You're seeing Nokia dumb phones in bars. I say you're going to the wrong bars. I can't recall the last Filipina I spoke to (in a bar or elsewhere) who didn't have a smart phone or access to one. My target market has always been 18-23 (maybe 24) yo and there are far more of them available online than in any walking street or perimeter bar at any given point of any day by a factor of 1 to 10,000 on the conservative side.

Yes but there are so few bars which are fun anymore. Girls in full length evening gowns sitting on stage and playing with their phones is not my idea of a party. You can still party in bars without paying the barfine. There are also other places to drink, party, barhop and pickup freelancers if need be. HiSo may be gone (RIP), but there are plenty of new and old pretenders in its place filled with freelancers and civilian girls galore that are available to anyone with even the tiniest speck of rizz and a bit of cash in hand (obviously just don't lead with the cash LOL). Plenty of rooftop decks like aqua, La Grande, CPT, kandi etc also filled with freelancers (although many times they're already with their customers for the night).

If she's a runner, I'll just go back out later and get a second girl. In Thailand, if I went back to the same bar and I snubbed her and picked someone else, the girl would be mortified in front of her bar girl friends. Here they would probably tag me as a sucker. At least the 10 k total for two bar fines would be the same as one bar fine in Makati. JFC. $100 for one pop in AC. Not what I expected.

Or better still, don't barfine at all. The same girls are on PL and FB anyway and will be available for half the barfine for LT. Or if you do decide to barfine, always expect ST regardless of what the girl promises in the bar.

Freelance girls, with the pay after model, will almost always keep to their LT arrangement.

When I was last in AC in 2007 my LTs all ended with the girl leaving my room in day light, sometimes even close to noon.

I'm hoping at least you didn't tip the runner. Some guys here complain about runners and then say they paid a 1000 P tip. If a girl runs she gets zero, zip, nada. Not even 100 P trike money. 5000 P (100 USD, 3500 B, 1. 5 M IDR) is exorbitant even for LT, let alone ST. In Thailand you get much hotter girls for less and don't even get me started about Indonesia. AC has had its time and the time has passed. Very average looking single moms for $100 USD per pop even with guaranteed BBFS is too much.

Agree with EA / FG. An alternative is that you can out them here (name the bar, the girl, and / or mama), but if you do they will know who you are (most likely) and remember you if you go back in. There's really little downside in that, just that you'd probably be 86'd from that place.

Your experience is not 'normal' but it's not unheard of. You have to understand, that part of the draw of PH is it's fairly lawless. Hell, if I did to girls in US bars what I did every single night in AC I'd be handcuffed and carted away. That's part of the draw. With lawlessness occasionally come experiences like yours. Your dissatisfaction means nothing to the bar compared to chastising a beautiful high earner. Are you going to tell the police? Prostitution is illegal in The Philippines. Chalk it up to experience, understand that it may happen again, and move on. So you didn't cum in the morning. You'll be ok. On to the next. There are so many.

It is in the new AC. Back in the day the girl would have never done this. All barfines were LT and if you had an issue the bar and mama-san would refund you or change girls. Now the girls are more interdependent contractors than employees and there are too many bars and too few girls. And even fewer decent looking girls. This is the downside of the pay upfront model in AC. Runners have become a common thing. AC is overpriced and the girls don't even look that good. There are better places to go. I used to love it and been there dozens of times over the last 20 years but I don't think I will go back.
