I've been lurking on this board long enough without making any contributions, and I'd like to apologize. I'm pretty far out in the sticks in Jinghong, Yunnan, and I don't make it to town too often. Also, I don't have a digital camera, so that poses a challenge for putting up my share of the crop from way down here. I keep a bare minimum of electronic equipment because it rots and corrodes pretty badly during the monsoons.

Had taken a bunch of black & whites and developed them myself, using the field expedient methods available. As a foreigner in a small city, I would not walk these into a fotomat. Next problem: How to scan & upload. Ah! A bribe to the hotel business center to look the other way fixed this.

Took three of my nurses from the county health project with me into Jinghong city for a seminar, and we put up in the swankiest place in town. I'd gotten them a separate room, to maintain propriety (or the appearances thereof).

It had not occurred to me that this was in fact the ladies' first encounter with indoor plumbing and airconditioning. A quick stop to pick up mail at the regional project office turned up a package from my sister with all of the Victoria's Secret naughty underthings I'd ordered as gifts for Dai New Years presents. (My sister's at Berkley, and she always wanted a little brother who was gay, so thinking they were for me, she went out of her way when shopping).

After a decent meal downstairs, everybody went up to rooms to wash off road dust from the 18-hour trip by foot, mule, boat, and truck. I thoughtfully had the porter put the boxes with the lacy bits on the girls' beds.

I was in the shower myself (first hot one since October) when I got a knock on the door. With shampoo in my eyes I opened the door and was immediately tackled by all three of my randy hilltribe colleagues, giddy as young colts, no less.

Luckily nobody but us was speaking Dai, as I was threatening Naang Noom and Naang Hsaeng Kham with all matter of retribution just as they managed to my "Hseong Li" out of confinement. In less time than it takes to tell the story, I had a most satisfying and messy organism.

Now back to the sticks. We've all agreed that what happens on TDY stays on TDY.

I agree with Cronin,What does this have to do with the Photo gallery?.To end your story,After all the fuss,A minor fall guy,the Hotel Manager was jailed for 5 years,While the owners who are well connected with the party got off scott free,My partner in Zhuhai is a part owner of that hotel and can confirm everything is back to normal.They are more careful now and only handle TAIWANESE Sex tours now at the hotel.I am personally sending 4 Filipino Chinese mongers on a sex tour of Zhuhai on Jan 24-26 and guess what hotel they are staying at???

My problem with Zhuhai is, its too easy to find sex. Kinda boring the 1 hour for 200 rmb.
