The next evening I did not want to make unnecessary experiments and called L. asking whether she was back in service. I asked her to join be at the open air restaurant Zansibar at Soi 11. This is a place I can recommend, relaxed atmosphere, live music, prices on the high side but ok. The thai food is excellent, apart they also have italian and japanese food, which I have never tried. They also have a good but expensive selection of wines. L. Was only a couple of minutes late, we had an excellent dinner and took then the skytrain to the hotel as the roads were completely blocked. In the hotel I had by far the best sessions of this trip to Bangkok. During the first session I started to realize that she enjoyed it having her small breasts squeezed, I tried to reach her limits, but what I reached were my limits. Between two sessions I asked her, whether she had already mad love with a girl. With her eyes sparkling, she said yes, and that she enjoyed it especially with big breasted girls and that next time I come to Bangkok we must make a threesome. Little boss called me from Bangkok and asked me to join him in a couple of meetings over there the week before christmas. There wa nothing of importance scheduled for this week,m except the company christmas party, so I agreed to fly to Bangkok. Again they booked me business class on Thai, I can get used to that. In Bangkok airport, I went dowstairs after the exit to take a normal taxi, the lady at the counter understood that I wanted to go to Nai Lert hotel and wrote something onto a piece of paper which I handed to the driver assuming that he now knows where I want to go. This was not case, he asked me after a couple of minutes driving where I want to go and I tried to pronounce Nai Lert as thai as possible, but eve after 10 repetitions he did not understand. He produced a list of hotels where the names were written english and thai, but I did not find the Nai Lert. Somehow he understood that the hotel was in wireless road, although this road has a different name in thai. Once on wireless road it was easy to direct him to the hotel.

In the hotel, I asked for a room with garden view, which I got. After a nap, I called little boss to announce my presence and we agreed to meet in two hours for dinner. This time I used to go to the swimming pool and I was surprised how cool Bangkok can be. During dinner I got my instructions from little boss for the meetings the next days, it should not become too stressy.

After dinner I was too tired to go out so called L., a nice girl I met last time at Beergarden. She answered the handphone, seemed to remember me, told me that she would be happy to visit me but unfortunately she had her period and this would last 2 or 3 days more. I promised to call her before I would return home and went to bed alone.

The meetings next day went smooth, no extra work to be done at night. Little boss only wanted to by some sandwich for dinner so told him that I would go out on my own. Before leaving for Bangkok I studied the forum and stepped across an enthusiastic report about Cupidy massage parlour. Although I have been to Bangkok a couple of times, I never tried a massage parlour, so I thought before going to dinner I walk over to Cupidy as it is quite closed to my hotel. The distance is indeed short, but it is not at al a peasure to walk there.

At Cupidy I sat down on one of the sofas, ordered a drink and looked at the girls available. There were maybe 20 in the fishbowl and another 20 or so at the sideline. I was not impressed by the selection. I just was about to leave, when my eyes fell on one of the fishbowl girls and I changed my mind and opted for her. This was a mistake. The massage was so so, blowjob to forget about and the fucking only a little bit better ,but there was no atmosphere. From the first moment she saw me she complained that I was too big for her and so on. It was also cold in the room and after one hour or so, I told her that I would leave although I had paid for two hours, but I simply did not want more. On leaving she asked for additional money for the room and for a tip, which was refused. Walked over to Sukhumvit for dinner and decided to terminate my career as a massage parlour customer.

Next day at night I walked to the Landmark tower at Sukhumvit and sat down at the terrace for dinner. The positive aspect was the number of ladies passing by obviously on their way to work. All other aspects were not so positive, neither the quality of the food nor the waiting time impressed my positively. Nevertheless I got fed.

Decided to find out where all the ladies were heading to. No surprise, it was soi Nana. Strolled along the soi and decided to enter the first bar on the left, did not catch the name, as the ladies I spotted from outside were quite impressing. The atmosphere was relaxing, nice music, the ladies not agressive, the prices of the drinks moderate. The really nice looking girls were very young and I thought maybe I try a no so young one to avoid the experience of the other day at Cupidy. Started to talk to a rather nice looking but not so young lady from Isaan. As she was also nice, I decided to barfine her. This was a mistake. She turned out to be a cold fish in bed, she furthermore complained as well as the other girl the night before. After one session I asked her to leave.

BKK field report (cross posted for ISG members)

Arrived on a Thursday morning flight, it was a an hour and a half late (the crappy airline, Gulf Air, saving me a whopping $160 less than a real airline) proving once again, you get what you pay for. Not just late, but a dirty, old, beat up A340.

No problems in the new airport, I found the signs sufficient to find my way and the walk (stroll?) was not excessive. Immigrations and customs were a non-issue.

One thing I would mention, if you have not booked a ride to your hotel, upon emerging from baggage claim, there is a very official looking stand that is nothing more than another limo service, though they present themselves as the "official" taxi place. Ignore them, and move to your right.

My booked driver was waiting with my name creatively misspelled but recognizable.

11am traffic was not really an issue and I arrived in good time at my serviced Apt. (Royal President.)
Total time from stepping off the plane to hotel was 1:15. Not bad at all.

1st impressions are positive, looks interesting, no problems at the airport, check in at the hotel/Apt is painless and the room, while spacious and very nice at first glance, could use a little facelift, but nothing to complain about at 2200B with breakfast, email access, a newspaper, 10% F&B discount and free laundry service included.

Fast forward to the evening after a nap and shower and I am off to soi cowboy. Had a very enjoyable two or three beers at the Irish bar watching the girls arrive for work at 6pm.

Hit Long Gun and was not impressed with the attitude then migrated to Tilac. There I found my BFN (bride for the night, with a respectful nod towards CG with his wives )

Cute TG, quite nice, claimed excellent smoking skills. Off we go. BF paid, LT price accepted, we head down to the end of Cowboy and I am stopped in my tracks by the sound of "paranoid" (Black Sabbath) coming from the Country road bar. Bitchin!

We stop for a couple drinks and the band was really quite decent and playing music an old rocker like me could enjoy. Sent BFN to the band tip jar twice (to great critical acclaim from the band) and then we headed "home."

The RP (I had booked a double) offered no problems, just the quite nice guard politely asking the BFN for her ID.
Once in the room, BFN wanted dinner, and room service was up to the task.

The evening progressed acceptably, and I enjoyed what could only be described as an average session. Sadly, her smoking skills were far below what I have come to expect. The morning wake up deteriorated into a hj as her bbbj was so lame it was not worth enduring.

Oh well, she was cute, and it was only my first night in BKK. I do wonder why I am making unfavorable comparisons to the service I normally enjoy in Dubai (albeit at almost twice the price, though I don´t have to pay for a flight or hotel in DXB.)

I am left with the feeling that the "BKK magic" is not quite what it is advertised.

Is it my high expectations, or simply jaded over-preperation?

As for touts, never had a problem, either they pegged me as experienced or a hopeless case, I just do not know.

That is why I like this forum because you can really learn a lot. I personally like the darker Thais that I have seen in magazines. I didn't really see any while I was in Bangkok though. Are they racist with their own people this way or just non-Thai people?

Unforunately I have been with Isaan girls that mentioned during casual conversation that their skin was too dark. The tone making it sound like they were ashamed of it. It's sad that some of them even feel that way. I have enjoyed my time with many of the Isaan girls. They are very down to earth and easy to have a great time with.

I don't think it's a blatant thing that most visitors will notice, until you spend more time with the people. Frequent visitors will more easily pick up on it.

They do have more fair skinned beauties rather than the Isaan cuties, so if that is not your taste then you made a good choice. With this being your first adventure though, I would think you would want to try one from sample A and one from sample B just to compare! lol!

Here goes for my first report. It has been 6 months since I was last in Bangkok. On the flight back to the UK last time I made a decision that on my return I would embark on my first ever mongering experience.

Now I am not a stranger to Bangkok I have visited over 30 times on business during the last 9 years. I have been to many bars and go-go bars over the years and have learnt a few things during my experiences and from the reports I have read on this web site. However, during all that time and in the other places that I have visited I haven’t indulged in the pleasures you guys so readily discuss here, mainly because I have had a girlfriend and my conscience hasn’t allowed me to get away with it!

This time was different and I am single. I have spent many hours agonising over how, and when, and with whom. This trip was only for three days so I knew that I wasn’t going to have a lot of time to get it just right. I was staying at the Shangri-La and didn’t want to risk taking a girl back there. I thought about going for a soapie e.g. Poseidon but was unsure about whether there were any good looking girls there as many of the reports seemed contradictory. I had looked at a number of internet escort agencies but when it came to it I couldn’t be sure that what I was going to be greeted with was the same as on a website and with so little time I didn’t want to make a mistake that would cost me time. In a strange way I had a slightly romantic sense about my first time and definitely didn’t want to be haunted for the rest of my life by the face of a right old horse!

I ended up in Kings Corner which is well known for the LBs but they aren’t that difficult to spot as they usually all take the stage at the same time so that the height difference isn’t so obvious. I was only drinking cola which some of the girls found strange I think they expect all westerners to be beer monsters. Which I usually am but having witnessed a drunken friend get fleeced in Rainbow 2 a few years ago I don’t drink too much in the go-go bars and it is cheaper!

I was about to move on when a girl got on stage wearing a black bikini which was a bit strange as all the others were wearing pink! It was clear that this girls was late as she realise that she had the wrong colour on and had to go and get changed again. When she came back I found her quite attractive so invited her over. Bought the customary lady drink 145 baht (prices are going up!). Turns out that she was called Mai, 23 years old from Issan. Really nice figure spoke a little English and had a lovely smile which always does it for me. I decided that this should be the one. Paid the bar fine 500 baht. We went to play pool first as I wanted to know her a little better. Good job I don’t like to gamble as this girl would have hustled me out of a lot of cash as she thrashed me at pool!

Off to the ST hotel 400 baht. Amazing body on this girl and a great kisser. She didn’t rush me and made me feel fantastic willing to try a variety of positions. She came before I did but I wasn’t too far behind when we were going for it doggy style. We talked for a while and then she blew me for good measure. We hadn’t discussed a price beforehand and I am not a bad looking guy so I knew it wasn’t a big deal for her to go with me. Gave her 2000 baht which she seemed pleased with. I went back to my hotel for a Steak and a few beers not a bad night.

The following evening I did get to Nana but I couldn’t find another girl to measure up for my last night (fussy git aren’t I?) I will return again in the New Year and step up my activities. But I am pleased with my first experience on the whole. I have enclosed a photo of my first timer but I can’t share all the ones I have to remind me of her as I said that they wouldn’t be published!

I will be in BKK on the 25th of Jan/07 and I am planning on enjoying my time to the max. The way I look it is if an individual judges me based on my skin then they are not even worth the effort.

Many types of discrimination exist.
And Thais plus other asians equally are considered to exercise racial as well as other discriminations.
Discrimination is probably a bad habit of people to generalise and put other people into categories based on their past experiences.
Some girls refuse me because I might have too big a dick. They like small dicks. This is a sort of predudice.
Some MPs want to charge me 500 or even 1000 Baht extra, supposedly because westerners may cause the girl damage but I bet the girl doesn't get all the extra.
Thais discriminate against guys that stink or are not polite (excusable), but may generalise and say that Vietnamese are not polite, or dark skinned races smell, or Indians are stingy, etc. But I know that westerners can be in all 3 of these categories as well.
The Thai Royal Palace entrance discrimates by requiring westerners to wear shoes and socks as a sign of respect where Thais may wear just sandals. They required me to hire shoes and socks because I only wore sandals.
This is blatant racial discrimination although they cannot see it.

Although Thais complain about experiencing racial predudice, they practise it just as much as anywhere else.
Maybe I have predudices myself but I am willing to be attracted to a girl from any race, colour or culture, provided it will not endanger my life, she is pretty, has a nice body (in my prefered stereotypes), clean, smells great, and doesn't have too many culture clashes.
I have been with beautiful black girls from Dominican Republic (or similar), with a Pakistan girl, and even 2 girls with Iranian origins who were very hot and sexy. Very few indeed of these girls were a disappointment.

Go into any Thai chemist and you'll see racks of skin whitening/lightening products that Thai's who consider themselves too dark apply by the bucket load. Its something that applies not just to Thailand but also many other Asian countries.

It wasn't too long ago (before my time though!) that sun tans in the west were looked down upon as an indication that you worked outside i.e. a farmer or a labourer. Its only in the last 50 years or so(?) that getting tanned is a sign of wealth because you go on long haul holidays.

Understand that and you'll understand the way Thai's look down on people who are sun tanned. It's not so much an issue of race but more one of class.

This of course does NOT justify racism against ethnic groups in any shape or form. If any forum member experiences discrimination because of the colour of their skin please post a report and I will exercise my right to choose not to put my money in the hands of racists.

But as other forum members have said, for eveyone that says no 50 say yes.

Poor construction at Suvarnabhumi may force parts of the new airport to be shut down for repairs. This would open the way for the recently abandoned Don Muang airport to be re-opened to serve Bangkok's air traffic needs.

Deputy Transport Minister Sansern Wongcha-um said yesterday that following a recent report on the problems facing Suvarnabhumi airport, it was likely that part of the new facility would have to be closed and Don Muang airport would pick up the slack.

Board member Yodyiam Theptranont, who heads a sub-panel investigating the problems, said the repairs would take a long time. He could not give a timeframe

Haven't we had this discussion numerous times before?

While it is true that body odor is a key factor that contributes to the Thais' dislike of Arabs, Indians, Africans etc., it's not the only thing. Behavior is of course another huge factor as this group while not related ethnically has a collective habit of acting poorly in this country.

The bottom line is though that Thai women don't want to be with men of this type for the obvious common reason that they are all dark-skinned. Thais are racists. They don't like dark skin. Thais worship white skin. It has been said many times here. A Thai woman, even one paid-for loses face being seen on the street with a dark-skinned man. However, being seen with a white-skinned man, even if he's gross, fat and 100 years old is for some inexplicable reason somehow better. The exceptions are the fat freelancers around the Arab area of soi 3 and the Grace Hotel who can't get anything but "Kaek" (as the Thais say) and so obviously target this group.

Of course, because this is Bangkok and options are numerous and varied, you'll still be successful and probably have a good time, especially if you take the advice you've been given.

Just be prepared for some negative reactions and refusal in some venues and just accept it as the nature of the culture and don't get too bothered by it.

I have searched the forum, but have not seen this issue addressed. If customs would search your bags upon arrival in Bangkok and find some "toys you brought for your girlfriend" would this be a problem since these "toys" are not readily available for sale in Bangkok? I am sure this has been discussed in the forum somewhere, however if someone knows where please direct me to the proper thread or provide the latest information on this subject. Are the customs procedures about the same in the new airport as the old? Any information is appreciated, thanks.

I have taken 'vibes' of verious types into Thailand several times and have never worried. Not in commercial quantities of course.
Some girls really love them but are far too shy to buy them personally.
