Your comment on not knowing anything about this country and its people.

If you're just coming here as a monger, you'll probably never know anything about this country or its people because for one thing, you're inhabiting a world that is fairly alien to most everyday Thais.

You have to live here for a long time even to begin to understand the place. I've been here nearly 8 years, have lived in the middle of Thai-only neighborhoods, have lots of Thai friends, work with Thais every day and speak Thai and even some Lao. Yet, I still don't claim to be in any way an expert on this country or its people. I think I'm only beginning to understand it and them, now.

Knowing the language is a huge factor in getting inside this culture. There are loads of Farang here who have lived here longer than I have, but can't speak a lick of Thai and basically live in a vacuum because of it.

Secondly, your questioning about regular TGs vs. BGs...

You could go back a year and see if you can find some of my posts. But, I'll try to put it, briefly for the sake of the Pic-hunters here.

To put it in a nut-shell, the difference is like night and day.

But, it also depends on where they come from. In my opinion, and its just my opinion based on personal experience, most women from Isaan, even regular TGs are a little crazy and very different from other Thai women. If regular TGs from the central plains (BKK and surrounding country) and the north, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai etc. and even the South (although, I think they're another subject, as well) are sometimes from Venus, Isaan TGs are definitely from Pluto and beyond. The reasons are many and complex. Put simply, it's to do with ethnicity, language, social status, education, monetary level, and appearance etc. Most Thais, outside of Isaan don't even consider them true Thais and look down on them. Most Isaan people consider themselves Isaan Laos first, and Thais second. They're dark, small and to many Thais, not that attractive. They are the under-class. So, by association, if you are seen with them, as most mongers are, you become the subject of quiet derision.

The TGs on the skytrain to which referred, those of the white skin, killer bodies, nice legs etc. are mostly upper-class, Chinese-Thais. I'm with them every day because I teach university and they are the vast majority of my students. Are they accessible? Absolutely. But, only if you live here, speak the lingo, have something to offer (not money - but, STATUS!) and are reasonably presentable. (Jabba the Hut, need not apply, which rules out many mongers).

Personality-wise, these girls are completely different that Isaan girls and especially BGs. They speak differently (more quietly, with a softer accent and use far more polite language), and walk differently (gracefully and slowly).Although they dress very sexy these days, they aren't tacky. BGs are.

Above all they're demure. They reflect that old adage about being a lady in public and a ***** in the bedroom. I guess this is what you wanted to know the most. Put simply, in my experience they are 1,000 times a better fuck than any BG.

Just got back from Thailand. Got really bored this time with the bar and a-go-go scene and fucking every night village girls from Isaan. Thailand is an amazing country. The white-skinned Thai girls one can see in the Sky Train or in the center, with their short skirts and elegant low-heel sandals are very attractive. In Thailand the food and the shopping are better, whilst with tourism there is much more to see and providing you remain in the central area, its safer. Generally, the bars and clubs are much better managed & professionally run than you would find in the Philippines.

The Philippines, providing you have a dick and can walk or even if you cannot it’s so easy to pick up a long time girlfriend there. The Philippines would be a much better bet if you are a fugitive, you can easily hide out there.

Both are equally good. I visited both severval times. Patayya is comparitively cheaper but In Manila there are no language problems. The advantage in Manila is that there is nothing much to see so tourist are few. Hence for mongering its a buyers market.
