I never noticed any third gender people but many of the masseuses would be eligible for old age pension soon.

    Soi 80

A fun night in Soi 80. Dozens of bars with happy ladies looking to take good care of you. Most are a bit older but not all. Some bars are openly selling and smoking joints and that brings me back in time.

    Bangkok train to HH

From which station in Bangkok please? And you suggest advance booking?

They offer second class and 1st class and the latter was sold out though he said 1st is more comfortable. The price is 330 bt and 880 bt respectively for the service categories.

Yes, there still is an ordinary or normal train that takes 5 plus hours at a cheaper cost.

So far, it appears there is no renewed ferry service to Pattaya as the pier does not meet Thai regulatory standards, amongst other issues.

I stayed near the new train station on my last visit to Hua HIm. I was amazed at the number of trains going through Hua Hin. So lots of options.

The real problem for people in Pattaya is the long time to get to Bang Sue.

I usually get a cab from Bangkok to Hua Hin and then another to Pattaya. Used to take the ferry. Have you heard anything about that service coming back.

The cabs are ok. But the ferry was heaps quicker.

    Thanks Mate.
The ferry is done and the pier is ok for fishing. I like to use the airport bus as it is non stop and comfortable. You could take the bus to Suvanabhumi airport and then take the next bus to Pattaya or vice versa.

    Leewaddee special massage

Has anyone tried the new Lewadddee soapy massage. The building is supposed to be renovated and nice inside instead of the old worn out place it used to be.

It arrives at the new HuaHin Station, which was built to accommodate this train and is adjacent to the old and classic Thai train station and also within walking distance to the center of the city. I believe the fare one way is about 300 bt. You can also find a few videos in YouTube about travelers experience riding this train.

    Hua Hin for New Years

Arrived in Hua Hin on December 30th and stayed for a week. New Years on Soi Bentabaht was crazy, busiest I have ever seen it. But just a couple of days past New Years and it was back to normal. A few more bars have opened since my last visit a year ago. Also there were a few more young cuties working in the bars. They seem to be there just for show though. The couple of bars I was in the young cute ones were not actively pursuing customers like the seasoned pros were. Maybe just shy. Spent one night on Soi 80. Very quiet. The bar I was in had one young cutie and one fatty beside the owner. I was already with someone so didn't get to find out if the cutie was just for show there too. The asking price is still the same at 2000 Baht, but negotiable. I thought the overall quality was slightly better than last year.

    Fun massage on soi Dechanuchit

I had fun walk around the massage shops towards the end of Poonsuk road. A little early, so I was the first customer. About noon there are a dozen or more aunties and grannies soliciting trade. They are fun to joke with as you pass by but no one caught my eye. I turned up Dechanuchit road and two ladies sitting out front of the shop looked interesting. Both were dressed nicely and well made up, So I chose Mickey. She was a slim, hard body with no children so she surprised me when she told me that she was 42 years old. Willing and kind, she gave me a very nice BBJ as well as a massage. The shop cost was 300 baht and Mickey's tip was 1000. She was the best that I found and I will repeat. The store is next to a jewelry shop near Tuk's tours.
