Posts: 577Hotels are becoming pricey. I had booked a few around 1. 5-2 months back, found them a bit higher priced compared to my trip last year but still booked as refundable hoping it will get lower towards the end of March as the high season subsides.
Now when I check the prices they all have gone up by atleast 500 baht per night!

Hi,
Been too BKK many times. I have some Bonvoy points burning a hole in my pocket and I'm wondering, which of these 3 hotels you would stay at and why:
Aloft on Sukhumvit 11 (leaning away from this one as soi 11 seems to be a heavy party street).
Sheraton Four Points on Soi 15.
Courtyard by Marriott on Soi 20.
Thanks for your input.

Posts: 1439As I pointed out in another place, the Galleria 10 on soy 10 does not check Girl IDs or even pay attention. It's not a bad place for the money.

There seem to be different experiences here with deposits. I have never been asked to pay a deposit for each day that I was staying at a hotel. Not in Thailand, or anywhere else for that matter. I always have to pay only one deposit of 1000 or 2000 Baht for the whole stay.
Maybe it makes a difference whether you pay your whole stay in advance or not. If you don't pay in advance, you have to pay a deposit for each day. If you pay in advance, you only have to pay 1000 or 2000 Baht.
Just guessing.

Just stayed at Night Hotel Soi 15 Suk. Apparently 4 star hotel. Found it to be very good BUT want something a little closer to Soi 11 area. Any hotels of similar standard and price?
