Just remember that Google Fi will shut off your roaming data after 30 days being in a foreign country. I use Fi exclusively both in the USA And while traveling abroad but the 30 day thing can be an issue for some. If I am in a foreign country for more than a month I just get a local sim and keep the Fi for calls and texts to and from the USA I understand why they do that but the odd thing is if you spend 29 days in one country then go to another country they don't shut off your roaming data until you hit the 30 day limit in the new country. I just spent 26 days in the DR and 32 days in Colombia and they didn't shut my data off until I hit 30 in Colombia. It comes right back on when I return to the USA.

    First Trip Sosua

I'm in a similar situation to Dtrain, first time trip to the DR and first international trip in over a decade.

Planning to go for a week, maybe 10 days. Lots of great information and many of my questions have already been answered. I pretty much just plan to eat, sleep, play and relax.

I was wondering if there's a girl friendly hotel / resort that's close to all the action while actually being a decent or fun resort to just stay at instead of a boring hotel with literally nothing to do.

Also if there are any agencies. My general understanding is there are some slow periods, hard to find girls during the day, many of them are pretty robotic / uninterested and they may not be the body type I'm looking for. I guess that's a part of the fun, finding someone you like but I wouldn't mind an agency girl either- of course as long as they don't ask for insane prices.

Curious to what the running price would be to take out a girl for an entire day too, and how open the girls are to various different things in general.

Yes, I should have slapped her in the face and told her to get the F. Out of my stuff immediately. I was just so surprised she thought she could rummage through my stuff like she had rights.

Never trust a hoe. She was probably looking for some perfume she could demand. Instead she found some remote cars for my grandkids. And eventually I lost my temper with her. Most women are like that. They try to see how far they can go before you raise your voice at them and get mad. Then they back down.

How much will the local SIM cost and will it include data?

I would not use any credit cards with all the scam charges going on. Deal in cash only.

Hotels generally allow early check in if they have rooms available. Otherwise just go around the corner and hang out at a bar or restaurant.

Daytime you can go to beach and do beach activities. Go tours of mountains and Brugal distillery tour. Or just rest ready for nightlife.

I usually rent a car. I believe taxi costs approximately 30-40 dollars. Cheapest is walk to the main road which is not far hop on a moto or take passing share ride taxis. Taxi mafia at airport are brutal. In Cartagena I used Uber which was not expensive.

Is cash the only means for paying at places like Rumbas, Bailee's or the supermercado or is electronic payment accepted?

Does New Gargen allow early checkin? I have a 1 pm flight but there check-in is at 2:30 pm.

What is the daytime routine for chicas? Playa Sosua?

I'm reading Weekdays are really slow so what is there to do other the sex?

Has any tried exchanging currency with your bank and flying with the cash?

Also what is the taxi cost from POP airport to Sosua? I don't want to get ripped off like I did in Cartegena as soon as I touched down.

Card is generally accepted as a form of payment as resturants.

Never stated at New Garden but you should contact them via whatsapp. Normally is not a problem with advance notice.

There are a few walking around. Not many. Can get a massage, go to beach, take part in excursions. Not much but a few things to do there outside of the ladies and the town.

If I need to reeup on the cash. Would normally use the ATM at el banco. Pesos is recommended.

$20 transport is what I generally pay my guy.

    Most guys have a preference

Most of the black guys I Know like the big but girls and the girls seem to know this. They get injections and twerk their ass to show them off. I tend to be flexible. One day a slim jane the next a thick girl. I like performance. Getting that from working girls is a challenge. My days on the stroll are numbered as I approach the 70's. I work out and maintain a good physic. What I like about Sosua was being able to satisfy whatever preference I had on a giving day. The big change in Sosua is it is no longer a 7 day a week party. The week day girls are the hard core girls. Many have been on the stroll for over 10 years. I still see some of the same faces that were working back in 2012.

When I 1st started going Monday had as many hot babes on the stroll as other places had on Saturday night. It was amazing. Possible 400 to 500 girls 9's and 10's every where. The streets would be blocked off from cars while road were full of people. Now that vibe is only on Thursday thru Sunday. The out of town girls leave Sunday or early Monday for their homes all over the DR. Never the less if you know what to expect you will have a great time. Now days my stable of regulars make it hard to audition new talent. This is a great problem to have. In 13 years I have had 4 bad experiences while having over 400 girls. Come to Sosua on Thursdays if you are a newby with no contacts. No need to deal with internet babes. You will find more attractive women then you can get to. My greatest frustration with Sosua was not being able to service all the girls I got numbers for.

I tend to end up with spinners since I shy away from ones with kids.

There were fresh lobster and fish sellers on the highway going towards cabarete. I always rent a car and cruise around. There was a British guy with British flags outside restaurant on the way to the beach left side. He would cook those the way I wanted. I was generous with him payment wise. He did add sone shrimps and made wonderful dishes.

Getting lobster at the restaurants is a crapshoot. Sometimes they are not fresh. I like only fresh lobsters. There was a place in Puerto plata which had fresh lobsters. Not sure if the British or puerto plata restaurants are still there. Have not gone there after covid.

The Russian couple that runs the hotel due a good job but the place is a bit outdated.

My biggest complaint was the noisy air-conditioning system and the fact that its cash only. Credit cards are not accepted. The basic rooms go for $60 a night.

True. Dominican girls like to go thru your stuff. Last time I was in Sosua the girl immediately started looking thru my shopping bags and toys for my grand kids, like she wanted to have them. Better to lockup everything. Then the girl refused to do a BBBJ and I said, "there is the door!" got my BBBJ and a lousy fucky.
