I was just wondering WHICH Pattaya you are referring to. I live here and there are more foreigners here NOW than ever.

Even KFC is full every night. That should account for something.

Last night, Peppermint was 90% full by 8:30. On a big Tuesday night, everything was filling up. Diamond full (no seats) 9:30-10pm.

There ARE plenty of girls however.

    Russian bar

The Russian bar Las Vegas is not worth the money. The women are not very attractive, the beer prices are high, and the show is boring. Half the time the woman dancing on stage gets off stage and goes around private dancing at the different tables so there is no one on stage and nothing to watch except other bar patrons. This is all just imho of course.

Indian Viagra - Penerga is 400-500 baht for a 4-pack of 100mg tabs

its not the USA "official" Viagra , but seems to work as good.

    Price of Vitamin V

    Daring Mood:

Viagra costs me 500 baht for a 4-pack of 100mg tabs from any of the drug stores on Sukhumvit near NEP in BKK.

I can get Vitamin V for a better price in Pattaya. I don't know the name of the store, but here is how to get there. Walk along Soi 13 towards Second Beach road. Do not cross Second Beach road. Walk to your right, and it is the first drug drug store on the right. I have paid as low as 1200 Baht for 3 packs of 4 100mg tabs.

What are the prices for barfine, ST and LT at that Russian go-go? How is the level of quality?

When I was last there in April the Russian freelancers I saw were crap, 5-6 on the Richter scale of beauty at best, not really worth the extra bahts.

    Discrete Web-surfing

    Marcostraight,

There is an internet cafe in the open space that runs from Beach Rd to Second Rd (off Soi 11), opposite the Apex Hotel with private booths.

    Quick connection and friendly staff.

    Enjoy yourself!

One week in Pattaya now....Situation's better than last year. Many girls and less foreigners.Soi 6 is always perfect for a quick hit.
I've been to a new GoGo in walkin street with russian girls....Very UN-suggested.I'm sorry I'm not able to post pictures 'cause I'm writing from public computer, if someone knows some discret Internet cafe in Pattaya please let me know.I met most of my old sweeties...including Na, I guess It was not a good idea to let the members know where she lives...She's so damn busy

    Cialis and Viagra Prices:

I have seen many posts across Asia requesting information on Cialis and Viagra pricing.

Can you PM the price you paid in Bangkok (exact location), and Pattaya (exact location), and Chang Mai (exact location).

When I have received your input I'll post a table of prices versus HK, China, and if poss Manila?

    Cheers,

    Legal Age

    vegas posted :
...what is minimum age that is safe to play with. had many girls
want to go with me that was under 18 but i was chicken about
    getting in trouble....."

from your handle it seems you are from the usa? if so federal law in the united states makes it illegal to travel another country for sex with persons under the age of 18. on the thai side a thai is a adult at age 15, but they are not allowed to work in the bars until age 18, and not allowed to enter bars and discos (unless employed by club) if **** 20.

in practice the thai police will always go after anyone who goes with a person under 15 years old and if any person goes with a sex workers who is 15 to 17.

also remember that the thais like all asians add a year to their age, a girl who turned 17 yesterday will say she is 18 today. they round up to the next year.

the best thing to do is check id's and if you don't read thai stay with girls who are 19 and older.

on another note pattaya is too crowded right now, to many families walking around the city, but that will be the norm for the next few months.

Dancing in the nude is still alive

    Hey Mannga,

Was in Pattaya in Oct and found a number of bars that had some nude dancing. Some places have it regularly, others need to keep watch for local police and hustle the girls off when the waring is signaled.

A couple along beach street - by soi 13 and soi 13/2, then several on Walking Street. My guess is that most of the gogo bars on Walking street will have some nude dancing. I saw at least 6 places.

    Enjoy, and be safe.

I've stayed at the The Siam Bayview and it is not GF: they charge a joiner fee.

Mongers should avoid this hotel, unless they don't mind being ripped off with joiner fees.

Yes, I stayed there once and only once. The rooms there are way overpriced. You can get the same quality rooms at other hotels for half the price.

And Siam Bayview is not guest friendly. They charged me 300 baht per guest.
This may be isolated, but one of the desk clerks kept bugging me to go to a disco with him (I think he was gay).

One time he even called my room after a guest left. I'm sure he was keeping track of me.

This hotel is not worth it by a long shot.

    Zos,

I have not stayed at Siam Bayview, however i believe that they charge an extra 600 baht if you take a guest back with you, even if you have paid for a double.

    The Montien is the same.

What you will be best to do is e-mail a Hotel direct and ask them what their policy is regarding guests.

    Next trip

    Hi Guys,

I posted in the trip plan thead but thought I'd put a note here as well.

My next trip is booked from the 8th to 20th Jan. I was just wondering if anyone else was going to be around in Pattaya at this time? A couple of beers and a chat with other forum members would be great.

PM me or post on this thread.

Also has anyone ever stayed at Siam Bayview Hotel. Did a search but couldn't find it anywhere on the forum?

My choice of destination was made by fairly extensive reading of the board and the feeling that I could not, in any real capacity, comment on anything until I've seen Pattaya.

But then again, someone going to a place for the first time will often give a different report than someone who lives there.
