Guys on here will say that those of us who support the bars are stupid. Actually, we are far from stupid. Yes we support the bars, but our intention is not to support the bars in a sense. Our intention is just to have a good time drinking with the ladies in the Pattaya bars and then after we are done, we go to smash them. Thats it. If one bar closes, we will do the same in others bars. In that sense, there is nothing wrong with that. We can choose how to spend our money just like the CC can as well.

What ticks me off are the guys that think that we ruin it for them or the Asians ruin it for them. That may be true, but those CC make their own choices and that puts them into a category where only certain types of Thai girls will be with them. So be it.

I try my best to always wear shorts / pants and / or a shirt with zippers no matter where I travel. Makes me much less susceptible to pickpockets. I only carry my room key, a credit card I set with only a $500 limit, and the cash I will spend that night. Then I spread it out over many different pockets. The only wallet I may carry is a fake one to throw off pickpockets. For those who wear pants, you can also keep money in your socks. I don't but I know guys who do.

For me in Pattaya, I just don't use the public transport system. Simple. Bolt taxis and motorcycle taxis if during rush hour. I know the Baht bus is only 10 baht but I would rather spend 50-150 baht on a bolt taxi or motorcycle to take myself out of situations where I may be robbed.

It was only after I had got off the bus and a few minutes later that I noticed my wallet was gone (with 10 thousand baht). I was really annoyed with myself, I thought that would never happen to me.

We agree. I do support the bars ina big way but I am a decent drinker most of the time and like to socialize with the girls at different bars. Mainly Soi 6 establishmkents and when they are too meh IO walk across to the Queen Victoria for a Guinness.

Well that part does not matter. The point I was trying to make was that all girls will bar fine that work in the bars in Pattaya, they don't only work for drinks. They all go, they just may not go with "you". "You" meaning the farang. Or "You" meaning the guy who does not pay enough. Or " You" meaning the guy that has a shopping list of sexual demands. Or "You" meaning the guy who talks too much. Or "You" meaning the guy dressed in flip flops, an un ironed shirt, with uncombed hair, and smelling like BO.

Asians such as the Koreans, Japanese, and even the Chinese believe it or not, when it comes to paying for pussy, are very easy going. They don't ask too many questions, they don't negotiate and just pay what the girl asks, they dress nice, and they just go with the flow.

So, who do you think the girls would prefer to go with? Think about it the next time you see a bar girl avoid you for an Asian dude and think about this when you get refused because she tells you she only works for drinks.

It's not smart to carry your wallet in your pocket. I use a sachel that I keep my phone and wallet in and it always stays around my neck and in front of me.

Why carry a wallet in Pattaya?

I leave my important credit cards, wallet and driver's license in my condo safe, and go out with cash in my pockets, along with a Thai bank card, and cell phone. Not too much cash, BTW.

Large bar in TT next to the Gold Moon Bar, picked up a lady I have seen on TF. Quite pretty for an older lady (I am older anyway). Wee tiny spinner sub 5', sub 95 lbs yada yada yada. She works as a cook and does some occasional bar hopping FL. Says she is 33, closer to 40 I'd say (who knows). I had zero intention of going via Tree Town but decided to get onto some different scenes from my usual. Most bars were dead, but some including this one and Gold Moon etc were hopping with mainly an OVER 50's crowd. Wooo hoooo, granny city.

Anyway, I went and got a nice CHEAP 60 Baht beer and virtually fell into Tiny. Bought her a drink, good value at sub 100 Baht. Chat chat. Blah blah.
