USD:

My biggest concern coming to Harare was the currency. This certainly didn't turn out to be refrigerator heaven (the steak melts of your tongue like chicken though, unlike the rubber they sell back home), but the dollar was doable. There's plenty of ATM's that give dollars in town, just hit any Stanbic Bank. After drawing money I only loose 3 cents on a dollar with the ATM costs in account so this was fine.

Everybody takes USD. The problem is that there's no coins so everything costs 1 USD now. If you want banana's with a street vendor you have to buy 7. If you want mandarins you have to buy 5. If you want to buy a 500 ML coke on the street because you're thirsty you have to buy 2. If you want a drink in a bar, you have to pay 1 USD or take 2. The minibus back to town is 0. 25 cents in Kampala, 0. 40 cents in Lusaka. Here you now pay 1 USD for the ride.

The price for food in the supermarket is high. The price for medicines in the pharmacy is ridiculous, for example morning after pills in Lusaka are 0. 60 USD, here it's 3 USD. There's no Game here so if you need some cheap stuff for your room you're fucked.

So the transport and the price of living is sort of killing it. Spar hands out 0. 50 USD coupons for your change but you loose it on their prices, lot's of lollipops instead of change at OK supermarket.

Away from the safety and comfort of your room, waiting on your Tinder date and back on the street. However lot's of girls here kept their armpits and pussies sort of trimmed hairy (Big Apple red light zone) which I dig and their pussies were always exceptionally wet so I didn't want to miss out.

Visa:

30 day visa upon entry at the airport. Then you can go to immigration twice for a free 30 day extension. After which you can go in 3 times for a 20 USD 30 day extension. So a total of 180 days allowed on a tourist visa. This is accurate information enquired in June 2024.

Weather:

So far the sun always shines but the nights are cold. Much colder then Nairobi even. First town I don't have a fan but an electric heater instead! At night the temperature drops to 6°see so having a look at the street girls around Big Apple is a bit chilly.

Transport:

Tinder girls seem to use inDrive app, I see these on the street in Big Apple area waiting as well. For both the cabs as inDrive I pay 15 USD to my hotel, an hour waiting and bringing her back. Like other towns in Africa the minibus drives specific routes straight to town, it's 1 USD at all times, no matter how far or close to your destination you are. In addition to the minibus there's also private cars doing routes slightly different of the minibus taking in up to 4 passengers. They also charge 1 USD but are more comfortable. Just stand by the road and put your hand up, they'll stop. For example the minibus will head to Angwa Bus Terminal but the private cars will head to Joina City on the same route. For Belvedere and Avondale head to Copacabana Bus Terminal. Braeside is Fourth Street Bus Terminal.

At the intersection of Fidel Castro Rd and Chinhoyi St there's many shops with bicycles for sale going for 100 USD.

Internet Dating:

On the contrary of what other members reported there is barely a hookup dating scene. I'm not stupid, I was on Tinder in Kampala, Nairobi and Lusaka with amazing succes. There's little here. Not on Tinder, not on Badoo and especially not on ZimHookup.

After a week in Nairobi I got 40 matches 18-23 yo, 15 agreed on a hookup right after saying nothing but "Hi, How are you? Here I have 2 matches after a week who only want to date.

Not over here. I only used inDrive in Harare when I found one waiting in town.

So the cab really kills the price. I didn't find a hotel in town nearby enough that was willing to discount a long term stay. Of course you can have a quickie for only 10 USD at Holly's or the Liz but raw sex was hard here with the pretty ones. City Sports Bar is even cheaper (5 USD) but they weren't my type.

I was in Bulawayo for the just ended ZITF. I arrived in the evening and I had 5 nights and 5 days. Bulawayo sex whatsapp groups are difficult to come by but I had managed to come across only 2.
