Finally I am able to ad something interesting to this forum.

A couple of nights ago I went the Hot Girls bar, a small joint right next to the KFC on Graf Ingnatieff Street. It is vey small, much smaller than Kamasutra or Cleopatra, but the same system. The girls are alright, although no real beauties.

After I had several drinks a chick with shortish blond hair got my attention. She is maybe a 6 or 7, but has a very positive attitude and is smiling. I live and work in Sofia for couple of months already and during that time I've never visit Taboo club because my friends always fetch me down to some twopenny places.

Last night I was alone and decided to club around a little before going home. Taboo club was on my way and I get inside with some second thoughts influenced by what I've heard from my friends which was in two words – “very expensive”. Thanks God money is not an issue for me so I've made my decision quickly and walked down the marble stairs. I immediately liked the place and the service. A couple of days ago I continued my exploring trip of Sofia's offering.

First Step, Velvet. Nice facility but the best lady I ve seen was a blonde bartender who obviously is not on the menu. Regarding the take away ladies I need not see anyone interesting.

I have heard the manager at most clubs (Kama Sutra, Cleopatra..etc.) quote a price of 300 leva for 5 hours. I have not taken them up on this offer because I think it may become uncomfortable at some point dealing with a hooker for that long. If the girl is an asshole, which has happened to me, I am sure that you would tell her to leave well before the five hour period. But if she was cool it might prove fun.

I have gone to clubs thinking that I would take them up on the long time option yet since they open up at 10 and doesn't get rocking until 11:00, I feel like 5 hours is a long time at that point. I usually talk myself into just doing the girl at the club for an hour because I don't want to deal with reception at the hotel and then worry about the hooker stealing from me like what was reported in a previous post.

Anyhow, if anyone has done it I am very interested in how it turned out.

I am in Sofia for a couple of weeks and decided to check out a couple of clubs:

Kamasoutra : 5 lev to get in, coke 5 lev => total cost 10 lev; about 15 to 20 girls, a couple of hotties (tall, leggy, long dark hair). I talked to the Lady-Manager and she told me that the cost "on site" is 110 lev, not bad though I do not know who "only dance"; left after 20 minutes.

I don’t normally have time to write in forums but I’m so pissed off of what happened to me in Kama Sutra a week ago that I decided to warn as many people as possible. Obviously posting a thread here is the best I can do to ease my nerves a little.

So to the point - on my last visit in Sofia I went to Kama Sutra, a friend has told me the place is very cheap and fun so I decided to give it a try though I usually tend to visit more sophisticated venues. What a big mistake! First everything was ok, the prices were surprisingly low, the girls danced completely naked and I started thinking about taking a girl at my place for some action. After a while I made my choice – a tall, somewhat dark-skinned brunette with little breasts. I didn’t know who I need to ask what the rates are, I had great difficulties to draw the attention of the waitresses and my girl didn’t even looked at my waving. This situation started to irritate me and I thought about giving up the whole idea and going to another place where to be a costumer actually means something. Now I regret I didn’t follow my instincts and instead of leaving I waited for the waitress to come closer and literally shouted “excuse me”.

It worked just fine, she came to see what I wanted and after short negotiations I was happily arranged with my dark-skinned girl for an hour at my place. Again I had the urge to call the police but the lack of the reaction from the manager and the possibility that this story could reach my family and business associates made me give up the idea.

I hope that this accident will be lesson not only for me but to everyone who reads it!

I think we can all sympathise with your predicament and, having lived in Bulgaria, I think that you were right in not calling the police. A reputable club would have banned the girl.

However this incident only goes to impress upon all mongerers to be very careful with their valuables when there is a hooker in the room. The girl insisting that you take a shower alone should act as a warning to be careful.

Put your money, credit cards, passport etc in the room safe or at least hide them so that they cannot be found quickly

This type of thing is not restricted to Bulgaria but is common in all mongering countries, it has happened to friends of mine in Turkey as well.

Just make sure you don't care about money and you can have a good time in those places. It is ALL about the money there. Sure, it is also about the money in the other clubs (Kama Sutra, Cleopatra etc.), but you can be a bit more relaxed and make your own choices.

I can afford to have a decent time in the higher priced clubs. However, they spend most of the time in your face trying to get you to agree to pay for things. I found it VERY annoying and not relaxing which is my goal upon entering one of those places. If they would just BACK OFF, I would sit back and have a drink and check out the beautiful women and decide what I want. However, they don't leave you alone. I have not figured out their business model because it really doesn't make sense to me that you [CodeWord140] your customers off upon their arrival in a club.

I have gone into most of the above mentioned places at least once. However, each time I have been accosted by usually really attractive ladies who will sit me down and proceed to tell me the price list for champagne and the girls company. When I say that I just want to relax and decide which girl I want to spend time with, they will not stop with the hard sell, usually trying to get me to take the unnattractive girls for ridiculous prices. If they would let me breathe and buy the company of the attractive girls, I would stay. I have just gotten pissed off and left on several occasions.
