Spent the past 5 nights at the Taormina. Girls were a plenty from Wed. Fri, then things were quite quiet on the weekend. Have taken three girls so far, one quoted me $80; the other two were agreed for $100. The girls I've seen in the bar come in all shapes and sizes. Most afternoons there were at least 10 - 15 girls on hand.
Walked up the street to check out Little Havana Bar. A couple rough looking girls inside each time.
Went to the Sportsman's on Thursday late afternoon; there were about 10 girls. Some of the girls who hang in SL have been banned from the Taormina for various reasons.
Walked by the old Del Rey, now under a different name. It is completely shut down. Rumor has it that the owner of the Taormina and another person are going to reopen it as the Del Rey. That remains to be seen, LOL.
A buddy of mine took the bus from San Jose to Jaco this morning. A 2. 5 hour ride for $7 each way. The bus station is about four blocks from the Taormina. Sure sounds better to pay $14 roundtrip than $240 for an Uber!

I changed my flights for my next trip to visit MDE (again) instead of SJO. While I really want to try a new location, my thoughts were:
- as far as chicas, I'm almost certain to choose a Colombian.
- while I'm not a penny pincher, that same Colombian is cheaper in MDE.
But what really pushed me back to Medellin were the daytime options. I love good massages by hot chicas. After alot of research, Monica's seems to be far and away the best daytime option in San Jose. But it sounds like it is the basic casa in Medellin, which is just not my favorite. I have 3 massage places in Medellin that I love, 2 of which aren't even FS. But all 3 offer very sensual nuru or at least b2 be massages. The selling point for me is the erotic, sensual, passionate way they deliver. As opposed to MDE's casas or what I believe Monica's to be, where the massage is cursory, if that, before the main events.
My question: is there anything similar in SJO? I still have a room reserved at Tao, and I'll get my FS fixes at night there if I change the trip back to Costa Rica. I'm still wanting to try SJO, but I'm just underwhelmed by what I've found in the massage world. The other wrinkle is how the environment has changed for mongers in MDE. I've looked into Jaco and it seems like a similar situation.
Thanks in advance.

I usually walk up to Sportsman's Lodge for a late afternoon lunch as SL's bar food is better and more reasonably priced.
Chubb, s Sports Bar up by the old HDR is also a good eating option.
I also have been using Elizabeth to book my rooms for many years.
I'll be providing some updates.

Just came back after a quick trip to San Jose.
Taormina hotel is very nice. My friend Elizabeth made sure I got the best room with one chica fee gratis. Plenty of hot water and if you tip the maid she will give you plenty of towels.
As for girls some evenings are very busy. Most girls are past their prime. Gone are the very young girls I used to see in Del Ray. There are very few good looking ones. Going rate us $100 one shot. Never believe them if they say they will stay two hours. They promise massage after sex but never deliver.
As for gambling there is one blackjack table. There is a poker room. Plenty of machines.
Food is not bad but expensive. There are no nearby restaurants. Need to take Uber which is cheap. Most local restaurants seem to be open only on weekends.
Did not make it to Jaco. I wanted a relaxed vacation instead of running around.
Del Ray is closed and locked. A guy said he did make reservation there and by threatening he got his money back. Not sure if it is true.
Did not take any tourist visit as I have rented a car before many times and have seen everything.
Did not visit any other casinos.

Maybe you should look at my earlier posts on my travels and experiences. My response was to quotes that were posted.
Stay off the steroids bruh, and stop posing in the mirror!
You offer nothing new here that hasn't already been figured out.
Bruh!

Hard to get that even in San Jose if you are not a regular or waiting till the end of the night and a girl with no takers stays 12-6 am or 3 am to free breakfast if she likes you.
What's your method please.
So we can help drive prices down again.
With the inflated prices in Jaco sometimes I think its worth bringing sand to the beach especially for overnighters or 24 HR days in a row.

So many Americans have retired there.
They drove up the prices.
Making it hard for the Ticas to afford to live there.
McDonald's Burgers are almost double the price than in the USA.

I did not say I paid nor accepted their quotes. I merely provided information. All three of you. Read my post again.

Set up for the bar you refer to is the same. But you can go through it and out into the next part which is the jungle bar, and is huge, with multiple levels and large screens etc. Etc. They don't always have it open, but evenings especially weekends it is and you could easily have a couple of hundred people in there and it would not be crowded.
