A recent report mentions Renaissance Jaragua is green and close to the action. However I have been recommended the JW Marriot in the Bluemall (its on our companies corporate list, while the Jaragua is not). Given that the company is paying for my accommodation, I'll need to convince them to front for the Jaragua. If required.

So given the above, if all else fails. What is the hobby like near the Bluemall area. A colleague has mentioned he was successful in a lobby / bar pickup a few years ago, but not sure if that rings true any longer.

I was at the Blue Mall a few days ago. It would be difficult to imagine there are any working girls there. It is unbelievably high end for the Dominican Republic (Louis Vuitton, Armani, Carolina Herrera, a scotch whiskey store, Golds Gym, Desigual, etc). Obviously, you can find non working girls there, but they are likely to be educated and wealthy and looking for the same. Outside the Blue Mall is not a great place to find street girls. If you go to the Marriott, you will be using Uber / taxi a lot and bringing girls back. This will work for you, I am certain as SD is not hard to get around at night. Took a quick trip to SD last month. Here's a short report.

The upscale hotels are almost never chica friendly. Finding good chicas for 1 guy is hard for a newby but for 5 guys real hard. Try to hit Sosua during the weekend.
