Well, well, well, it looks like the excellent reporting and photos by Tungurahua have awakened an interest in some new posters to this thread. And to think when I first posted on here in early January, it was the first post in over 2 months! It will be interesting to watch the Ecuador section over the next year or so and see how many more reports and photos are added to this thread. I'm curious to see if Quito becomes the next Medellin, but I don't believe it will, for two reasons. Let me include some posts from other members to make my points:

Think twice about going if you don't know any Spanish. It can be dangerous down there.

Although I think this statement is a bit over-the-top (perhaps Willy is just trying to scare newbies away?) he makes a good point. Quito is not "user friendly" like other mongering destinations are. There is no Medellin Mansion type of establishment in Quito. Most of the casas are spread out all over the city, and there is no Metro like in some other cities in South America (the Trolé is ok, but no substitute). The taxistas can be a hassle to deal with (just ask Tung!) although that could be said for many places in South America. And although you don't need to know Spanish, it helps greatly; most people outside of Gringolandia speak little to no English.
And one final point regarding the hygene of the cheap casas that Tung has been visiting; I may get flamed for this but here goes: I highly doubt that the average ISG member would tolerate the shithole conditions of the rooms in the casas. You really need to have a strong will (and stomach!) to get it on in some of those rooms! If you only have one week of vacation, I don't think you'd want to put up with that...

At this point I could hit VIP 3 Star but I am really not in the mood for Vivian. Home. That was a boring as fuck evening. But such are the potential downsides of exploration. Chalk up $20 in expenses for some R&D.

This is a great quote by Tung because it shows how unreliable the quality of chicas can be in Quito. Just to give an example, when I first arrived in Quito in January, Guajira had some awesome talent. Fast forward a couple months later to when Tung visited the same establishment, and he dubbed the place "The Hall of Horrors". I went back soon after that, and sure enough, the quality had taken a HUGE dive. So what's my point? The same place one member went to one week and saw all kinds of fuckable chicas, another member could go the next week and find nothing but dogs. Now, if you stay in Quito over a period of months, no problem. But if you only have a week or so to spend in Quito, like I assume the majority of posters on here do, just hope and pray you don't hit Quito on an "off" week. If you found a girl you like and want to see her again, she may not be there the next time you visit (I had this problem EVERY time I went to Guajira!) While these newly expanded compilations of Quito fuckclub information may be my sweat and tears the initial footwork to find each club is not. Thus the difference between this and previous compilations is I have credited the 'discovery' of each club to the individual who mentions it first in a post. This way when you find a great chica/fuck you can give silent thanks to that particular ISG member (name/initial post in parenthesis at the end of each club). My way of giving kudos to the explorers!

Disclaimer: prices and hours change, clubs and casas get temporarily shut down or go out of business. Casas sometimes close early if no chicos are present. Some of the day casas, though open at 11am, do not get rolling till mid afternoon (2 or 3pm) when additional chicas show up. All places charge a usually small entry fee in exchange for the usual 1 beer (or rum, etc.).

Common hours are of three types: (1) those places that open about 10-11am and close 8-9pm; (2) those places that open 5-6-7pm and close 2-3am (on Thurs-Fri-Sat); (3) and finally those places open from 11am or so to 2-3am (on Thurs-Fri-Sat). There are only two places that we know of for sure open Sunday, Club Alondras in the far north and Noches de Paris in the south.

At time of posting we have tried to make the info as relevant and helpful as possible. The higher priced places are, in most cases, much nicer environments; the lower priced places being lesser quality establishments. Contrary to chica expectations, however, their are some real value plays in the lower priced casas, providing one has the time to seek them out. If time -- and perhaps comfort or safety -- is of the essence the higher priced value plays (i.e., $15 and $20) are your best bet.

If you are too cheap to buy a city map (like I am), I found all these places by using the large city map located on the staircase of the Magic Bean restaurant (address: Foch No. 681 y Juan Leon Mera, by Av Amazonas). Have a good breakfast, map out your next couple casas (I take pictures of the map) and, above all, Happy mongering!

Note: For short term visitors, of the cheapest $7 casas I have found Touch Me and VIP 3 Star (or "Coyote Ugly") containing the best quality chicas. But like typed earlier it really does pay to shop around for those elusive value plays. Kid gloves off, these places are not for those individuals looking for the 'clean & sterile' fuck. I add Crypton's note from post 102: "The rooms in (low-end) brothels tend to be dingy -- you really need to supress any thoughts of what went on in that bed before your got there!" Personally I have been slumming it so long I don't even notice anymore.

(18) Touch Me, 10 de Agosto 4033 y Rumiipamba (11am to 9pm). Get off at Floron Trolebus stop. $7 chicas (15 mins). Beers $1.50. The doorman will ask for some identification with your first visit. Make a copy of your passport and carry it with you. He also will pat you down (he IDs and security checks everyone). After my first visit he now just waves me through without check. This place and La Fragata are run by the same people. The nightclub proper opens 5pm to 2 or 3am, but the Av Republica entrance has a small pub which opens before the nightclub. (20) Right around the corner from the Coyote Ugly bar is a hole in the wall with small sign on the outside reading "117." Proper address is 117 Pedro Bedon (0E1-29). The expensive night palaces. Buyer beware: Ezinho once stated (post152) after talking to the chicas themselves, that the girls in the day casas go to these clubs at night and charge amounts that are many times the multiple of their day price. This makes sense as most of the day casas close between 9 and 10pm. Mikebox20's example post 269 confirms this as I am very sure I saw this particular chica about 5pm one day in VIP Paradise Women. Earlier posters, however, say some of the girls work day jobs and come here to earn some quick extra cash at nights/weekends. Probably there are both types of chicas attending these places. If you have no problem paying the extra cash you decide.

Note: Both Ezinho and I think this establishment is overrated and overpriced for the quality of the chicas. But on your 'swing' by perhaps that might change. (32) Vibracion, smack in the middle of Gringolandia (Marsical Sucre). 739 Wilson between Juan Leon Mera and Amazonas. $3 entry gets 1 beer. I once negotiated $20 for 15 mins with a chica, though this price may be the exception and not the rule. Note: very nice and comfortable club but management seems to be pricing themselves out of business; as a result there are few girls present (three when I visited). Usual quote for a chica is $40. Streetgirls

(33) After a fanatical Easter cleanup by the cops the streetgirls are back. Between Amazonas and JL Mera (they may take you to a nearby Lafayette hotel, $5 room for 20 to 30 minutes). Chica price subject to negotiation. Initial quotes are usually between $20 and $40; from there it is up to your bargaining power (and the degree of your sobriety). (Jager, post8; Maltrufio, post 124)

Civid says (post 311) that additional streetgirls in the old town "congregate around Plaza Santa Domingo at the intersection of Rocafuerte and Guayaquil. There is a hotel there on the corner that the chicas take guys to." Seeing one guy get robbed in this area Civid also writes (backed up by Friky00 in post 314): "IMHO there is no need to risk this area when there are so many casas open at the same time and in safer areas." Also Pad Thai's post 90 reads: "A note about streetwalkers: I noticed a lot of SW in the old city, especially near Plaza Santo Domingo. They're skanky and fat. Don't bother. One woman yelled "quince" at me. That's $15 for a first price, which means you could get her for what, 7 or 8? Ughh. Stick to the brothels where you can easily find an 8 or a 9 for quince."

-- Scrupules at Nicolas Lopez OE3-36 y La Prensa. By address the house is occupied by a family; by website map the house is abandoned.

-- Mango's at Av Amazonas 7955 y Av La Prensa, one block from Cafe Rojo. Tried at 5pm, closed; tried at 9pm on another day, closed.

Place to look out for sometime in the future (thanks Rtrdengr, post 300): an orange and yellow exterior, club name Shiraco (or similar), one block north of Orellana on Coruna.


North Quito Value Plays ($7 to $20 casas/clubs)

If you want to head to the north of Quito first read Friky00's posts 354 and 307. Though I have been 'slumming' it in the north for weeks and had no trouble, Friky00 is a local and much more knowledgable than I regarding Quito suburbs and their degrees of safety. Friky00's map (post 354) pin-pointing 12 clubs in north Quito is very helpful. Print it off. To get comfortable take a daytime run out here to get used to the place, find the clubs, and revisit at night. Note: a taxi back to Gringolandia has never cost me more than $5 from the Club Marques de Sade (and area). Note: central Quito has more higher quality women than north Quito. There are some bargains out here but again if time is of the essence central Quito will probably be your best, safest bet.

(34) Club Marques de Sade. Official address is "Avellaneda 97 y 10 de Agosto, frente a las Bodegas de Parkenor" -- which I think is crap. A large, nice club open from 6pm to 2am. $1.50 large beers. $8 chicas. Find it at the intersection of Av. Galo Plaza Lasso and street N69, building E1-66. Yellow house, purple gate, small neon sign with name written. To get here jumped on a bus marked "Carapungo" or "Calderon" headed to the far north of Quito (buses cut right through Reina Victoria in Gringolandia; they stop running before 11pm). Heading north on one of these buses get off when you see a "Banco de Guayaquil" branch (addy Av. Galo Plaza Lasso, N69-24) on your right. Also on the right are signs for Motel Flamingos and Motel Cabanas del Norte, plus a Chevrolet Autodiesel garage. On the left is a Puma gas station. (35) Club Marques de Sade II, between M.de.Sade I and Club Alondras. Open the usual 6 or 7pm to 2am. $1.50 for a large beer. $7 chicas. (Friky00, post354)

(36) Club Alondras. Next door to Club Marques de Sade I & II. A small airplane hanger. Entry is $1.50 for a large beer, $7 chicas. About 20 to 25 chicas present. Open 10am to 2am, Wednesday to SUNDAY. (Tungurahua, post341; followed up by Friky00, post354)

(37) Divas. $3 entry for a small beer. $18 chicas. Business card says open 3pm to 3am. This club is nicer and larger than Cafe Rojo but less chicas in number and in quality (when I visited). If you walk up the Marques de Sade / Club Alondras street, towards Avenue Eloy Alfaro, you will come to a V-intersection, with one street continuing beneath a large culvert underpass (the other street joins with Eloy Alfaro). Previously there was a sign reading "Divas. 50 meters" with a picture of a woman on it; may have been torn down though. Walk some 50 to 100 meters down a poorly lit street, past two hotels (Motel Las Cabanas Del Norte and Motel Los Reales) to another V-intersection (one street being Calle L). The club is sitting in the middle of the V. (Tungurahua, post370)

(38) Cassandras. N76-120 Av Galo Plaza Lasso. $2 entry gets 1 large beer, $2 large beers thereafter. Open 7pm to 2am (or so). $10 chicas. Nice enough club. Right before you plunge into the valley below, at the top of the hill, is a green building with a high fence, a small neon sign picturing a sax and a guitar, next door to a volcanizadora garage. These two buildings are the only ones around on this stretch of turf. (Bioko, post 32; followed up by Tungurahua, post341).

(39) Mangoviche. On street E2 Bartolome Sanchez beside Motel Copacabana. $2 large beer. $10 chicas. Open 6 to 7pm. Large, clean, very nice but underutilized. Every time I hit this place it is empty; 4 girls max. (Friky00, post354)

(40-41-42-43-44) "The Alley." My term for an alleyway of 5 clubs: Sicosis, Muneia, Strip Show Club, Templar, La Mansion de Gato. Next door to N68-150 on Eloy Alfaro, company sign on building top reads 'Maquinaria Industrial Guayas.' A near cross-street is De Los Aceitunos. $1.50 large beers in all five clubs, $7 to $10 chicas. Open 7pm to 2am. Sicosis and La Mansion de Gato are the two nicer, larger clubs. The other three are basically holes in walls. (Tungurahua, post357)

(48) Desenfreno. On street De Los Aceitunos just across main avenue Eloy Alfaro. Head up a dirt road. A large neon sign has a cocktail glass in the middle. Walk through a gate then across a large yard to the building at the back. Entry is $1.50 for a large beer. $8 chicas. Opens 6pm. (Friky00, post354)

(49) Karamelo. Find building N62-103 on 6 de Decembre and the club is right around the corner, or across the street from the Rep Sol gas station. $1.50 entry for a small beer. $8 chicas. Opens at 6 pm. Friky00 writes: "really dark place run down couches, all the bouncers seems to be drug dealers, and really creepy people hang out here, girl quality is low, so don’t bother going there." and "avoid this place at all costs." I have been a couple times, found it semi-decent, three somewhat cute teens present (among others). Be warned: it is a stinky place (review is post 358). (Friky00, post354)

(50) Night Palace Bar. N63-70 on 6 de Deciembre, only two blocks up from 10 de Agosto, across from a Rep Sol gas station. $2 entry for a large beer. $8 chicas. Opens 6pm. Again Friky00 writes: "avoid this place at all costs." I went and found a somewhat cute 18 year old, Kimberly, who I have yet to fuck. (Friky00, post354)

(51) Nameless casa. One block from the 6 de Deciembre turnoff. A small sign stuck to a cement wall reading "Lubricantes Danny" marks the turnoff street. Find building N63-10 and voila -- you are here. Or head down the dark street from Karamelo. Friky00 writes: "A house with a red light, never been there, looks really seedy ... avoid this place at all costs." I went. Run down shithole with five huge -- I mean HUGE -- godzillas present. Poorly lit. Had a fireplace going. $2 entry got me a large beer. Has to be a $7 casa. Opens 6pm. (Friky00, post354)

Yet another bar not located by Friky00 or myself is: "And there is one last casa I never wasn’t able to locate which is Leg´s Bar in Arupos 55-108 and Eloy Alfaro, ad says 1 dollar a beer, and 8 dollar chicas, there seems to be a misplacing off the names in the streets, so in the map the street Eucaliptos, in the signs is also called Arupos, so this may take some time to locate." Post 62 by Bioko gives provides a copy of an ad for Legs. Addy listed is Arupos ES-108 y Eloy Alfaro. Hours 10am to 2am, Monday to Sunday. $7 fucks. Phone number 098014623.

Another addy on a street lamp right by the Club Marques de Sade. The poster read: "Night Club Cafe 28. Necesita senoritas. Excelente clientela. Buenos ingresos. Direction: Machachi. Sector San Carlos km 28. Telefs 091731933 / 092170332. Lunes a Sabado. 18:00 en adelante" (Tungurahua, post341). Again, never been here, so pricing and chica quality unknown. Just putting the info out there. Friky00 adds (post 343): "Night Club Cafe 28 is in Machachi. I dont konw this place because it is outside Quito. A 30-60 minute drive depending on the traffic. I guess this may a place for truckdrivers."


South Quito Value Plays ($7-8 casas/clubs)

Note: Friky00 cautions visiting the south of Quito; I second his advice. To paraphrase him: "the south of Quito feels like another city. It is dirtier, messier and with a higher crime rate."

The clubs in south Quito can be divided into two main streets, those along Avenida Pedro Vicente (PV) Maldonado and those along Avenida Mariscal Antonio Jose de Sucre.

(52) Noches de Paris, Avenida Pedro Vicente (PV) Maldonado 1365 y Pujilli. $2 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Opens 5-6pm. Looks like a shithole from the outside but decent inside (for a low-cost option). Located in the south of Quito take the trolebus to the last stop at the South Bus Terminal / CC Recreo shopping mall (good food court) -- buses stop running 11pm. Walk some 200 meters down PV Maldonado and keep an eye open for "1365." This place is OPEN SUNDAYS. A taxi back to Gringolandia from here is $4 -- drivers will quote you $8, $6, etc. Bargain hard. (53) Blondy Nightclub. Immediately next door to Noches de Paris. $2 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Opens 5-6pm. (Tungurahua, post380)

(54) Blondy Nightclub II. Next door (S11-608 PV Maldonado) is a third club that is separated by a sliding/locked door from Blondys I on weekends. $2 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Opens 5-6pm. (Tungurahua, post380)

(55) Mashos. S18-103 PV Maldonado (heading south get off before a power plant and a company sign reading “Tanasha,” both on the left). Small neon sign of a woman outside. Entry $1.50 for a large beer. I have not figured the pricing system of this bar yet. No rooms are on premises yet the chicas are obviously 'available' (for fucking). Somebody who speaks better Spanish than I needs to hit this place. Opens 6-7pm. (Tungurahua, post380)

(56) Condorito Bar. Just off PV Maldonado, E1-36 Avenida Simon Bolivar. It is along the edges of a large square with fountains of water and a traffic overpass. $1.25 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Opens 6pm. (Tungurahua, post380)

(57) Pilsener Bar (real name is unknown). S41-66 PV Maldonado. $1.50 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Hole in the wall type place but another option. (Tungurahua, this post)

(58) Caribes (a.k.a. "El Sol"). S46-198 PV Maldonado, across from street S46D. Neon sign portraying a girl in a cowboy hat. $1.50 entry for a large beer. $7 chicas. Opens 5-6pm. (Tungurahua, post380)

(59-60) La Luna Complex (dubbed the "Fuck Factory" by Siempre Adelante), a famous truck driver stop-in. S57-348 Avenida Pedro Vicente (PV) Maldonado, nearest number cross-street being S58, nearest name cross-street being Leonidas Dubles (some four blocks north of the club). $1 entry to both clubs gets you a small beer, $1.25 large beers thereafter. $7 chicas. Earliest I ever hit here was 2:30pm and it was already in full swing. Suspect open from 11am to 2-3am. (Siempre Adelante, post322; followed up by Tungurahua, post380)

To get here catch the trolebus on 10 de Agosto to the South Bus Terminal / CC Recreo shopping mall. Exit the bus terminal, cross the street and wait for a street bus with a small sign in the window reading "Sto Tomas (1 or 2)" and " Guamani." The bus takes about 30 minutes to reach La Luna (see times below). Siempre adds a taxi to/from here from Gringolandia is $10.

The bar towards the rear of the complex is named Son Cubano. The bar itself is a small warehouse with some twenty rooms ringing the outside, a three-pronged stage in the center of the room.

The bar next door is named Coco Bongos. Multi-levelled it has a little more character than Son Cubano, better chicas, more people activity to watch. Some twenty five rooms ring the outside the club (fuckrooms are smaller than those of Son Cubano though).

$6.50-$8 Fuckclubs along Avenida Mariscal Antonio Jose de Sucre (listed as one goes increasingly south). All the chica places along here are located between streets S17 and S25, with Club Magna being the exception at S10. For context on maps street Michelena is S11 and my favorite cross-over street (between Maldonado and Marsical) is Av. Moran Valverde at S30. To get out here I stand in front of the University (on Av. America) and catch a bus marked "Mena2." All these clubs open between 5-6pm and close 2-3am (Thurs-Fri-Sat). Even on the three prime days of Thurs-Fri-Sat these places do not get rolling until 8-9pm-plus. A taxi from Club 11-79 to Gringolandia regularly costs me $4. I once taxied from Club 11-79 to 3 Star (Coyote Ugly) for $5.

Because this area is so unexplored by members I will narrow the choices. Personally, my favorite places in terms of bar style, cleanliness and/or chica quality along this street are (in order): (1) Club 11-79, (2) El Foco Azul, (3) Latinos, (4) Bom Bom Cito, (5) Club Sensation 1803, (6) Bielas Beer.

Here are all the places I have uncovered thus far:

Down a sidestreet of Marsical Antonio (S17), find Club 11-79 at Calle C, OE6-236, next door to a family reception hall called Daysi Recepciones. Best place I have found yet for a pussy party on this avenue. Taxi back to Gringolandia is $4 -- bargain hard. (Tungurahua, post406)

(63) Club Sensation 1803. Found at 18-03. Sign outside reads “1803 Club.” A horseshoe is pounded into the floor at the entrance. $1.50 entry for a large beer. $7 fucks. A nice club. (Tungurahua, post406)

Think twice about going if you don't know any Spanish. It can be dangerous down there.

Recently there have been people who've gone missing in different places in SA and then it was discovered later that there bank accounts were cleared out; 2 Austrians in Bolivia, a guy in Peru and an englishwoman in Ecuador. Her family set up a website for her (jennypopeappeal.org). It's pretty sad.

This is not meant to spread fear, but just keep some things in perspective.

Also, one thing to keep in mind is it can be dangerous to carry around a cash machine card with you. That's obviously what happened to these people. It's kind of considered common sense not to carry around a lot of cash with you, but most people don't make the same conclusion about a cash card. I would definitely rather have a lot of cash on me than the card. Once they have your cash, it's over and hopefully they let you go. Cash card is a different story; they can use it until they let you go.

Sorry for such a downer for my first report; I've been to Quito several times and I'll make some more posts with more light hearted stories.

I had discounted Ecuador because except for one good report it seemed hard to find out where to go and how to get there. You solved that problem big time.

WOW¡ great work, but there is no need to praise, since you are realy enjoying this. Now a quetion, is really baron de carondelet worth a second visit, since i reviewed as the worst place in Quito, i may need to correct that. And will keep looking for that hidden places near Mejia high school.

Friky00: You were dead on about the girls of Baron de Carondelet when I went to visit with one exception, petite Lorena of Columbia (picture is post 342). She was a good fuck. Did her twice. All the other chicas were exactly as you described, chain-smoking godzillas denting the couches with their huge asses. I still do not find it a security concern though. I´ve been to worse places!

I went back here just last Friday (July14) to see if she was there. She wasn't there at the time but could have showed up later in the day. I don't know.
