About KTVs, yes most KTVs have Malay gals. Bintang Palace and DeVegas are higher end KTVs. The gals there are of course prettier and younger. However, they might not be as wild or happening in the mid range KTVs.

I don't think Bintang Palace and DeVegas have happy hour rates.

Not tried b4 cos busy till end month etc got major shit to complete. Another is Lavender MP in Bkt Tinggi, tried go in at 11pm few days ago but the ML busy. Saw few which is pretty sweet. Best part, heard they all offer FJ $100 & BJ $50.

Hope one of us members can try out and provide FR.

Just a heads up to a continuing scam going on in the Chow Kit area of KL.

Wandering around the area, approached by a tout offering massage and BJ with young girls. Tout takes you to a small shop house where you pick a girl out of a tiny room/fish bowl. She takes you to a small room that has a cubby hole for your clothes and a mattress. You strip and lie down; she doesn't strip and starts to massage your back.

Whilst you begin to enjoy, guy behind a panel reaches in and goes through the pockets of your trousers. 5 mins later, they shout that the cops are coming and to quickly get out. And they shut off the lights after you grab your clothes.

Once outside, you realize you've been scammed, but what can you do.

This happened to me on 3 Nov. 2006. I had read about it somewhere about a year ago, so was wary. Luckily, I had put half my money and wallet in my shoe and kept that away from the space for the clothes.

In other KL news, tried the Green Elephant Health Centre in Bukit Bintang, near the LRT. I visit this place everytime I get to KL. Usually a great experience. This time was just ok. I asked for a Malay girl and they kept bringing me Chinese girls thinking I couldn't tell the difference. At the moment, I'm into Malay girls so kept saying no. Finally gave up and took a girl who told me she is half-Chinese/half arabic (maybe true). She was okay once we got going; but not as good as the other girls I've had from this place.

I was at Blok M area where My Bar, Top Gun etc are, 2 weeks before Ramadan. The place is great. But my take is Jakarta is not safe to walk around at night for long distance. Anyway, taxis are abundance and quite cheap, if you insist them to use the meter, which they usually do.

I suggest you decide on which areas you want to "visit" say if you are there for 4 days you can spend 2 days at Blok M, 1 day at Kota area and 1 day at clubs, for example. Then you decide where to stay. You can take taxi to go to and back from these places. Safer and faster.

If you are interested I stayed at Golden Boutique Blok M, for 310K per night or about RM135 for its standard deluxe room. Go to the Indonesia-Hotel Info Thread to find out about this hotel. You can buy the hotel voucher once arrive at airport at either Kaha Travel Agency or Indotel. I know there are Kaha and Indotel booths at the hall where you collect check- in luggage, which by the way, is crazy.

Oh BTW, Golden Boutique Blok M is a business people hotel, smack right in the street where there are many Japanese karaoke (with sexily dressed hostesses, yum yum), Japanese restaurant (again with sexily dressed hostesses) .... It is just 100m from the infamous Maribaya Pub at 6th Floor of Melawai 1 Hotel. I did walked from Golden B to Jalan Falatehan (where all the pick up joints of Mybar etc are), it took me 20 mins.

Assume that RM410 = Rps1,000,000 so you need to find accomodation at less than Rps375,000. Check www.goindotel.com for hotels around the Kota area. Someone told me that Classic hotel rooms go around that rate but the girls there will cost you more than your hotel room. Be prepared to go further than a short walk for a lot more prospects.

The happs ppace there is My Bar of course but if you want drop dead georgeous looks(like models)or russians,its best yo stay in Alexis Hotel.The club in te hotel is fuckin happening,trust me.(but o weekends only la).If u want somethin cheapet than its Hotel Cipta where its located in the middle of the happ places,but u still need to take a cab.

Crystal and Mercury are in Petaling Jaya. Mercury is more happening than Crystal, I think. They have happy hour rates.

Places in KL would be DeSwan, D'Boss, Crown, Goldmine, Subaru, Emico and Golden Horses (both of these are closer to higher-end KTV)

Which one is the best with the most happening gals? Well, I can't really say as I only been to a few of those mentioned above. :-| I can say that my regular hangouts are DeSwan and D'Boss and I usually have a good time there.

Perhaps other bros who are more regular KTV-goers can recommend?

Near Regent there are plenty of health centres like Spa de Palace at Life Centre, Genesis at HSBC building, Federal Hotel, etc. For bring back to your room, you might want to take a walk to Beach Club and check out the freelancers there.
