Great intel and reporting of an area I have been thinking about going to. I get alot of interest from Bogota from Amigos.com. But none of the street/casa reports have been very enticing.

I am in Bogota as I write. I did some sight seeing and visited the Santa Fe area. I scoured the area. I met one flaquita, 19 yrs, and took her to a local ST hotel. 30k cop for her and 12k for the hotel (clean, hot showers). She was cute, but the appearant rule in the zona roja is no touch anything without plastic. No change in positions, CBJ only, infact no HJ without a condom in place. Initially she did not want to remove the blouse and bra, and then no kissing her breast! I avoided getting into a funk and finished with her quickly. She told me it was the rule through out the area. In the end she wanted 20k more because she took her top and bra off. The rest of the area was filed with some pretty rough tallant. The Piscina was open witha few girls late in the afternoon. The price is 70k for 1/2hr including the room.

Last night, (my first night), I took an extended tour of various locations. The vast majority had very poor, unenthusiastic tallant and were in effect bars bent on serving expensive drinks, not pussy. I ended up in a more classic brothel with about 5 women. I was quoted 200k for the girl, (I nearly choaked) and 88k for the room. A whisky was 20k. Wow what a bargain! I was about to leave when I saw a shy, not pretty, but not ugly dark haired girl in the corner. I changed seats and started talking to her. I asked how much she really wanted. And after a few tries she said 100k. I said ok and we headed up stairs to a relatively nice room. As I am starting to take my clothes off, in walks the owner with a lady drink asking for another 100k for the room, a lady drink and a tip for him. The show has started. I said I´m leaving, here´s 20k for my drink. He backs down, but continues to argue. I said good bye, and he accepted the original offer and left. Whew!

That was the bad. The good was she gave a really world class BBBJ, and after I explained I was sterile, I saved on an expensive lamb skin as well. Ya never know.

Over all. Bogota is interesting, but it doesn´t hold a candle to ANY place in Brazil. I´m sure if you lived here or really worked the dating websites and had non pros lined up it would be great destination. I have two more nights here, maybe I will change my mind. One other thing, the hotels charge extra for a visitation to you room. In my case ( La Boheme) its $45 US per visit. Now that is an unwelcome bite. The other hotels are similar and there are not many ST hotels.

I just got to Bogota and wanted to know any updated places to meet and pick up Chicas (either pro or nonpro) in daytime, as well as nighttime.

Anyone in BOG now? I'm here the next couple days and would love to have a drink with a fellow BOG lover.

I'm near Zona Rosa, really close, and the hotel I'm at sucks becuase it charges you for bring a chica (or any guest) into your room.

Bogota is like any big city. A little more cosmopolitan but alot of people are in a hurry. It is not target rich like Medellin, but at least there are things to do during the day.

Did the La Piscina and El Castillo thing. There were a few good looking women at La Piscina (cheaper) but more at El Castillo. The starting (asking) prices were ridiculous.

Met 'DWayne' who showed BB and I around. Thanks Dwayne! He showed us places around Parque 93 such as Juan Pablo's and "The Angels". Better looking girls. Cheaper if you just get their numbers and arrange for the next day.

When I am in Bogota, I never go out to the clubs (not so much time) so I always call agencies (Chuscas.com), I especify what I want and negotiate the price (Spanish is a must!). I have never been disapointed.

I will be in Bogota this friday, saturday and sunday morning.

I will be staying at the Windsor House Hotel. PM if interested on a beer.

Thanks for the offer, m8, I would've enjoyed meeting you. But I won't arrive at the Windsor House until Sunday evening. I'll be there Monday night too. I guess I'll just call the agencies anyway (in English) and try my luck. If anyone else has another suggestion, I'm listening.

I have been to Medellin several times but I am getting ready to move to Bogota to take Spanish classes for a few months in November. I fly out for a week this Monday to find an apartment.

My question is about the main differences between the girls in Bogota vs Medellin for people who have been to both.

I have limited Spanish speaking skills but have always had lots of luck with the nonpros in Medellin. I have heard that the Medellin girls are snobby but I haven't run into that although I know it's all relative.

Are the girls friendlier in Medellin or Bogota?

Are the girls as hot in Bogota? Is it even close?

Do girls in Bogota put out faster or slower (nonpros)? In Medellin the maximum number of dates for payday has been two but 50% gave it up on the first date.

Are the girls more used to seeing gringos in Bogota which has an adverse effect on picking them up?

I am going to post the same question in the Medellin section.

Let me when you have found an apartment, I will be your first client. But the price has to be fair. Check the classifieds in the El Tiempo from bogota, you can find hundreds of apartments for 200.00 to 300.00 per month. Evrything is cheap here for apartments. Make sure you bargain with these people, because they mark everything up at least 50 percent. Bargain with these suckkers.

Hey all,

Visiting Bogota for the 1st time next week for work (maybe a few days in Cartagena too). I'm an experienced monger in other parts of the world, but no habla Espanol. By reading your Bogota reports, it seems that without speaking Spanish, it'll be quite a challenge to manage the club and pick up scene. I can't use my work associates that I'll be meeting in Bogota, since word would get back to the home office, or worse.

So I'm thinking I'm better off just getting a girl to come to my hotel from an Escort Service. Are those services as bad (with bait & switch) as I think they'll be? And is SexyModelsColombia the only one to handle non-Spanish speaking clientele?

Your advice appreciated.

I don't want to get in an argument. I simply stand by my statement. No local would pay more than 12k an hour to hire a car, therefore neither would I. When to tip and how much is largely a personal matter, but it is not something taxistas anywhere in Latin America expect.

My philosophy is to pay what the locals pay, no more, no less. Sex in Bogota can be had from as little as 5k all the way up to a million or more per call. The former is a lot less pleasant and more risky than most of us would want, the latter is out of my price range. I'd imagine most of us are going to fall somewhere in the middle.

I pay 10,000 pesos an hour in Bogota. That is what they ask me for. Anything more is a ripoff. If you want to give more, fine. But if he asks for it, he is trying to cheat you.

12K is less than US$5.00 per hour. I'm happy to pay the girls US$6 to US$40 per hour. This is Colombia.

The taxistas are happy for the business and do not expect tips. I do tip for extra services and bag handling. One or two K is a nice tip.

Don't pay more than 12k an hour for taxis in Bogota. Anything higher than that is a ripoff.

That's 6 bucks an hour! Out of which the driver has to pay gas, and sometimes the hire of the taxi too. Could you survive on that? We're happy to pay the girls $100+/hour!

If the driver's been straight with you, why not cut him some slack and give him a decent tip. He'll be very grateful, trust me.
