Posts: 248All Zona Norte Hotel Options
Thought it might be a good idea to create a post / discussion of all the hotel options within Zona Norte.

2. Hotel Rizo de Orzo, Tropical Bar, $85 weekdays & $110 weekends.
3. Chicago Club Group Hotels. Hotel Jalos, Chicago Club and Hotel Garcia and Hotel La Carreta. Prices unknown.

Posts: 1173Did you guys read about this kidnapping in Tulum. Someone tells police they see a taxi kidnap a guy. The Mexican police and army do a search and find him in a remote jungle and then when the guy says take the duct tape off his eyes and feet, the police tell him to wait until the prosecutors get here to take it off. Huh. Maybe you guys can explain.

Yadiras mentioned below by others was closed night and day and only opened on Wed after 8 PM. Was cold as hell there too. No music, just us and no one else. We played one game and left. We went to Ricardo's next door, the grand slam we ate there was excellent.
The Chinese restaurant across the street from Ricardo's called Asian tasty was a joke. They gave us a dried up pile of brown rice and some dried rubbery pile of meat.

Posts: 24Crossing the border (Mexico to USA)
Last time I had some issues crossing the border: PwedWest was closed and the PedEast line was many hours long, so I ended up crossing the border at Otay and Ubering to the airport (the taxi ride to the Otay crossing cost me $30, and Uber cost me $60, so this little detour cost me $90! I'm planning to leave Tijuana on Wednesday morning. How would you guys recommend I proceed? What time should I check out of HK? I think my flight leaves San Diego around 1 pm. TIA.

Posts: 3396I once ran into a Tijuana lady in the USA. Her claim to fame is that her boyfriend knocked out her front teeth, to make BJs more pleasurable.
She never fixed them.

Has anyone stayed at Hotel Ibiza (the one beside Malquerida)? They used to have a website years ago but it seems to be gone now. Is it still open? Also, has anyone checked out the small hotel beside Gold Club in the alley? I noticed it on my last trip when I was eating on the balcony at Azul and I don't remember it being there before.

As far as Rio Verde and bar fines an amigo bar fined a girl there for 20 bucks. But we all know nothing in Tijuana is set in stone. Might depend on who the manager was at the time or the girl or how much time is left on her shift.

Seems that with all the talk about the clubs and how expensive things are getting and guys seemingly being more and more disappointed in the poor service they get from girls that this might be the next club to open in Tijuana.
This article is a few months old so I'm surprised that it hasn't been discussed before. Maybe in the German forums.
