Please can you help me out in deciding which hotel in / near the strip to book? What I need:
1. Less noise or reasonably quiet to be able to sleep in the afternoon or by 10 PM.
2. Good security.
3. Decent sized fridge.
4. Decent wifi.
5. Late check out on the last day (want to checkout at 4 PM).
Not sure if Seabreeze and New Garden fit all the above.
For Sea Breeze, I saw a recommendation to take the rooms in the back but not sure which of those rooms are (hotels.com shows basic room and superior single room).
For New Garden, I read in previous posts / reviews about noise and that not all rooms are renovated.
If you have any info on these two, that will help a lot. Thanks!

I'm leaving for the Su later this week on a 5-day jaunt. So that I'm tracking, you stayed in Cabarete and partied at night in downtown Su? Did you drive each night or was a driver pre-arranged? I do like the beaches in Cab; however, was always wondering about the opportunities after dark.

No Santiago for me. I stalk online til I get the best flight or close to the best straight to the destination. I must say I am already getting annoyed with $100 tinder asking prices. LOL

Posts: 116Glad you're making it back! Really enjoyed your last trip reports!
First, glad you're going back. I loved Sosua in 2022. Stayed in Cabarete, drove over 3 different days during my birthday week and had a GREAT time, even though I came down with COVID.
For all the reasons you mention, it's great. Grabbing a seat and watching the girls go by is just too fun on the main drag, same with the beach, sit at a table, ocean in the background, cold Presidente in the hand, some nice seafood snacks if you desire. Fantastic!
Casino wasn't open or I didn't realize it was when I was there, so interested in hearing how it is now.
Enjoy yourself and don't let anyone's negative opinion of the place affect your enjoyment!
Jealous, truly, but I'm going to Aruba for nearly all the reasons you listed, primarily cheap flight, cheap hotel and car rental and $40 Colombianas for 30 minutes in their own room. Next cheap flight to Santiago and I'll do the same as you!
Nomars777 out.

Posts: 917BACK TO SOSUA, April & ONLY REASON WHY
Sosua is not my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice. Last November, 20 day trip had ups and downs. So here is why I am back.
$310 flight.
3 HR half flight.
Feel asses all day, night long. Asses got no face.
Love rumba music and its free.
Don't get hassled to buy drinks. I am cheap.
Walking up and down to the beach is good exercise.
Playa chiquita casino club. Mature women there give good quality time and great head too.
Discovered that mature chicks and chicks smoke weed give the best time. Want to sound proof that theory.
Repeat with four girls who gave me the best head of my life. Well actually girl in thailand did that. So they top 5. LOL.
A break from work, and united states chicks.
Do some swimming to help this old knees.
Coming here at this time will force me to go somewhere better in November for my 60th birthday.

Planning to visit Sosua next month and staying at Casa Valeria. Just confirming that Casa Valeria is guest friendly or not? Can anyone who have stayed there before comment about its guest friendliness. Thanks.

I completely agree with you. As you, I have read numerous reports speaking to nothing but negativity for the Su and everything about it. To me, it has everything I need for a 4-5 day jaunt to "re-charge" after too many long-ass days / nights working in the DC area. The prices are certainly cheaper than what I experience and the volume of 20's and 30's year olds is far greater than what I would have access.

Sosua has every thing you need you just need to learn the flow. The week days are not great. There are plenty of girls but they are more hard core. The weekends girls come from all over the Island and post up. These girls tend to be safer and more professional. They post up in Rumbas, Baillies and Playa chicita casino (100's) on the weekends. Your biggest problem is picking just one. I have experienced Sosua in its hay day. Never the less I still have a great time every time I go. If you are sitting in your room at night you not going to have a lot of fun. Not to mention seeing plenty of girls just walking the streets. I still think the prices are still a bargain. You can bang 20 year old pussy all day.

Have been to the Su 2 x per year for the last two years and I have had the best luck online. Mostly Tinder. I am an "average joe" and had NO problem pulling in 2-3 30 why / o's that were awesome. To me, the bar scene attracts the worst of the worst. At least using an app, your reach is significantly expanded outside of the bar area and you get a much larger variety of chicas.
