    Roof Garden Inn

RGI doesnt have a pool, nice little hotel, internet near the lobby was 2bhat a minute & i had2 or 3 guests during my 2 night stay there 5 weeks ago & no extra charges on my bill

    ?

Does the roof garden inn have a pool?

    Roof Garden Inn

RGI does not have a charge for in room DSL any longer BUT they do have a joiner fee for the 3rd girl in your room.

I listed places in an earlier post of places. They all offered me decent discounts for a month long stay.

Mr. Chan (next door to RGI) for example will charge plus minus $250/300 for the period. They usually ask for payment on a weekly basis when discounting.

    Cheers.

    LK Mansion- What's it like?

The LK Mansion shows much lower prices than the other LK listings and the website shows very nice looking rooms but some comments have been negative.

The location seems pretty central too. Any comments on what the downside / problems of this place are - especially for month long stays?

roof garden inn - but if you buy a wireless card it's better and cheaper elsewhere (RG charges 200B/day)

Not sure who's confused here! There's a Fields Avenue in Angeles City, Phils I believe. But I suspect you need to do a search of this thread for hotels near Walking Street.

?? and quiet is a problem - WHY?? Try a street facing room in Sawasdee Mansion (soi 11 off 2nd road) - the damned NOISE from the bars across the street goes on until at least 3am (depending on who is playing) - then in OCT there was this (farang whatever) howling like a wolf until 5 or 6 (must have gone to sleep then I guess) It's FUN to sleep with earplugs.

    It was cheap - though

    Residence Garden

Ditto what Shamas said. RG is a little out of the way but the rooms are all suites. You get a separate living room, a TV in the living room, another TV in the bedroom. They have an inroom safe, a great large walk in shower, and the hotel is well managed.

You will need to use a baht bus whenever you leave the hotel. During the day that is no problem. At night you sometimes need to negotiate with a baht bus to go to the hotel. Unfortunately most taxi and baht drivers don't know where the RG is located. Get a hotel business card when checking in for the taxis/baht buses. Don't let me discourage you RG is an excellent choice and is currently my second favorite Pattaya Hotel. My first choice now is White House Condotel www.whitehousecondotel.com which is located next to Dynasty on Soi 13. They have three types of rooms, all nice. Their suites are awesome. This place is owned/managed by a Brit who takes care of his property. I love the Soi 13 location--quiet but very convenient.

Residence Garden is a very nice place and if you get a discount it's priced right. Only problem is it's not on the normal Bhat bus route late at night.

I stayed on soi 13 at the Dynesty inn a few weeks ago and feel soi 13 is a great place to stay. The Inn House Hotel seems to be the best deal going.

Soi 13 seems to be hotel central with many mid range hotels. They also have a few nice places to eat, the Haven has great breakfasts, Das Berliner Bistro has great German food and the Sportsmans Pub servers up great food all day long.

Soi 13 is a 5 minute walk to walking street, is quiet and clean. Try it, you'll like it.

    pattaya hotels

i just got back from the LOS 7 during my stay i stayed at the queen vic on soi 6(smack dab in the middle of beer bar street),a very basic, suprisingly quiet in the rooms small hotel.
It isnt a hilton, but for 500-800BT its does the job especially 4 the monger on a budget,GF & great location.
I also stayed at the nicer(1000BT) Roof Garden Inn,awesome shower, alittle out of the way from south pattaya & Jomtien Beaches & walking street, but a 5-10 minute quick bus & u r good 2 go
