I don't normally visit Thailand in the middle of the year but will be back in Bangkok at the end of the month.

I like the concept of gogo bars, but historically prefer AC, as they are a bit easier on the ear drums and less crowded. Will I notice a significant reduction in how crowded the gogo's are compared to my last visit in December?

The oilies are making a bit of a comeback here in Bangkok.

The problem is they are not safe anymore.

There are at least two shops employing each at least one post op LB in their line up and not telling the customer when the customer pick them up.

It might be a new trend and others might follow them too.

It has been long I was here. I went to the BKK trip on August 2023. I haven't had time to write my visit. So, I was mainly into Uzbek Girl, and I only visited the disco, MIXX Disco. The crowed was not good at all, and very less talent there. It use to be a haven for people like us, but I only saw 3 or 4 decent Uzbek lady there. I went there three days in total but bust in all of them. I am planning next visit in July 2024, Lets see anything changes or not. If not I need to find a new destination for me.

Pattaya Palace was as empty as I've ever seen last night at 830 pm.

Right across at Jacks I couldn't gauge the crowd it was me and another guy. Since it's always like that I don't know if that is Condlsidered busy.

Honestly, Billboard is packed every night, I have to admit it's a good place to get a drink. The music is good and DJ even puts some oldschool rap around midnight.

Even NEP is packed but the people are mostly wandering between each shops, except for Billboard which is even hard to find a good place.

A lot of great reports here but everywhere seems to be 45-60 mins away from the airport. I have a 4. 5 HR layover in BKK and was wondering if they are any BJ bars / brothels closer to the airport.

Whilst it can be done and people do it, I think you know your answer already.

If your trip is job related, best route would probably be try and come up with an excuse for having to stay longer, at least overnight. I have told my work due to my age, I need to break up the long haul flights with a night in-between, that I can't manage the excessive load on the body. It worked and was no issue with my employer once I approached (bull shitted) the subject.

With 4. 5 hours, you aren't going to enjoy things, your flight could be delayed, you can't say for certain how long immigration control will take, traffic to BKK and possibly more importantly back out to the airport can be uncertain, checking yourself back in through security at the airport. The list of unknown variables could be extended. Way to much stress!

I've been back in Bkk these last two days, first observations:

There was not a single person in front of me at the immigration desk.

Price of the oil massage (without extra) have gone up substantially. I've seen only two places offering it at 400 per hour. Every others were 500,600 and even 650 per hour. Strangely, prices of other services didn't go up (foot or Thai massage). These prices have been checked along Sukhumvit between Nana and Prom Phong.

NEP is filled with so many LB bars nowadays, I could count at least 5 or 6 LB bars there. Newbies beware in which bars your putting your feet in.

It's so hot outside that I'm fearing to get a cold because of the big difference of temperature between outside and every places we want to go in. Hope it's going to keep raining hard during early mid days.

I think EA's summary of BKK vs Jakarta is pretty bang on. If you like drama and game playing Thailand is for you. If you are looking for a fake GF Thailand is for you. Notwithstanding CJ's and BATS, Jakarta is pure point and shoot. When Jakarta girls get to know you they will sit with you and hang out. Otherwise, you get girls in groups of 20 brought up to you until you find one that you like. No need to buy a drink. No need to buy LD's.

Pretty much what I thought and researched. For me stuff to do during the day is important, can't fuck 24/7.

Is there much online options there like TF or Pina? FLers using Wechat, or what ever?

Seems like a drop in place for 5 days and then off to somewhere else.

Typical Jakarta day starting at 5 pm. Pick a pretty girl in her early 20's, fuck her for an hour, go back to the main room, pick a 2nd girl and repeat, get some dinner before 10 pm, go back or to another bar and pick another girl. Total cost 365 k x 3 girls ($69 US), plus 300k tip ($18 US). Do make sure you tip the Jakarta girls. They make so little. Thailand doesn't have anything close to that, not even Soi 6 with their inferior girls at $50 US plus tip and drinks and LD's per girl!

As for traffic in north Jakarta, Classic, Travel, Malio, Kota Indah all 10-15 minutes taxi of one another even with traffic. Taxi rides will all be under 5 USD. About the same time it would take from Terminal 21 to Walking Street on a baht bus or Nana to Cowboy in BKK traffic.

Negative about Jakarta, it's a bit out of the way like Manila/AC.
