It's probably best not to worry about classifications of women here. The dividing lines between pros, semi-pros and gifted amateurs is pretty thin in the Philippines and it shifts all the time. Sort of like President Bush Senior's "line in the sand." What's the real difference anyway.

Are there any hotels near [walking distance] LA Cafe, around US$25 a night, and nice? If not near LA Cafe please discuss its convenience.

What are the chances that they won't have a room for you if you just show up in a cab?

What do you do if they are full? Do you have the cab wait until you know you have the room?

What do you ask for at the desk to avoid the kano price?

Day Two:

I was up early feeling a little refreshed after a decent rest in 26 hours of travelling; I had established contact with a couple of girls that I had been corresponding with since March, when I was last here and a couple of others via various means. I said it would be better for her to borrow the money from someone locally rather than me actually sending such an amount. I calculated that OK, I suppose it would not do too much harm and once I had sent this amount, she asked if its OK for her to stay with me, all-night, fine, I said.

So with no action arranged so far on the second day I opted to go to EDSA, which seemed to have even less people there than when I was here back in March. I know this is the type of place people either love or hate, but to be honest compared to what I have seen in the LA Café its better in terms of the quality of girls in there. The choice of clubs inside EDSA was not that much to choose from, it really depends on what type of music you prefer to listen to, I opted for Pitstop, inside at 9.40pm I was informed I was only the second customer of the night, there were a couple of girls that caught my eye but I was looking out for these two cousins from Cebu that working in there when I was last here in March but sadly for me they have since moved on. There is a lot of thinking going on here as Abbey again pipes up that this is not AC where you get everything for a little price, but I said I know that already. As they needed whatever money I was going to give them, more than I needed them on this particular night, we soon get down to business.

After the girls shower and come back to the bed Abbey seems to be the more dominant of the two, whilst Brittany seems to go along with anything I say. My point was pro or not, handing over a few dollars will help pros and non-pros alike.

I know that a true non-pro may protest a little, but if you insist that you just would like to do something nice for them because you think they deserve it and you think they are nice, they will take some money.

If a girl just meets you and jumps in the sack with you for sex, knowing that you will be leaving the country forever or not to return for months. Do you think a vast majority of these girls are non-pros? Possibly just more professional than some of the others.

Grand Blvd hotel is a nice place and guest friendly. There is also a great massage place in the 8th floor. You're very close to all the KTV bars along Roxas and Malate is just a 5 minute walk as well.

This is my first post on the board and would like some help from the more experienced. I will be back in Manila the last week in October and have yet to book my hotel room. I have always stayed in Makati but this time I want to try something different. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Grand Boulevard on Roxas. The idea of an afternoon massage to get things started followed by an evening stroll to the LA Cafe is very enticing. Any information on the Grand Boulevard would be greatly appreciated; such as: Guest friendly, 24 hour room service, king size beds, bar for FL, clean rooms etc., and is there a separate entrance for the Skyline MP or does everyone have to go through the front lobby entrance? Fair call about paying the girls. My biggest problem, perhaps due to inexperience, was telling the normal girls who I met in discos etc from the semi-pro working girls. This is not intended as a flame, but it is not hard to get laid for free in the Philippines. Many guys have proven this as you have.

The girls are usually to shy to ask you if you can help them, when you do not offer. I have even had girls refuse my initial offers to give them money. It was only after I insisted that they take the money did they accept my offer.

My point here is that most of these girls do believe that by the end of their stay with you they will receive some help in the form of money from you.

It doesn't take much considering what they make just working in the PI to make a difference in making the rent that month or buying food.

This may answer a few questions for you. I recently returned from 10 days in RP, six in Manila and 4 at Sabang beach. I found the girls downstairs in LA cafe to be average, although one night my mate picked up a 19 year old cherry girl and she was over the moon the next morning when he gave her 1500 pesos for her birthday - she genuinely wasn't expecting a cent, very cute as well. Upstairs at LA the girls are generally younger and prettier, quite a few 7-8's, only saw about 2 9's. I picked up a few freelancers at the karaoke bars along the main strip. One cutey on "holidays" from Makati ended up spending two days with me travelling around the island and I didn't give her a cent. You can be lucky.

Overall, I had a ball. Two things never cease to amaze me about the PI girls and the guys who love them. First, so many are willing to bonk without condoms. Gonorea is out of control in Manila as a result, so fellas - tarp up at all times.

Being an old Asia Hand, I've mongered and then some in most or all of the Asian countries you mentioned I was stationed in E. Timor a few years back and used to run amok in most capitols. Now the PI was NEVER my favorite place (Bankok Pattaya) for mindless imaginative sex, however, I discovered a great secret once when stranded in the PI....there are girls here who you can pick up quite easily, non pro or non bar girls but regular ladies who are students, nurses, (had a lady dentist once) school teachers that will rock your world, I have to say Manila is the worst place for such most are freelancers, Pros or semi pros.
