Last year I booked thru Airbnb from the US. (the apartment I usually book was not available at the time) I just checked their website and sure enough, they have ALL their listings. I'll include their link below for la Habana area. In case you have a different city / destination just put it in their search box.

Yes, I paid with my c/c for the rental here in the US b4 leaving to Cuba. Remember, in case you want to switch or get another place once in Cuba, you won't be able to use your c/c there because of the embargo / bloqueo in place by the US Gov.

You'll need USD once there, so I'd take at least 100 USD minimum daily (I usually take $200 daily, no problem if I have money left over) big problem if you run out of money! On my last trip this past February I met a couple of mongers who didn't take enough $$$'s and their trip was almost ruined.

In case this is your 1st trip there, I emphasize there's a learning curve that every one goes thru unless you find a wing-man with experience there.

In case you want a rental in the Vedado area send me a DM and I'll give you his info. It's a private small 1 bedroom apt on the 3rd floor. Usually $35 USD daily.

    Question and answer

I'm here right now and I booked my Airbnb in the US with an American CC. You can also use Airbnb to book tours in advance as well.

The question I have for anyone who's been here is, outside of San Raphael / prado is there another area for daytime action? I'm not a fan of the talent over here and was wondering if there were any better options. I did go to LM bar last night and the women in there were beautiful so if I have to keep hunting at night I know I at least have that option.

    Santa Maria

There's a beach near Havana called Santa Maria. Its not a bad beach and is about 25-30 minutes away in a taxi.

Since you stayed in Vedado, which beach did you end up going to on your beach days? It seems like most go to Varadero, but perhaps you went somewhere else to encounter the cuties. Let me know as the first of my 2-3 summer trips to Cuba is in 3 weeks and I'm looking to add a beach visit to one or all three.

Excellent report. Which beach did you go to and meet the various girls?

She gave me a BBBJ, played with the boys, and put on a hat. She was so good in bed, super flexible, and had such a great body, and she made me finish rather quickly. I was really impressed. It was definitely my best experience in Cuba so far. We didn't discuss money at all, and all I ended up just paying for was dinner and her taxi. She even asked if she could come back the next day and stay the night. Every part of me wanted to agree, but I enjoy variety, so I told her I'd see her in two days instead. I needed to see her one more time before I leave...

Why people fly to HAV from other countries rather than USA

One answer is simple. Many people do not want to get their passport stamped by Cuba for security reasons and / or don't want to be bothered by customs upon return home. People in tech jobs whose companies pay big money for their Security Clearances risk getting the Clearance revoked due to visiting a communist country. Big money / job to lose, personally. This is especially true for people who work with military and Dept of Defense (DoD) contractors.

    May 2024 Report

I spent five days in Cuba, staying in Vedado at an Airbnb. I didn't have any issues bringing a woman over and I didn't even ask the host this time. I was getting an exchange rate of 380 peso for one dollar. While you can pay with dollars, paying in peso is cheaper, so I always change my dollars into peso.

She even asked if she could come back the next day and stay the night. Every part of me wanted to agree, but I enjoy variety, so I told her I'd see her in two days instead. I needed to see her one more time before I leave.

Day 2: I hung out with a girl from my previous trip who was a university student. Although I didn't seal the deal last time, I was hoping to do so on this trip. She's a non-pro and I took her out to eat and explore the city. Our time together went well. She was a bit shy, so I didn't push anything, but we planned to go to the beach on Saturday. She was a lovely Cuban girl, so I arranged for her taxi and quickly messaged another girl I met on Badoo. She was 21 years old, and I wasn't sure if she was a pro or not. However, she gave off a pro vibe. I didn't bring up money during our conversation. I invited her to visit, and she was available that night, so she came over. We drank some beers, chatted, and got to business. She gave me a BBBJ, with amazing deep throat action and very passionate in bed. The power went out during our session, and the heat and humidity was too much, so we stopped prematurely because it started to feel like a steam room. I slipped her $20 and paid for her taxi.

Day three: I went to the beach solo. I wasn't trying to find any girls while I was there. However, while I was in the water, a girl waved at me to join their group of friends. She was a slim 18-year African cutie that was blessed with boobs and bootie. I had something planned with the first-night Latina, so I didn't jump on her advances, but she looked so much fun. As my day five report will also reveal. Finding women on the beach is very possible and pretty easy! I met up with the Latina from the first night again, took her to eat and drink, and she spent the night with me. I'm addicted to her; the best thing about nonpros is the sex is so much more passionate and less robotic. She wanted me to go to the beach with her on Saturday with her friends, but I told her I was leaving on Saturday (I lied; my plane back was on a Sunday), so I gave her $30 and told her to have fun at the beach with her friends.

Day four. I texted four girls the night before day four, and all agreed to see me; two were nonpros, one nonpro who asked me for 50 USD, and the last woman was a twin who stated she is up to have a three some with her sister. I assume the twins are pros, so obviously, the twins were my number one choice for day four to check off a fantasy off my bucket list. The twins were 21 years old, and they were afro cubanas. Once they arrived, I asked them if they had ever had a three-some together, and to my surprise, they said no. I'm not sure if I believed that. One twin was more up for it, and the other was more shy, so the more confident twin told me her sister would be up for it. The more confident twin just started kissing me, and the other one joined in. It was a wild experience, swapping BJ, kissing, and touching; however, for some reason, it felt less enjoyable. I'm not sure if I was just exhausted by this point, but it wasn't up to par with what I thought it would have been. Additionally, the twins, in terms of looks, did not compare to the previous girls on this trip, but I thought the twin's aspect would make up for it. I don't regret it and it was an interesting experience, but surprisingly, it didn't do much for me. I payed them 100 usd, so fifty each. I overpaid, to be honest; they would have been good with 30 each.

Day 5: I ended up bailing on the university girl from the previous trip. I was definitely exhausted at this point of the trip, so I made up my mind not to invite a girl over and just relax on the beach by myself on the last day. However, this changed rather quickly once I saw a beautiful Cubana next to me. She was with a group of her friends, so I assumed she was taken. She was so fit, and I assumed she was a dancer, so I sparked a conversation with her. Knowing Spanish goes a long way! I discovered that she was single, and everyone in the group is just university friends. She was a ballet dancer who also modeled on the side, and she was absolutely stunning. Easily the hottest girl I chatted with on the trip. I spent a couple of hours chatting with her at the beach. Her friends were really cool, and they invited me to join them at a rooftop bar event later that night. It was the best night I had. I danced with her for hours. I asked her where she was staying for the night, and she told me, "Hopefully with you. ". She came back, we took a shower, and she just put up a great performance in bed. She will always have a special place in my heart, truly an amazing woman. It destroys me that she is stuck in the situation in Cuba.

Overall, this was my second trip to Cuba. I'm in my late twenties, fit, and know Spanish, so it wasn't difficult for me to attract women. I had sex every night, spent $150 in mongering, not inlcuding food or taxis. I decided to skip the pro clubs this time because I didn't quite vibe with the type of women there. I found that Vedado had way more attractive women compared to Havana Vieja, where I stayed previously. Apart from the women, my trip to Cuba was great. Thanks for the cigar recommendations, I found a good selection of single cigars at Hotel Parque Central. Not sure when I'll be back to Cuba though, seeing the country and cuban struggle is disheartening. I have such a hatred for the cuban goverment. I hope this report is helpful.

I believe tickets cannot be purchased thru Expedia because it is an American corporation -- read up on the Cuban Trade Embargo.

It might even be cheaper to fly to Cartagena and then take a second flight from Cartagena to Havana. And that doesn't make sense because it is less than an hour flight from Florida.

And then I read reports about people flying through Mexico City. Why?

I figured there had to be an airline that specialized in dirt cheap direct flights from Miami to Havana, but I guess not.
I think they are not allowed to advertise flights to Cuba. Out of the US. Expedia won't show them as it is US based. Lots of flights out of Toronto to Cuba that won't show up on search platforms that are US based.

    American Airlines

I'm flying direct to Havana via Miami on American Airlines. They're prices are always the most reasonable from my home airport, and AA has kiosks right in MIA to buy the visa. Cuba health insurance cost is included in the airfare price too, so easy peasy.

Current information from a Google search indicates that only American Airlines, Delta and Interjet offer direct flights from the US to Cuba.

FWIW I flew recently GDL-MTY-HAV with no US airlines or airports involved. I had to buy the visa at the boarding gate in MTY for $102, and the health insurance policy at the airport in Havana before passing thru immigration.

They also asked about the OFAC or cuban declaration, but had no idea what it actually was either. Eventually got into Miami and they just pretty much waived me towards Cuba!

Airports that don't deal with Cuba much have issues.
