You will find some street walkers 15 minutes from downtown, take any tram that takes you to poluscitycentre(it is a shopping mall), and you have to get off one station before. The slovak capital is a small city with a population of only 450 000 inhabitants. I started to visit Bratislava in the mid 90's and the city was grey and empty ( no tourists and a few businessmen ). But since 2000, the city/historical center turned to be very pleasant for a weekend. Not a lot of museums or touristic attractions but a lot of building renovations as well as new shops, new coctail bars, new trendy restaurants filled not only with new tourists but also pretty slovak girls ( the "new slovaks" as they call themselves )... 2. Independants

In the '90's, I found independants girls in the Pepsi disco located next to the Forum hotel (now Crown Plaza hotel). This disco is now closed and two other disco are now very popular in Bratislava : the Laverna disco ( on SNP square - next to the old market in front of Mc Donalds ) and - since the disco located on the 3rd floor of the Aupark shopping mall is closed - the Circus Barok located on a boat on the Danube river (near Danube & Devin hotels). The Forum hotel night club is now open on weekend as a regular dance club and all the girls disapeared... If you have a limited budget I can recommend you the Ibis hotel ( a new 2/3 stars near center ), the Dukla hotel ( 3 stars located near the center ). The Kijev hotel ( 2 stars ) is a non-renovated hotel from the communist time but cheaper and located next to the city center...
