Remember, it only takes one or two incidents like that and San Diego girls will stop coming to the Mansion.

In the early days of the Mansion, some guy wrote about trying to make a deal with two freelancers, but they weren't prepared to come back to a private home. But they changed their minds because one of the other girls said "don't worry, at the Mansion you'll be treated well".

If bad reports start filtering out, you can expect the opposite effect. Girls will tell other girls not to go there.

There will always be new regular girls who aren't networked that would accept an invitation to come and party. However, groups of working girls like at the puterias do not take that long to catch on. They have to take precautions towards their wellbeing, and they do talk to each other.

I knew this would happen once I saw the post about threats. It's funny, Cubanut instigates the whole thing, posts something to be mis-interpreted and then starts whining about being threaten when it really was his mis-interpretation of what Kicker PM'ed him. LOL

Having a separate thread is proabably better because now, any one with a negative experiences with Greg can openly post and not be afraid of attacks.

Like someone else posted, "Where there is smoke, there is fire". It's not all roses at the Mansion as Cubanut would make you believe with all his posts.

These experiences needed to come out. I'm sure it will even benefit those who chose to stay at Greg's place. Because, he will I'm sure start watching his actions a little closer. Who knows.

My thing is this. I havent stayed at the mansion but with all the drama who would even want to. Its just to much drama for any type of traveler.

Its like why take the chance of ruining your trip. Who wants to walk on pins and neddle for vacation. Plus imagine if the police did get involved. I am sure that the colombian police would love and I mean love to arrest an american sex tourist for assaulting a women. It just takes one call from a chick who is banging one of these cops and the fun ends real quick. Belive me I have seen this happen more then 5 times in Brazil.

Guys smacks *****, ***** plants drugs in guys room, girl call cops, cops arrest guy not only for assault but drugs and guy ends up paying $5000 to get his ass out of a brazilian jail.

To risky for the type of recreation that most of us are partaking in.

This is why I will never visit the Mansion, despite the very hot chicas and nice amenities and despite Cubanuts postings, the pictures he post from the mansion are off the charts. Outstanding work

My friend stayed at the mansion late September, was quoted and booked for one price, and then had to pay a higher rate upon departure. That is not right.

And then for the owner Aussie Greg to attack anyone whom has desent about the mansion, speaks volumes. Some day I am afraid this guy is going to end up pissing off the wrong guy, and end up badly hurt or worse. It is too bad, because looking at the pictures of the mansion, they have a real nice place there. I do not think though it is correct to accuse Aussie Greg of throwing women down stairs, "did you see him do it"? Either way, it makes me think that it would not be worth the hassle to stay at the mansion in the future.

Too bad too, because on Monday I rooted hard for the socceroos to beat the flopping Italians and they got screwed by FIFA

This is also why I will never stay at the Del Rey in San Jose. The owner John, is a first class asshole, who does not care about the welfare of his guests, only driven by money. John is also snooping around in Cartagena, and if a Del rey type of place opens in CTG, CTG is finished. It will go to the abyss.

In addition, I'm available to answer any and all questions should someone be interested in my previous posts or an ALTERNATIVE places to stay while in Medellin.

The Mansion in my opinion is not the "end all" place to stay while in Medellin.

I can only give my opinion on what I have experienced. While I was at the Mansion the only one who got upset about anything was me. Greg & Robert handled it with diplomacy & understanding making a fair and impartial judgement. Greg may indeed be a bit gruff but all the Aussies ive met are. Im not saying that the stuff that you have said is untrue. Greg even told me he had to throw some girl down the stairs which I felt may have been a bit excessive. But when I was there he was a great host bending over backwards to make sure my stay was as pleasent & enjoyable as possible.

Maybe next time I will chose to stay at VIP or the Holiday Inn or maybe half my time at one & half at the other for comparison & I really do not believe you are getting kickbacks from VIP. When you like or dislike a place this is the forum to say it and we can make up our own minds. But lets not get carried away and actively try to tear down what someone has put their blood, sweat and soul into building up. Id get a bit defensive to if anyone tried to do that to my business.

My stay in Medellin was one of the best experiences of my life, yet since it was my first mongering trip out of the U.S. I don't have much to go on. I met some great people Relapse, Hugh_Grant, Skydog, LaMuarta etc. and I met some boneheads. While I was at the Mansion Greg was always bringing in the most beautiful girls for parties and it takes time to be able to build the list of girls he has and can call at a the last minute. If he was that big of an Oger and they felt threatend, why in the world would they come back.

You have to admire the guy for not only standing up for women, but for being man enough to say it like it is about Aussie Greg and now Cubanut despite Aussies popularity. I know KB151, met him there at the New Years party and ran into him last month in Medellin. I can assure everyone that he is not a schill for any establishment. He is a very accommodating individual and is always willing to help someone in need.

If he is excited with something, he will promote it like crazy. As can be seen with his posts here.

It's too bad that things have gotten to this point.

I was at the Chicago Bar last month with KB and other Mongers and witnessed the comment made to KB by Aussie. Maybe Aussie was kidding, but there was no joking between them, just tension. At this point everyone decided to leave to avoid any drama and out of respect for the place.

I can only attest to this incident. I have stayed at the Mansion several times without any Drama, just an uncomfortable bed and no free beer. I was upgraded to room #6 for 1 night. I would agree that #6 is the Best room at the Mansion as others have posted.

Based on KB's last post, it appears he has said his last words on the topic and maybe we can all move-on here.

We need to get back to the main topic, MONGERING and CHICAS.
