I've read through the last ten pages of the forum, including the nine pages discussing why Sosua is better, as good as, or worse than other places (LOL). I made my first trip to Cartagena earlier this year and read similar content. All I will say is that if you put me in a town full of girls who want to work for under $100 I will manage to have a good time.

Answer: yes, at 100 usd, you can get an hour with a decent chick. Street girls are often ghetto with tats, and might take 3000 p (55 usd).

I haven't been able to find any good advice on accommodations. I don't need five star luxury but I would like to stay in a nice hotel or resort environment. At my age I can't do a second-rate bed. Are most places guest-friendly? Am I going to have an issue bringing girls back? I'm not going to run through a dozen in 3-4 days, but I don't want any issues.

Answer: stay near New Garden, or Terra Linda. It is close to restaurants and has free breakfast. Many girls around, restaurants and short walk to the beach.

I would also welcome any info on the weather. Looks like I can expect a high in the low 80's, but I have found Caribbean forecasts to be either wrong or not indicative of how the weather feels. Are the next few weeks likely to be good for beach, boating, snorkeling, etc? I can be temporarily monogamous if I meet a girl I like. Thoughts on taking her out for touristy stuff? Cruise, water activities? Seems to be common in Cartagena. Seems like eating well won't be a problem.

Answer: yes, beach is good all winter. Go on Tinder, there are girls looking for a BF, and might accept a weekend boyfriend as long as you are paying for everything. She might go on cruise etc.

I do like the thrill of the chase, so if I end up with a daily hook-up or whatever that would be fine, but not my preference.

Answer: few GF-material girls are in bars. Try Tinder. Girls in bars etc are to be working girls and they are often ghetto, you won't want to make them weekend GFs. Few store workers / waitresses etc will be free to date you. Be sure to talk money up front with a weekend GF so there is no drama at the end of the date / weekend.

After 6 nights in POP and Sosua, I am definately a little dissappointed. Girls on the street are ghetto. So all in all, the reasons mongers go to such countries is largely gone in sosua. I might start looking at Columbia.

This is your fault did you read the reports I and others have told you girls there are trash and the only guys that go have low standard or have other reasons for visiting. Did you think we were lying there are hundreds of videos on youtube showing what's in town did you think the dimes were hiding. Dudes told you the chicks are over priced were we making that up to. You just didn't listen.

In Sosua there is no need to rent a car. It is a very small town. Driving in SD is a night mare did it once will not again. I like to keep a low profile. Having an accident has the potential to ruin your fun big time. Pussy is every where in Sosua. Most girls try to give you what you want. Learn a little Spanish and communicate with the ladies you will be amazed at how much fun you can have. I am deep in my 60's no tats and ladies treat me like a rock star. Tinder for me would be like taking sand to the beach in Sosua.

I've driven all the way from Canada down to Jaco, Costa Rica. So yeah, I've had my fair share of experience in third world conditions. I even drove down in East Africa too,

If that is the case then I would definitely rent a car. DR has much less traffic than those places (especially between Sosua and Puerto Plata. It is just a country road. You only need to watch out for the motorcycles doing whatever they want. I did not rent a car my first four times in the DR, but the over 100 times since, I can not see myself not having access to one.

Tinders are good to keep the excitement, anxiety going til you get to Sosua. Once you get there you just won't find a need to waste your time with them. The only tinder girl I hit actually was in Rumba, few was on the streets and I declined, and some was in playa chiquita the casino. There is used for them though. But honestly and I got this from old kool. Theres enough on the ground to make you say why bother. Now for sure, you will make a few bad calls, maybe your fault of dick choice and may not be. Simply just a bad apple. I had the four best blow jobs of my life though and actually have my ass thinking about returning.

Hearing shit like this makes me super paranoid about bringing a girl back to my room. I have so many hot chicks on my tinder. I did not go to the casino etc looking for the higher quality girls out on the town, but I expect them to be 100 usd or more and are probably the same girls as on Tinder. So I suspect only the long term visitors who make connections are getting the girls with good attitudes etc at a decent price. If you are a vacationer, and want cheaper girls of ok quality, go to Black beards in POP.

Finally, there isn't much of a nightclub scene near kings / the jolly roger area of town. The days of Rhumba's is over. Dissapointing. And restaurants in that area are very close to American prices.

How did you have any luck finding providers on Tinder? All the ones I saw are looking for legit dates.

When you ate at that steak house last week did the manager come to your table and say by the way sir, yours is free? You know your problem is a situation that I've been trying to articulate on here for awhile now. You see down there you can do every thing logically correct (I. E. Me personally when a honey acts like that, at that point your whole objective is to get rid of her quick fast and in a hurry so I'll give her the 6000 pesos. BUT before I do, I tell her I'll give her the money once she is out at the gate AND infront of the security where I'll give the money to security for him to count 1st before he gives it to her and then he'll officially escort her trifling ass off property. If you want to be proper, afterwards you should thank the security guard and tip him 500 pesos afterwards. Trust me that small gesture in showing your appreciation to the securidad can go along way in the future.

Now if she doesn't act bat shit crazy and erratic then you can have a longer mature negotiation where everybody can get what they want. She may get her asking price at the moment BUT you will get your asking price later down the road if you choose to deal with her later. See in western society you can start high but once you go low with a price you can never go back up. Well down there price is relative to that moment. I REPEAT price is relative to that moment. Meaning there is NO price structure. I have paid a female 4500 peso the 1st time and then the next time I had to go UP in price and pay 6000 pesos. But after a couple times together and her making 12000 pesos total in 2 days she was with me, I let it be known if she wants to meet up with me again in the future price from here on out is getting slashed in half to 3000 pesos with her still giving me the same type of service. And she readily accepted it.

You see part of the reason why she accepted it was because we established a good rapport with each other and by me initially paying more upfront she was able to handle her immediate money situation on her home front (kids, family etc) as afterwards she felt a little stabilized at the moment with her back not being up against the wall. See down there they live in the moment. You are dealing with females that are dealing with total extremes of life at every moment. They can literally go from living in a hot ass sauna barrio apartment with barely running water, no ac and not a dime to their name to 💥BOOM💥 I'm now with a gringo in a nice hotel with jacuzzi, with basic necessitites being met like water, food, electricity readily available and a potiential to make some money but with her understanding that she'll have to go back to barrio soon, so yeah In her mind tomorrow is NOT promise so they need that cash. She knows yall haven't discuss price but 3000 pesos at the moment isn't good enough and after sizing you up and your spot she knows you can give more. So when that carribean madness happen judge them in how they act when dealing with money. So next time when you come across a sweet GFE pretender, If she's not acting to loco tell her can I give you 4000 pesos instead with your true intentions giving her 5000 pesos because most likely she will counter the 4000 pesos. The girl I paid more for didn't act a fool or cause me any problems as she was like, Mi amor, I like you but I need more money for my services. And because she fucked the dog shit out of me from sundown to sun up with no issues I agreed to her terms.

And that's my recommendation when dealing with new honeys that come your way. Measure her how she reacts when it comes time to the money situation. For safety ANY females you meet directly in Sosua I would definitely ask for her price upfront and have her text it to you if possible. The grey area that you were at was when you were doing that computer love. Did she know that you were in Sosua and did she meet you there? Because if that was the case as soon as you said Sosua or her coming to sosua she's automatically thinking $100 dollars in her mind even though she was pretending to be a nice sweet girl. Sosua has a huge stigma so be aware when talking to hunnies online.

In any case I'm glad things didn't get to crazy as things can go from bad to worse real quick if you're not careful. Paying her the 6000 peso to get her away from you is the cost of fantasy island. Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you. But down there, a peace of mind with that nutjub being FAR away from your personal space is priceless.

I made a rookie mistake and learned a good lesson. I wrote a tinder girl who was looking for friends / relationship.
