Viewers would easily assume she is a country girl, seduced, impregnated then dumped and left to work hard the rest of her life to raise her bastard children, like many young girls in many under-developed countries with no family protection laws who turn to prostitution to survive. Instead of making money the easy in prostitution with her good looks and charming manners, she selects the moral, hard working life. Viewers admire her for her morals and courage.

She achieves international appreciation for the life of hard working people of Thailand. But how much of her stories are real and not staged or promoted by Vloggers for a pro actress? She definitely has helps in make up and costumes. She sure show a lot of skin on the street than average women. Well it depends, some of us are quite discriminating when it comes to looks. Unfortunately there is an inverse relationship between looks and performance for the most part. And it didn't have the same festive atmosphere Thermae had. And when it closed and they started coming to Thermae they were mainly in the back section and that's where the gals that were exclusive to them hung out. Even as early as 2002 there were gals that would not go with farang guys.

And when I mentioned demographics, there are many and various demographics in play now in the Thailand P4 P scene so I'm not just referring to Japanese and Koreans.

The past few times I've been in Thermae I've been less than impressed overall and I can say the same about go go bars, especially at the insane price they're asking. Fiwfans works mighty well for me and I can avoid lower Sukhumvit which I just don't find that appealing these days.

It's not out Canada and those of us who live here have a completely different agenda than those visiting. The Zone, for the most part, doesn't serve our purposes very well.

I too have never had any negative experiences with Thermae girls or escorts / freelancers in general in Bangkok. I am white, European, over 50, balding and slightly (in my dreams) overweight. I find just a bit of common courtesy, decency and respect goes a long way. Girls suss you out quickly and I find while a lot can be a bit wary at first, we generally end up having a good laugh and chat at the end and they are more than happy to give me their line number for any future 'business' I'd like to give them.

However, serious question, do you guys which more experience (long term local knowledge) think a lot of this 'anti Farang' thing comes from a simple case of the language barrier, in that it's easier a lot of the time for local girls to deal with Asian guys? Or am I simplifying the issue too much?

I don't know why but when I first visited Thailand I mistakenly thought most young Thai's in particular (say under 25 or 30) would have a better standard of English, on reflection I don't know why I assumed that and it's down to my own ignorance. But I still find myself going up to people in restaurants, shops (bars, and clubs) and break into English assuming they'll understand me without even realising I am doing it. Also I find many girls with a basic grasp of English want to communicate but a lot gets lost in translation which can make things awkward and it's so important that we 'Farangs' cop onto that and manage the situation carefully to respect the girls and make sure they always feel comfortable around us.
