I agree with Merlin about the rip-offs.

Also watch out for the strip-bars around there. You go down some stairs, and an retired hooker who is too thick to hold a conversation sits next to you while you drink your alcohol-free beer. Later you get presented with an outrageous bill for the beer and her sparkling "company". If you want a strip club then there are better places to go than soho. There is also a rip-off (although I never saw this myself) where men wait on the stairway and take the 25 pounds for the girl - of course the girl doesn't know about it when you get to the top. Only give money to the girl and you will be ok.

The 'models' are not usually around until 1pm and the doors are shut so it looks like you are in the wrong place. Prices are usually 20 pounds for sex, and 25 for sex and "french" which is the annoying phrase that is used for oral in London. Also, the girl will ask for a tip for her maid (if the girl paid the maid directly then she could be charged with living off the earnings of a prostitute - girls in London have to be solo) - you should pay 1 pound. Of course, if the maid is earning 1 pound per customer, and minimum wage in the UK is more than 4 pounds per hour, you can see that you are not going to get long for your 26 pounds - its OK if you are quick.

It might be a good idea to maybe even give the girl two pounds to give to her maid because you look like a good man before the sex starts (and a tip after the sex to the girl is too late to improve it!) and the institution of the maids is one we should support (these are usually retired pros who sit in the kitchen of the flat all day and can advise the girls or chat with a customer if the next guy comes before the previous one is finished. This makes it much safer for the girls to work).

The best attitude is to celebrate the informality of catching a movie in Leicester square, walking 5 minutes, knocking on the door of a flat belonging to a 21 year old girl you have never met, leaving 15 minutes later having left behind 26 pounds and some semen and then getting yourself a meal in Chinatown. Perfect night out. If you work in London then its a nice place to go on your lunch break if you have a whole hour and work within 15 minutes tube ride, especially if the boss is giving you hell.

Quality varies a lot - some are OK, although very few of them get into it (they see too many men in a day). About 12 months ago the girls in a flat on Newport Court (which is a small narrow alleyway with shops leading between the chinatown side of soho and ChCr Road) were usually OK (especially Sabrina), although of course if these girls were real models then they would cost 200 pounds per hour as an escort in London, and would be doing that instead of seeing several men per hour all day. There was also a door on the north side of Peter street which had a dutch girl, a czech girl and a spanish girl in the two flats upstairs (sharing different days of course) - all of which were exceptions to what I said about getting into the action (either nymphos or good actors to look like they are enjoying their 10th man of the day).

Shepard's Market is a much quieter area. Same thing here; lots of little cardboard signs. Prices generally higher here but time is usually longer. the area is in thec blocks northwest of intersection of Park Lane and Buckingham Road.

WARNING!!!!!! Stay away from anyone in the street. Street people are there for one purpose and that is to fuck you over and not even give you a kiss. Also many gypsys roam here. Women with babies are expert pickpockets.

Tyler, go to area of Soho and find China Town section (kind of south -sh of Berwick St.). You will find walk ups with Oriental girls working there. In most other parts of Soho you will find a few more Chinese girls.

I have recently returned from a two-week holiday to London. Thanks to the earlier posters for their advice. I used the walkups in SOHO with good success. Ground zero for the action is the area around Raymonds Revue Bar. It is hidden away and somewhat difficult to find for a newcomer. Close subway stations include Tottenham Court Road (central line), Leicester Square (northern line), and Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly line). I used the Gielgud Theater on Shaftesbury Avenue as my landmark (it is just down the street from the long-running Les Miserables at the Palace Theater, also on Shaftesbury). From the Gielgud Theater you can see the giant white sign of RRB at the end of the street.

A few warnings first: (1) Stay away from the strip bars and go-go clubs--they are just clip joints. I stayed away due to the advice from this forum. (2) I was approached by a tall, thin, dark-haired drug-addicted woman who wanted to show me to a brothel. It was daytime, so I followed out of curiosity. She led me to a doorway where she pressed a buzzer. She then wanted twenty pounds from me "for the girls." I said that I would only pay the prostitute directly. She said that I would not be let up unless I paid her. I just walked away. I saw this woman and a couple of others like her working this area. Once you know what to look for it is easy to find. Just walk around the streets circling RRB and you will come across over a dozen different doorways with "model" written just inside. Unfortunately very few doorways have real descriptions of the women. Once inside an additional post may say "friendly, young girl, nice," or something useless like that. Most doorways lead into a narrow stairway which you need to climb. There are usually a couple of different floors, each floor with a single woman working. Ring the bell and the maid will answer, a very non-threatening older woman. "Have a seat," she will say, if the prostitute is in session with someone else. Otherwise, you will get invited into the bedroom directly to see the model.

Every women I saw was no more than a 5 out of 10. They all had flaws, like childbirth marks, or an extra few pounds around the waist. All were young (20's) and almost all were friendly and accomodating. They were mostly European, from Spain, Greece, even Croatia and Turkey.

The initial price was twenty pounds for a straight fuck or handjob lasting ten minutes. All girls had a menu from which to choose. The most expensive option might be sex and 69 for forty pounds and fifteen minutes. So, all in all, a reasonable experience. Relatively low cost, easy access, lots of choices, legal. By the way, if you don't like the girl it is okay to say goodbye. Nothing particularly memorable, but if you have a nut to crack, its as good as anything.
