I think there are a lot of different reasons a man may choose to be in an LDR. Choosing to be in one so you can fuck a lady is a stupid reason. Only an idiot would do that, given the open availability of women. But maybe he is in love. There are two women in the world that I care about, and both are in the Philippines. One is my wife, and the other is my partner and having my baby soon. I send my wife money every month, and my partner has her own income and asks for nothing but my time.

My advice is to think why you want to give up time with your GF to see another woman, especially if you don't get to see her often. Monger when you get back home, or go to Thailand or another place for action after you leave her in Philippines. And, I know this is a mongering forum and not a relationship forum, but I'll say this anyway. If you care about the girl and she has to go to the province for a couple of days, go with her. That should go without saying. And, if she doesn't want you to meet her family or something, that's a red flag right there.

No offence but I've yet to see any benefits from having a Filipina LDR. Much easier to just turn up and do as you please. It's not as if we need to keep someone on retainer in case no one else is available.

If she is in the Philippines and is going to meet you in the city, just arrive a day before you tell her you will be there. Do the same when you leave to go home. That always worked for me.
