    My problem chica

    Hi,

I agree with Member #2128 and it is all summed up perfectly in his first paragragh below, but let me add to why I picked her, etc.

    1. Her cute natural beauty of a face
    2. Her tits
    3. She talked the talk and gave me the right vibes while she sat with me prior
    4. She agreed to everything I wanted and smiled

Note: The problem with her started when I took more than 10 minutes. She also caused drama with my good friend. I also have another new friend who said he had no problems with her.

By the way, this is the first drama problem chica experience I have had since I started going to D.R. 3.5 years ago. She didn't rip me off. Yes, it was a tiring experience, but it ended up being a freebie ;->

Don't ever let one bad experience get in the way. Try to learn from it and move full steam ahead and onto the next chica.

To Mister NYC, ZipHead and the PMs I received, thanks to all. I've got several good prospects in Sosua now. My October Bday trip cannot come soon enough. Me and my Haitiana gf will have a great time. She's such a pleaser. Cannot wait.

And Mister, I must apologize for not realizing in reading this thread your interest in the villa and apartments. As a business man myself I felt like I was asking you about your competitors. Your graciousness is appreciated.

Good travels to all and 'smoke 'em if ya' got 'em.'

    Sosua Street Workers?

Yes, the girls who work on the street and sit on the stools in the bars are "street workers" who make money by attracting gringo tourists and offering up sex for a price. There will definitely be a significant number of those among them who will try to get the most money for doing the the least "work"...and when it's over, you'll feel "ripped off". On the other hand, there will also be those memorable hotties who will do what you expect, sometimes with a flair, and you will feel quite satisfied.

Part of the fun it seems and also the risk of the monger game, IMHO, is developing a 6th sense---to sense to know which ones will "scam" you and which ones will deliver all you hope for and more...and thereby, make the trip to Sosua worthwhile. As you get better at the game, you eventually begin to pick more winners than losers! But for me, it's more about me and my game, not about the girls.

When I have a "good experience" I mark it as one for me! When I have a bad one, I mark it as "the cost of doing business" and hope that it will develop my monger "intuition" to a finer edge for the next time.

However, even experienced vets like MISTER can stumble. Maybe it was her smile, maybe the tight stomach, maybe the promise of the tetas beneath the tight tee-shirt...who knows? It's often something to do with the "little head" making the decision, instead of "the big head". Or, just maybe she was a consumate "con artist". Whatever it was, IMHO, he (or any monger) missed the "red flag" that would have told him she was trouble. I believe it is this mongering skill---of seeing the "red flags"---that needs to be developed. When you start to "sense" trouble and avoid it, that's what creates more successful P4P experiences.

As I think I said in my reports from my recent trip, I was maybe doing a little better than 50/50 when it came to winners vs. losers. However, there were more scammers/con-artists in Boca Chica than in Sosua, by far...so my overall score in Sosua might have been 3 winners to 1 loser.

In the end: Practice makes perfect, right? You can't hit a home run if you don't take the swing...

    Voramar - as ZipHead stated...

    Voramar

I stayed at the Voramar on two separate occasions.....it is a decent place, very chica friendly, about $30 a night or something close as I recall. The guys that run it (I think Dutch) are super and will help you in every way. They have a nice little bar and a simple restaurant that is very adequate.
Best advantage is they are out of the downtown area and so it is QUIET there so you can sleep when you want to. Disadvantage is the same...a short trip to downtown (only 50 cents on the motoconche) for about 3 mins. No big deal, but if you just want to stroll in the eve or go to the beach a moto is a must both ways.

I have stayed at the Europa on my last two trips and prefer that, just for proximity to the downtown and the chica bars that are literally outside the front door at Europa. At Europa it was worthwhile to ask for a room that is NOT facing the discos so you don't hear the thumping all night

If you're going to be in Sosua for a week or so, try both places out!!

    Have fun....I always do!

The Palace is dump at least I think so. Try Mister Nyc place or the Europa, and also Club Residential if you want to be in ground zero of all the action.

    FAQs

    Thanks!

Please see my response in the [CAPS] after each of your questions down below in your original quoted message...

I spent 7 yrs in Santiago as a teen until my family moved back to Canada in 1982. I suspect much has changed. Needless to say, as a teen, I was not there to hobby, but I certainly will be this time!

I have a few questions, for anyone who wishes to reply and I welcome all replies!

I am planning a trip to Sosua from 19 to 26 Aug. I spent many days on this beach from '76 to '82, before POP opened up so I expect things will be much different. There were days I was pretty much the only person on the beach!! I digress.

To keep the post relevant, my questions are:

    1) Fluency - I am still fairly fluent in Spanish, should I let on that I know the language or should I pretend not to understand so I can hear what is being said in general without their knowing? [I WOULD JUST TAKE COMMAND FROM DAY ONE WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE]

    2) Where is the best place to stay? [SOME PEOPLE RECOMMEND PLACES LIKE HOTEL EUROPA - BUT I DONT LIKE IT SINCE IT CAN GET KINDA LOUD WHEN ALL THE PEOPLE FROM NYC AND PHILLY COME IN TO VISIT FROM THURSDAYS-MONDAYS. I PREFER A MORE PRIVATE SETTING LIKE CLUB RESEDENCIAL - HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM WITH THIS PLACE IS THAT THEY HAVE A ONE GUEST PER DAY RULE AND REQUIRE ALL CHICAS TO HAVE ID - SOME CHICAS JUST DONT HAVE AN ID DUE TO MANY REASONS - ONE BEING IT IS A LONG DRAWN OUT PROCESS TO GET ONE AND MANY ARE NOT PATIENT ENOUGH TO WAIT ON LONGGG LINES - EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE 18YO+. I HELP MANAGE PRIVATE RENTAL PROPERTIES IN SOSUA LIKE APARTMENTS WITH A POOL AND JACUZZI ON SITE WITH A VERY VERY LIBERAL GUEST POLICY - NONE AT ALL - AND SOME VILLAS IN TOWN AS WELL. TAKE A LOOK AT WWW.DEALQUEST.US/RENTALS/INDEX.HTML FOR MORE DETAILS.]

    3) What sort of clothing is recommended? Typical tourist (shorts and T)? Dress up a bit to go out (ie dockers and golf shirt)? [I'D BRING A CAN OF OFF SPRAY AND USE IT WHENEVER YOU WEAR SHORTS - I NORMALLY WEAR SHORTS AND A T DURING THE DAYS AND LONG PANTS AND SOME TYPE OF BUTTON DOWN OR POLO SHIRT IN THE EVENINGS/NIGHTS - WHATEVER YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH I GUESS - ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS IS THAT YOU TAKE A SHOWER AND HAVE SOME MONEY TO SPEND ON THE CHICAS]

    4) Should I try and link up with a few other mongers to ease the learning curve? I am well versed at home but have not tried the hobby in the DR. [START A ROLL CALL ON HERE TO SEE WHO WILL ACTUALLY BE GOING - IT CAN ONLY HELP MEETING UP WITH ONE OR MORE EXPERIENCED TRAVELERS TO THE D.R.]

    5) What should I be careful of? [CHICA SCAMS - ALWAYS GO OUT WITH A CHICA THAT IS 18YO OR OLDER - DRUGS - STAY AWAY FROM THEM - DON'T USE THEM DOWN IN D.R. AND DO NOT ASK ABOUT THEM IN D.R.]

    6) How do I prevent getting ripped off (price-wise) and what are the going rates? [TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING UPFRONT BEFORE YOU AND THE CHICA LEAVE THE BAR OR THE DISCO: PRICE, WHAT YOU WANT INCLUDED LIKE HOW MANY POPS, SOME PHOTOS, VIDEOS, ETC. - SOME PEOPLE HAVE THIS RULE OF PAYING 1000-1,500 PESOS FOR SHORT TIME AND 1,500-2,000 PESOS FOR THE NIGHT AND THIS WILL GIVE YOU SOME SORT OF GUIDELINE ON PRICE, BUT IF YOU SEE A SOLID 9 OR GOD FORBID A SOLID 10 AND SHE WANTS 2,500 OR 3,000 PESOS, GO FOR IT!!!]

    7) Car rental - Recommended or stick to public transport?[DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU PLAN TO GO AND THE FREQUENCY. I LIKE PRIVATE TAXIS AND CAR RENTALS MYSELF FOR THE CONVENIENCE AND A/C. YOU MAY FIRST WANT TO LAND, CHECK IT OUT, USE TAXIS, AND THEN DECIDE ON IF YOU WANT TO RENT A CAR OR NOT. RENT FROM THE AIRPORT AND USE YOUR CREDIT CARD THAT HAS THE EXTRA CAR RENTAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE AND FOLLOW ALL THOSE GUIDELINES PROVIDED BY THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY FOR THE INSURANCE TO TAKE EFFECT]

I know much has been commented on throughout this board already, but I see there are a great variety of answers to these questions so I turn to those of you who are "experts".

Lastly, I may have my two sons with me, ages 18 and 16. I plan on staying at a "regular" place (with two separate rooms) and perhaps book a special room for myself at another chica friendly place. The two boys are pretty much independent and will do their own thing throughout the day leaving me to do my thing. Any recommendations on how to handle this? [YOU HAVE A SHORT TERM STAY HOTEL IN SOSUA CALLED CALYPSO WHICH IS LOCATED AROUND THE CORNER FROM SUPER SUPER LIQUOR STORE AND THEY CHARGE ABOUT 300 PESOS TO USE THE ROOM FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE SO WHENEVER YOU ARE OUT ON THE STROLL AND SEE SOMETHING YOU LIKE, YOU MAY JUST WANT TO USE THIS ROUTE AND THEN GO BACK TO YOUR BOYS AT THE REGULAR FAMILY ORIENTED PLACE AND HAVE A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP] I sure don¡¦t want this info getting back to the Ex or "practice wife" as I call her.

I appreciate all and any advice
    ENJOY!

Can someone post a link or tell me how I can rent an apartment in this area? It would be ridiculous for me to spend $100 a day for a hotel room. Thanks.

Mister, sounds like you had a great time

    Mister,

After reading your report I am ready for my next trip to Sousa.. So much for the talent has gone down in Sousa.. If you know your way around you can find some nice talent at bargain prices.. Thanks again for the hookup in March, with one of the ladies in the photos.
