme just for taking girls stress-free.
Any advice how to find something?
I would pay monthly, it doesn't have to be fancy, but near zona sul and absolutely girl-friendly, meaning I can take multiple girls and they don't charge extra or deny entry.

Hope you had a wonderful trip and looking forward for the update on your experience as we just booked a 3 bedroom decent airbnb in copa area. After filtering thru lot of messages this one seems to be bit flexible on guest policy (atleast that's what the owner said before booking) not sure what will happen after we check in.
I also came across a jazuzi (outdoor) in patio penthosue in booking.com but some how did not pulled the trigger as only two reviews that too they seems to be paid ones.

Maybe I'm better off taking bus from airport to closest metro train station Vicente de Carvalho is it then subwaying it down to Centro Cariaca station? Mini-bus? Taxi how to identify honest ones? Uber unsure about wifi at airport where to catch? My arrival 8:30-9 am Thanks.

Stayed in the buildings, back-to-back duplo sessions all afternoon until 6 pm.
Yup, six showers in an afternoon gets damn old, and more freakin showers at night, in termas. Ten showers in 24 hours.
I Uber back to Novotel for a power nap from 6. 30 p to until 9 p. Then off to Termas 4 x4 Whiskeria 65, until 3 am. At night I had a slim chance of getting an Uber for only a $7 reais ride to the hotel. The drivers canceled multiple times. So I grabbed a taxi out front and told the guy to turn on the meter. Seven minutes and $8 reais later arrive to crash drunk from exhaustion in a comfy bed until 10 am the next morning, rinse and repeat until flying out SDU to CGH in the afternoon.
DonCarlos.
Good advice was given on the board about airports and airlines, going with flexibility and multiple hourly flights. I went, SP to Rio round trip CGH to SDU a number of times. Think it was Latam. Automatic boarding pass went directly to security and gates. Crowded like heck plane side. Wifi available. The best thing I did was select a fare to change a half dozen times at no extra cost. I changed airports, changed flight times at least ten times. Not all my fault, two hot garotas doing a duplo were on their knees sloppy sharing the knob, BBBJDT slobbering away, snowballing CIM, why heck rush to the fracking airport, took later and later flights. Haha.
The crowded lines boarding the bus to the plane are a pain in the rear. Much better when the cheap airlines pay for gate and jetway access. It was miserable dark, cold raining, boarding the plane late at night in bad weather. Sunny daytime was better the.

As for giving guards a 'booklet', why complicate things? Befriend them, tell them to check girl's IDs, but for your own protection. Going to cost you just a few beers and lunches if that.
When they don't want you to bring girls, you'll know. No one is shy over there. A few years ago I saw an awesome duplex in Salvador on Airbnb, but the language explicitly said no guests and no prostitution. I contacted the owner (because I fell in love with the pictures) and told her I had male and female friends in Salvador and wanted to entertain them at the pool. She explained that there was a male neighbor leaving on the upper floor overlooking the terrace and the pool and when people started fooling around in the pool, the asshole would call her manager and complain. So I assured her that we'd be very discreet (and kept the promise). Other than that, the building didn't even have a security -- we could bring a dozen of girls and no one would stop us, LOL.
The other time, I saw a listing for a great apartment in Arpoador, and it contained the similar language. I contacted the owner, and she said no visitors under any circumstances. She was polite, but that was a no.

I was actually thinking about buying the guards a separate little booklet to take down guests' information. If they ever got in a pinch, transfer it into the real visitor log and throw me under the bus. Anyone ever done something like that? I don't think we'll have to worry about anything, but maybe on a future trip. It would be good to share some tricks of the trade.
