Just arrived in Pattaya a few days ago and am having a great time, of course. I know Z doesn't like this place, but to me it seems that the 3F approach (I prefer the mild version) was made for a place like this, given the huge number of great looking girls here.

Anyone else here during the next week? Maybe we could meet for a beer. By the way, anyone ever been to the FLB Bar? I went there the other night, and had a terrible experience. I don't know where all the decent looking girls were (the ones that they post on their web site). The girls were unattractive at best and they were very aggressive. FLB is a nice enough place, but I think they need to upgrade their staff. Or did I just have an unusually bad experience?

I've never had any problems negotiating for the services I require, of course I might have just gotten lucky with the hotels in question.

While you can find scams if you're not careful, there's never a reason why you can't just flat-out ASK what services are available.

If you want a ST room, ask for it. If you stuff afew baht in their hand they'll be very inclined to help you if service is their job (clerk for example).

Nearly every hotel has short-time rates. Cheapest is 100 Baht in the Soi netx to Soi Post Office in northern direction. It is just 30 meters from the beach on the left side. Room rate is up to 3 hours.

Some of the Go-Go bars have rooms for the ST purpose.

Also possible, if the hotel is pretty low-price and not a touristy place, ask the clerk if there might be a short-time discount. He/she might give you a price.

Ask a bartender/mamasan, they will surely know if there's a place.

If you are looking for reliable cheap rates for months stay the Diana Inn and its brother properties are good value. Get a room at these from 300-6000 bt a month depending. The Rose Garden Hotel is also okay at 6000 bt a month. Just dont worry about getting any food there. They had some problems recently but you may want to look.

I'm pretty certain that One Mansion does not have a swimming pool. I've heard that the beds are a little rough.

It seems like you have a attitude problem with the girl that work in the bars, etc. in Thailand. But I bet you are the first to complain about the attitude of the girls also. There is no problem, doing one girl and move to the next girl. But you should remember, the girls are not zoo animals. If you treat them decent, they will return it two fold. Do you treat a girls in your own country that you have a one night stand with, as a ho or a hooker?

Put yourself in their shoes, you live in a 3rd world country, you are a female, and there is two things for you to do; working at factory or farm for 5000 baht maybe or working in a club and make 40000 baht. What would you do???

You have bought up some good points in the past about Pattaya, and also the people live and go to Pattaya. But be human about this, if you dislike like this so much, why do you go to Pattaya and the other adult fanasylands in Thailand? Why are you reading and writing on this Forum about Thailand? Because you enjoy the adult nightlife in Thailand! This is probaby the reason you still live in Thailand after 4 years!

I agree with enjoying the girls and not turn them in a girl friends. But you will have a better time with the girls if you treat them good!
