Should we just hold a rock-paper-scissors contest for the US presidency?
If your ideal candidate, is someone that loves to utter slurs that degrade and denigrates America, the very country in which he plans to hold office and that doesn't bother you as to the character of your president or for the vision (or lack thereof) that he has for America and Americans, then I guess Trump's your man.
Better yet, if I were to take your quote and apply it to Trump (as the list of people he's insulted, defamed, besmirched and bad-mouthed, could wallpaper the White House 2x over), he has NO discernible CHARACTER, has NO VISION for America and NO PLANS (unlike what Obama/Biden did for example with the 2016 AI Development Initiative Plans, where today, the US is now the world leader in AI tech), or IDEAS with which to take the US to the next level. None! Unless you consider, "...drill baby, drill"?
So where exactly do you see Trump? Great, Average or Small minded?
I often like to use the quote: "Great minds think alike and small/weak minds seldom differ"

Of Richard Nixon; she said he appears to be a very intelligent person with ability but would be the least attractive choice for POTUS, an outcome that would worry her because he seems not to have any strong convictions, something she opined was needed to deal effectively with a crisis.
She was obviously a good judge of people and was quite willing to, diplomatically, offer her opinions of them.
If she were still alive today and asked about Trump, Moscow Mitch, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ted Cruz and virtually every other Classic Repub on the scene since Crooked Nixon's humiliating resignation her response would probably be to start vomiting and never stop for several days.

At the same time, Mainstream Media would like us to forget Reagan's clear and unambiguous War Whoop against Evil American Democracy that so charmed and endeared America's domestic enemies and has inspired them to join and support Repub Icon Reagan's Repub Party ever since to attack and denigrate America as THEIR enemy too right up to this very day, choosing another Classic Repub lord and savior to lead the way.
Ronald Reagan, in his 1981 Inaugural. Address:

"...government is not the solution to our problem; government IS the problem."
Yep, Great Repub Recession, Ten Consecutive Months of Whopping 10%+ Unemployment Rate in his 2nd and 3rd Year, Trade Arms For Hostages Felon Teflon Ronnie could just as well have highlighted his first Inagural Address with, "America Sucks"!.

Posts: 1131Trump's New Campaign Slogan..."America SUCKS!"
Attaboy Trump!
Showing his true colors and disdain for the presidential office, for America, and the American people, with his buffoonery and wild rhetoric that "America SUCKS!" and "America is a JOKE!", slurred campaign speech.
Good luck with that hate campaign and hate sloganism!
PS: Unless of course it's a dog whistle to "inspire" his supporters to get out of America?

Co-founder of Students for Trump charged with assaulting a woman with a firearm
https://www.npr.org/2023/11/29/12157...-trump-assault
The Ryan Fournier, "Students for Trump" acolyte, caught pistol whipping his girlfriend. Yet another gullible cult "leader/founder" of another "Trump dystopian" group, found to be charged with a violent act, against women. Definitely "cheesy", but I'll let you decide which of the two stories is cheesier (...kkkk!)
Charges Dropped:
"According to the court docket in North Carolina and a spokesperson for Students for Trump co-founder Ryan Fournier: charges against him for allegedly assaulting his ex-gf, including hitting her on head with pistol, have been voluntarily dropped." (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink..."I'll more than pistol whip ya, if you DON'T drop the charges").
It was unclear why the charges had been dropped. Fournier, now leads a group called Radical Alert, which claims to expose how radicals have "taken over American college campuses."
Okay charges were dropped by ex-gf, but you just gotta love the pivot and the rebranding to "Radical Alert"! (...kkkk!)
Classic MAGA Repubs or just Classic "cheesy" Repubs?

Since Sen. Tuberville (R-AL), being one of the most feckless Repub Senators, wanted to attack President Joe Biden, for a recent trip to NY and tweeted this:- Tweets: "Hope Joe Biden enjoyed going out for ice cream in NYC while the rest of the city is afraid of crime and migrants." Feb 27th, 2024.
Since Sen. Tuberville, doesn't known his head from his ass, naturally he was fact checked on his tweet. As it turns out, while of course ignoring the fact that the state he hails from is 3x worse per capita than NY:
- Fact Check on NY v AL on crime:
-NY state is homicide rate is 4.8 per 100,000
-Alabama state "coach" Tuberville, represents, has a homicide rate of 15.9, the third highest in the nation.
-Florida state where "coach" Tuberviile actually resides/lives also has a significantly higher homicide rate (7.4) than NY.

Repubs are just simply blind to their own continuous hypocrisy and the harm they do spreading such lies. It is just astounding!

Posts: 5495There is no explanation for this. So I won't even ask.
Bear in mind, there is no counterpart to this behavior, slurred speech, incoherence, repeated confusion over names of election opponents, the embarrassing baby-talk and whining, the gobbledygook blithering, the astonishing level and number of lies, etc with Joe Biden. Ever.
Nor is there a shred of evidence to suggest there will be for the next decade or more.
Trump Dementia: 'You Know Argentina, Great Guy. He Loves Trump.'
Morning Joe runs a supercut of Trump speech clips, and it's painful to watch.
https://crooksandliars.com/2024/03/t...rgentina-great
Then the following happened, in Classic Know Nothing and Do Nothing Repub fashion. Or is it simply Trump's serious dementia, or both?
Trump takes credit for legislation signed by Obama.
https://youtu.be/n2WpSxJCoEQ?si=qt8QyL6TUSrNLWOk
Yeah, that is the exact same President Obama that Trump has spent months reminding us he beat in 2020 and is running against today.
Nikki Haley Nikki Haley Nikki Haley Nikki Haley or is it Nancy might be intrinsically incapable of figuring out a side on any issue to settle on.
But as a loyal Classic Repub Trump-lover and Trump-supporter, she is doing a fantastic job of protecting their Party's lord and savior by keeping the Trump nomination process going and going and going so as not to put a final nail in it and force a Repub Nominee Trump to deal with serious questions on any issue of importance or, God forbid, have to go one on one against Joe Biden in a debate where it is certain Trump will not be able to understand a meaningful question from an unbiased moderator any more than he ever did or ever could understand the issues raised to his face by any other world leader he ever met or ever would meet.

They might try to pass themselves off as such out of understandable embarrassment over admitting to anyone that they are indeed Repubs. But that doesn't mean they get to vote twice, once as a Repub and once as a fake Independent, despite Trump's instructions for them to vote twice in 2020. That is likely the answer to the "mystery" of Biden's Party, behind in the polls most of the time, also mostly creaming Repubs in actual regular and special elections in 2018,2919, 2020,2021, Red Tsunami 2022,2023 and so far in 2024.
-At this point in the presidential election year most poll respondents are not really paying much attention to the "campaigns", whatever the hell Trump is running on. For example, only about 5-15% of even Hardcore Repub Cult voters had been guessing Trump would probably be the Repub Nominee. This during the time when it was all over the news that he was beating every other Repub candidate's ass by 40% or more! How out of the loop could poll respondents be? Turns out pretty damn far.
- Mainstream Media has been giving Trump a pass on his policies and stewardship creating Trump's Pandemic ever since January-March 2020 when it was inarguably reported in Real News sources that he removed all the "Early Warning" Pandemic Prevention teams from those Chinese labs by September 2019, months before the first evidence of Covid cases emerged in those labs and while even he knew just a 2 month heads up would have been enough to avert all the trouble. Easily.
That allows for all the numbskull Repubs to blather on about how Trump's policies and stewardship were so great, produced a "great economy" (actually, through 2019 his economy would have ranked #7 among the 11 previous presidents' economies and that is if you don't factor in the TRILLIONS he added to the deficit to buy that below average economy) and come IP with idiotic questions like, "Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago"? In 2020! LOL.
Uh, yeah, ill-informed.
I also think there is an American tendency to root for the underdog. But not necessarily to vote for one and invite him back to fuck up royally at every turn again. So some of those poll responses, maybe only a few percentage points for Trump, are on the order of "Atta boy. I like your spunk! 4 Felony charges and 91 counts! Chin up. Here, I'll toss you a bone. Sure, I'd vote for you over the greatest jobs creating, wage-increasing, global democracy-strengthening, economic recovery-producing, inflation-reducing, stock market and 401 K / IRA / Retirement Fund-improving President in History. LOL. Sure, sure, I really really really mean it. " LOL.
Among other things.

If it is anything outside of Republicans are stupid and Democrats are great, which is what you have posted nonstop for years, you do not need to respond.

"Oh, God. Here we go again. A hypocrite who is leaving the USA to get laid telling me how great our country is.
This from a guy who wanted rights tossed in the trash can with Covid. Did you forget this already Paulie?
The reason you are able to go to Colombia now is because people like me called out the government on their Covid bullshit, did our research, and did all we could to ignore them. We convinced enough people they were lying and just when the majority of Americans were seeing through the scam, the government, instead of admitting it, came up with the new crisis de jour, Ukraine. And you have fallen hook, line, and sinker for that scam too.
The USA government was a bigger threat to my freedoms with Covid than Covid was. We printed up $11 trillion for Covid. For what? Now hundreds of billions for Ukraine? For what? Meanwhile, I fly from Fort Lauderdale, a shithole of an airport, to the Bogota airport, which is beautiful. Is it too much to ask that my tax dollars go to infrastructure versus the police / deep state, MIC, and for a virus that was as potent as the flu in most people?
The USA is the best country in the world in which to make a living. For the most people, the American people are compassionate and kind unless they have government or attorneys making them go to war with each other.
You paid American women to have sex and broke the law. You going to lie about that like Tooms too? Are you going to pat yourself on the back and claim to be a law abiding citizen? OMG.
And you make it out like it is me. How many people are going to ignore all the deep state warnings and all the prosecutors and vote for him?
I have an idea. If you do not like Trump as president, why don't you leave?

Immigration is 'taking pressure off' the job market and economy, expert says.
https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/02/immi...ndroidappshare
-Why immigration is a net benefit for the economy .
-Immigration has helped put a lid on inflation.
No evidence immigrants are taking American jobs......
Immigrants also launch new businesses at far higher rates than the overall U.S. population, according to research published in 2020.
The study authored by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University and the U.S. Census Bureau found immigrants in the U.S. workforce to be substantial job creators with an 80% higher entrance rate into entrepreneurship compared with native-born individuals. It examined data on more than 1 million firms founded between 2005 and 2010 that survived for at least five years.
"Overall, the findings suggest that immigrants appear to create jobs (expand labor demand) more than they take jobs (expand labor supply) in the U.S. economy, the study said.

https://thehill.com/opinion/immigrat...ration-system/
Both President Biden and former President Trump are visiting the U.S.-Mexico border today, where voters will hear dueling messages about what each believes the other one has done or failed to do. As such, it is important to debunk the gargantuan myth of how successful Trump was on the issue of border security and controlling illegal immigration.
Trump was not successful. In fact, he made the issue much worse, decimating the legal immigration system while failing to deter illegal migration.
Seriously. Was there anything related to the economy, jobs creation, national security, immigration, border control or his sworn duty to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America that Donald J. Trump did not totally fuck up to spectacularly historic disastrous results?

Watters did not disclose, however, that Lee is actually James DePaola, who has had multiple run-ins with the law himself, including when he became violent over a grilled cheese sandwich his wife had made, prompting his 12-year-old daughter to call the police.
On February 28, Athens-Clarke County Mayor Kelly Girtz held a press conference. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the press conference had been interrupted multiple times by protesters, including James DePaola.
- Law-enforcement officers did not remove anybody from the room while Girtz spoke, but police asked Athens resident James Depaola several times to wait his turn to speak.
"We the people are tired of this lawlessness," Depaola told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after the press conference ended. "We are being put last. "
Yep. More Repub-Winger phony outrage planted in the otherwise empty skulls of their base since it is impossible for Repubs to point to one now revered positive legislative result or benefit to the American People that they ever proposed, fought for and passed when they occupied the White House and had the Majority in the House and the Senate.
Not one.
Right up there with Repub-Wingers' continuing rant that Obama-Biden's historic economic recovery from GW Bush's historic Great Repub Recession and Massive Jobs Destruction wasn't "fast enough" compared to the Dems' other previous Great Recoveries from previous Great Repub Depressions / Recessions and Massive Jobs Destruction, Obama's beige suit, Biden's historic recovery from the most recent "Once in 100 Years" Repub Disaster under Trump not managing to pull us out of that Great Repub Global Supply-Chain Collapse with zero inflation or the cost of gas going up and on and on and on.
