I can recommend Gran Estanplaza. Great service. Garota friendly and
good spacios suites with balconies at good prices.

It is located in the Berrini neighbourhood though - a bit away from the
main "monger" sites, but the Cafe Gauguin is next door.

Does anyone know if these are girl friendly? Any idea if there are any good spots to meet GDP's close to them (or in them)? Which one has the best service? Also, I would prefer not to pay a "guest fee".

i don't usually go with the independents, but I just met Sara, and she is wonderful. Sadly, I lost my camera last week in Salvador and did not get a photo, but she has a web site (www.saramineira.zip.net). Beautiful face, nice body, OUTSTANDING attitude. Prostitutes in the Brazilian city of Salvador are starting up their own radio station.

The Association of Prostitutes of Bahia state has won government permission for the project, enabling FM station Radio Zona to start broadcasting in the second half of the year, project coordinator Sandro Correia said on Thursday.

"We are not going to apologize for prostitution but we are going to struggle for the dignity of the profession," Correia told Reuters.

The aim was not to attract women to the business. The station will feature programs about the trade but will also discuss issues such as human rights, social questions, and sexual abuse, Correia said.

"The idea is that we have diverse programs that look at health issues, AIDS prevention, and racism, for example," he said.

Working girls and media professionals such as Correia will staff the station and will give prostitutes training in an alternative job. Funding will come from association funds, advertising and sponsorship.

Prostitution is widespread in Brazil, especially in Bahia state and other parts of the impoverished northeast.

International rights organizations have criticized the country as a destination for sex tourism and child prostitution.

This boite has changed its pricing structure--and is still a good value, especially compared to Bomboa. You pay for drinks individually, R$15 for sucos, R$20-35 for alcohol. The entrada is R$60, but this will pay for a cabine, so it encourages you to get a girl. On a recent Monday night, many girls were asking for R$200 and accepting R$150 for the hour in the room. Live band -- very good music, mostly rock e roll. Food buffet was included (about 6pm it was put out) Sauna and steam room were R$15 extra--some customers were in robes in the bar. Girls were very friendly, simpatica, not agressive, alot of girl next door types. I spent R$249 for the night compared to usually close to R$400 at the now out of my price range Bomboa. And Coniff is in the same neighborhood--just on the southwest corner of the Sao Paulo cemetery in Pineiros.

With a 4 hour layover at Guarulias airport, where is the best place to find some quick action in the late afternoon. I am trying to determine whether or not it is worth pursuing.

Is there any lunch time action worth pursuing? If so, I would appreciate any suggestions / reccommendations. Motels, clubs, boites, gatinhas, etc.

May I ask what you know about this club? From the description on their webpage, it seems that this is a strip club - like a strip club in the US where you pay for lapdances. That is quite different from Bahamas - isn't it?

As I see on their website, it's "officially" declared as a strip club. But since we're on Brazil, it will surely be directed also for escort sexual services.

Anyway, it seems they will be the best club for lap dancing, because we don't have great strip clubs in São Paulo.

If it were me, I would walk up to a taxi driver that looks on the ball and ask what is close by that is "first class", open and very close. I have had great luck getting restaurants and other good locations this way. If you are not shy, ask the group of cabbies and see what you get. You can limit it to "no mas de cinco minutos de aqui" (sp)


One time in Ft. Lauderdale, the taxi drove me out of the airport, straight across the street and into the driveway of a stand alone business with no sign. 1 min from airport good quality and price. FTL was small time then but much better than today.

If you are not sure, have the taxi wait while you check the place out or ask him in with you then pay him; or pay him to wait for you at the restaurant across the street or next door.
