Des, if you're visiting for the first time & prefer pick up from bars, do pay BATS and the bars in Blok M a visit, you can take-away girls from there. Eventhough these are "the" monger destinations in Jakarta, they will be nice to go to. .. Burgundy, the cocktail bar in the Hyatt itself, is excellent, but won't supply the same amount of action as the aforementioned, BATS and the bars in Blok M.

In the category dark & dodgy, there's alot of action to be found in short walking distance of the hotel. There's Jalan Blora, be careful, to the South and Jalan Jaksa, the backpacker area, to the north of the Hotel. The older girls I referred to, are kind of 'mamasans' - girls that hand you a business card with their phone number and have a few contacts - girls they call when you ask them.. In the early evening hours they used to be right in front of the Hotel on the corner of Thamrin, girls may vary greatly in quality, but they may have a few nice surprises in store..

thanks for the reply.. besides when you said to be Careful while walking along Jalan blora is it that bad over there? So Hyatt itself don't have that much action as BATS in Shangrila is it? Hmm. you said Blok M is it within the range of the hotel itself and what do they have around the backpacker area? Besides do you happen to know the damage for theses kind of girls? Aerage? Like fix prices or can be nego? What is the common price?

Thanks for the advice Joel Goodsen, well yes it will be my first visit thats why I don't think I know anyone or central or anything around in jakarta. Well as you were saying that the hotel itself have a bar? That can supply good service? Plus you were saying operating older girls escorts? Where will they be located? And for travelling with taxi and buses well I think I prefer just within the hotel range won't want to go far as I heard JKR is a bit messy at times. So I prefer to stick to hotel range area for fun. Fun for me specificly pick up girls bring em back and the rest you should know

REMEMBER HER?! Guess what! I go to bed every night with a print of that "oyster" photo and fall asleep with a lame right hand. So if I can be that "another guy" you will have my eternal gratitude ;-).

I will discuss the matter with her as I'm not sure if she has somebody in mind or is expecting to have a vetting round with me. If she is open to the suggestion I will certainly put your name forward. I'm suprised you still remember the oyster photo. Don't think so, unless some would volunteer to visit the disco after their working hours on the 3th floor. Some may on weekends, but I guess most would already have enough of Stadium after a day's work and would probably much rather go somewhere else for entertainment. I remember going with a 4th floor girl to the 3rd floor in the middle of night, however that was because all the 4th floor rooms were taken (week end!) and they led us to the 3rd floor which has already closed at that hour.

Beware that Stadium has suffered more than its share of police raids lately. I gave up partying in Stadium about 3 years ago, too dangerous. I once had a narrow escape, was with a girl in one of the rooms when the staff called us on the intercom to tell us to lower the sound volume in our VIP room so as not to provoke the coppers into searching the rooms.

Partying in JKT has become very hasardous unless you have solid local protections. I mean the kind of partying you and I have in mind, if your pen-name is anything to go by. I've taken my custom elsewhere, with regret for where else in the world can I find that unique combination of girls galore + you-know-what?

Thursday night last spring and the girls were very numerous sweet noobies fresh from the highlands and the place was wild like old times. Had me a threesome in the VIP room and my brains were in the heavens. Went to Bali the next day and came back the following Thursday and the place was almost empty. 1/2 the girls and they were the older, more experienced ones. Something had happened in between. Key members of the staff and many regulars were MIA. Nobody would give me the straight truth. Funny how the Thais will talk politics and badmouth anybody they want but the royalty. In Indonesia people are all afraid to talk.

thanks for the reply. i do get the impression that things have become 'hazardous' as you said but on the other hand i get the impression of a really wild scene. for starters, the concept of stadium where you get *everything* in one complex is just. insane! but i like the idea. as far as local protections, i'm working on it. i hear talk about millenium and golden crown. any idea what those places are like now?

i've partied (the way you and i have in mind) from montreal to bangkok and points between, and that combination that you are looking for. go to montreal!

the ministry of sound in bkk closed a couple of years ago because the
1-2am [CodeWord134] testing scared everybody away. in java they had a [CodeWord134] test mobile unit in broad daylight at the entrance to the highway to bandung. so if you smoke a jimbo in phnom penh the week before, you can get locked up or shaken down from being dirty in another country. can you get the same circumstances in montreal as you could get at the stadium for a whole lot more shekkles? estimated cost for a weekend clubbing in montreal?

DB, Grand Hyatt is very nice, offering one of the better resto's in Jakarta, see's, and has a great cocktail bar, Burgundy. Because of it's central location, it can't be much more central- maybe it's better if you specify what type of action you're looking for, there's much in close proximity of the hotel. If you haven't visited before, the five star bars are only short taxi rides away and the busway in front of the hotel can take you to the bars in the blok in Jakarta South or alternatively to the Kota. But I think Burgundy itself will be able to supply action, and in the early evening hours you'll find some 'escort' services. Older girls operating with a business card + hp- right on it's doorstep, corner of Thamrin. Cheers.

jkt has simply become too hot for wild partying. i've heard some scary stories, they can't be all wrong. they give you a [CodeWord109] test and put you in jail for years if you turn out positive. they don't make any difference between consumption and trafficking: if you have a single pill on you (as opposed to having it in your stomach) you're a trafficker! they like having westerners in jail because they bring money into the jail system.

i remember doing 8 girls on saturday nights in stadium, plus 300mg viagra. the mamasans cheered when they saw me. i remember once running out of cash: i left the girl in the vip room not to lose the room (saturday=full!) and ran to my hotel to tank up with cash, then back to the room where my girl bided her time. i guess i became a household name in stadium 4th floor.

discos are wild, best dope is probably millenium, but it has no rooms. you have to go out to fuck, and there the cops may be waiting. that's why stadium was so great, it was a package. lately i partied in my hotel room, complete with music, up to 5 girls and a handful of pink, green, blue and red ones. now i've given up that as well, too damned dangerous. even the sales of rave music (indonesian "musik tripping") have plummeted. it's a sign.
