Try Queens Park Plaza across the street from the Queens Park Hotel. I don't know if you'll get a GFE or not as I've never taken a girl from there.
I do know a barfine will be involved which should cost the same as other BKK venues (Soi Cowboy or Nana). There are quite a few girls about so you should find something for takeout, plus there's plenty of oily MPs in the area.
Hotel 27 is across the street from the beer bars in a little soi and is a great place to take your selection. A room goes for 320 Baht for 24 hours and they have a/c, hot water, room service (very cheap prices), large beds, and towels and soap. I use this place many times when I take ladies that I have never taken before. It's a good idea not to take a girl to your apartment until you know her a little better. It's also a great place to use if you have a girl living with you, ecetera.
Here are a couple maps on the place.

Hello,
I am heading to Bangkok in March, will be staying in Soi 22 for a week, then tour around Thailand.
Have any fellow members any good bars in Soi22?
Any advise would be helpful.

Hi All,
Been to bangkok at the year end, well got to stay at a place called top inn
a decent place but a bit pricey about 1200 bht, went to the Y- not bar quite nearby and took a nice cutie for play. Was good in the sack.
Had a general check up at the Bumrungrad Hospital good service and reasonable
price, efficient staff too not to say cute ;-) recommendable
Have fun and be safe.
Cheers,
Boots

Great, now I'm getting PMs regarding who to vote for. What is this? The national election in Iraq?
Gentlemen, I have no interest in this stupid exercise. I think that the whole lot should go for starting this in the first place. Or they all can stay, if they can STFU.
I guess this must be a great thing for some people. Even Domino piped up coming out of his Van Winkle sleep.
Even though Havrum's tales of woes are laughable, I would prefer that over this flame war shit.
Let's start this New Year on a positive note. Bring on the FRs, the photos and the love sick tales.

Hey Guys,
Any recommendations for "upscale" clubs in BKK to pick up non-pros?
Like Brix in Singapore?
Thanks in advance

Sean,
Edge where I use my machine is not compatible with my G3 phone...Orange uses a different set up but I can only assume that different countries and companies have different protocols.
And yes its great to have a card and get on-line from where ever. Whats good with the Nokia 6680 as I have said is that I can take a call while transmitting my material as sometimes need to co-ordinate with my connection in NYC during transmission.
Cheers.

Lemme put it this way: STOP worrying about these holidays.
I've seen bars closed during elections, royal birthdays, Buddha days and what not and it never stopped me from gettin' laid.
Thailand is Thailand and there will always be women!

all these cards and g3 phones are compatible with mac and pc. you might want to check out phones and cards that are compatible with gsm's system, which is different from edge - i use it and get speeds that are comparable to adsl.[quote]
yo buzz00,
i may be mistaken, but i think we are talking about the same thing.
edge is an acronym for "enhanced data rates for gsm evolution," the two edge cards that i have been using are complient with: gprs and edge, which is gsm.
i've found that the download speeds are comparable to the adsl speeds in the bkk internet shops, the upload speeds on the other hand vary and can be a bit slower.
there are newer, more tricked out cards that have just come out like the siera wireless 775 that is gprs, edge, hsdpa (read hutch in thailand), and doubles as a wi-fi card, but i've only seen a couple of these at pantip and were about 10,000 bht. the two that i field tested are cheaper, work well and can be picked up for about $50.00 on ebay. i'm interested in these cards because i sometimes work from thailand and need more mobility than a hotel or coffee shop wi-fi. i'm sure its not for everybody, but its nice to be able to take your laptop anywhere and after the outlay for the card its cheaper than about anything else.
cheers,
sean

Posts: 42Ouch Freeler, I can’t believe you pulled the RTFF on me. I read that post before that’s how I already knew April 6th is Chakri day. Since it was asked about Mugha Bucha day I thought I would ask about Chakri day so I know what to expect when I’m there.
I stated that I read the forum last year around that time and didn’t see anything about bars being closed so I just wanted to double check.
