Basically, if she is in Manila, she needs to appear at the Department of Foreign Affairs main office at Roxas Blvd corner Libertad, Pasay City and present
(a) A completed passport application form (attached)
(b) Her official birth certificate
(c) Three copies of a passport photo
(d) A P500 fee
The process is similar in other areas. Just read the instructions. It will probably take them a few weeks to prepare a passport.

Posts: 3282In Philippines it takes a minimal of two weeks to get a Passport. The girl needs a birth certificate and also Baptismal certificate and a permanent address so that the police can verify. Ofcourse if she knows some influencial person can be done faster.

Cebu Local,
How difficult is it for a Native to obtain an International Passport?
What would she require, and how much would it cost?
Where would she apply for one? This girl is in Zamboanga city. Thanks again, Peter.

You could use Continental Airlines,Manila-LA-Houston- Columbia,But She will need a US transit Visa.So If it looks like She cannot get one,You Can Try Accesing Latin America using other Carriers,Like MAS go Manila-KL-Buenos Aires-connect to Columbia.Good luck.Budget about 1,200-1,400 Dollars since this is a longer way Cheers

Posts: 383Bringing a girl from the Philippines to Colombia South America
A very close friend of mine wants to bring his Philippine girlfriend to Colombia, however we have no idea how to go about doing this.
Since there are many seasoned travelers here. I thought perhaps someone here could give us an idea of what steps to take, costs etc.
Any serious input would be much appreciated.

This from the national news which is reporting the summit is moved to january of 07 due to impending typhoons.
Might be a good time to see if you can get room at a bargain.
