Completely unrelated side note: Twice lately, I've been in Itaewon on dates with Koreans, and both times towards the end of the night I thought to myself, "I'd like to walk around with this girl, found a quiet park or walking area, make out with her, and then call it a night." Btw the Coex and Grand Intercont Hotel is the Oakwood Premier Hotel (next to Express terminal)....directly across the street you should see several double barbarshop polls...these should be BBS.

I've been to Fox as well. Fox was very expensive, although Fox had no staff who know me from Bukchang-dong so I'm sure they had me pegged as a mark. My preferred Kangnam room salon has to be "Chowoni-Jip" or "House on the Prairie". Good price and great service. But the staff there all know me from Bukchang-dong -- when I walk in the lobby it's the "Norm!" treatment. Apparently this is where the now-closed Playboy Club moved.

Anyway, Bukchang-dong remains superior in my opinion. The Seoul Club and Buckingham are recommended. Lately though I've been missing the "Round 2" I used to get in Bukchang-dong, and have been wondering about trying a "Round 2" club in Jangan-dong. The tabloid newspapers report very favorably on that district.

In that same neighborhood, you should try checking out Fox instead. They had a decent lineup when I went last Saturday and expect a Buk-Chang-Dong ending - something I'm sure you're very familiar with. Prices are reasonable given that you know the right waiters.

yesterday i met up with our friend asia traveler 2 to introduce him to the room salons of seoul, and visited the well-known "good day" room salon near seollung station. pretty lackluster. i feel like i let the guy down.

It's hard to exactly pinpoint that time frame, but I would have to say after midnight, pushing towards 1-3 am, when drunk men frolic the streets looking for meat.

At least in the case of MPs (at least in Kangnam), 1-3am guarantees at least a 1 hour wait excluding Sundays. As for the more well known parlours, a weekday visit after work can be an excruciating 2-3 hour wait.
