1. Massage freaks have given out several addresses in their 600+ posts.
2. Almost all the relevant information centers around Nana and Soi Sukumvit. Why did you not go there?
3. There are many short term hotels there and though this information could be highlighted better, it is there.
4. You could have booked into a second hotel in the Sukumvit area.
5. As regards the top ten places, the FAQs and even the most recent field reports of Juice Spike et al stress Sukumvit and such places as Biergarten, Gullivers, Thermae, Nana feature prominently in reports.
6. I am also a little surprised that you call Patpong a meat market. I think the family tourists and the hawkers outnumber the mongers.

Unexpected business trip brought me back to Thailand, nearly 20 years after my first visit.

My first trip was a in South Thailand. I was a student, had plenty of time and no money. With my backpack and my Lonely Planet, I tried to find the cheapest Guesthouses of Koh Samui, Krabi, Phuket and Koh Phi Phi.
Yes, I had plenty of sex, but with no single Thai: Australian, European, American girls, on backpack holidays just like me. Paying for sex was not an option for me at that time.

Yet, I remember the P4P scene, as it was an open scene in the numerous bars close to the beaches. Anyway, back to my trip in Bangkok. After a boring business dinner that lasted for hours, whe went back to the hotel. I waited for 15 min in my room before daring to go out (remember, I had even female business partners). I took a cab, and tried to usual hobbyist method, asking the taxi driver for the best places in town. Of course, the taxi driver couldn't speak English. Had to explain it with simple words and signs (I hate this). Guess where the taxi driver brought me to? Patpong! I was not anymore the WSG senior member with the best adresses in town, the FKK veteran with the highest standards regarding quality, but just a simple horny bastard in the same flow as all the other guys out here.

Anyway, Patpong is a mythic place, where every hobbyist has to go once in his life. I was quite disappointed. The scene was of course very different from the scene I've seen 20 years ago in Koh Samui. Usually, as a good reporter, I try to remember the name of the clubs and parlours. But here, this has no meaning anymore. In fact, these are not clubs, this place is a whole RLD. My general impression? All this looked more to me to a meat market, and didn't make me feel horny at all.

Bringing back a girl to the hotel was not an option (remember again my female business partners in the hotel). Before leaving for BKK I did some research work reading the FRs on this thread. Then I ventured on a Thursday evening into the scene on Ratchadapisek Road. Visited Lisa Massage on Silom Road, it's near the Tower Inn, if you exited Tower Inn and go right towards the Thai Airline Office, Lisa's Massage is will be about half way between but its on the opposite side near Sofitel Hotel. Their business card has three locations, suppose to be a ligit Massage joint but at the end of the session, the girl asked if I wanted a HJ.
