I didn't know that L'uomo allowed women at all. For other places, you might check the classificados in O Globo; sometimes termas will advertise a couples night.
I'm not at all sure what you mean by a "heterosexual glory hole." Are you talking about a swingers club? If so, some of them have been listed on this thread.

Why did they bring me still water that was already opened in a bottle that had the 'with gas' label? So it was obvious that they used an old bottle and filled it with tap water.
So, if you decide to go to 81 watch out for that type of shadiness. They usually have a couple of gems there and not many people know about the place. That is why I like going. But to put everything in perspective, you can go to 81 for an hour and spend 10 to get in and 110 for an hour which adds up to 120. Or for 30 more you can go with a 4X4 stunner for 40 minutes before 5:00.Last edited by Mr Enternational; 02-28-07 at 07:02. Reason: spelling, punctuation

Posts: 1759I stayed at the Mercure Jardins in Nov. 05. It's very well located. Very close to the Renaissance, but not nearly as nice or expensive. They charged me for bringing in a chick which I think is unusual for S. P. If you've never been to SP before, you're in for a real treat. The quality/looks of chicks is the best in the world IMO.

I stayed at the Rennaissance in Jardins once. Very nice, modern hotel, which is girl friendly. They didn't even take an ID from a girl I brought back from Bomboa. I also found the concierge to be quite helpful. You might consider it.

Anyone have directions to Aquarius from the Metro? Is it located close to 4x4 and the Urugaiana station?
Thanks,

Posts: 19Sap Paulo Hotels near District Jardins??
While I know Rio very well, this will be my maiden voyage to S.P. (in March). Could any of you give me counsel on two hotels in the Jardins area? I am thinking Mercure S.P. Jardins [2 blocks off Av. Paulista at Almeda Itu 1151, at R. Augusta-Cerquera Cesar). I am reckoning this is nearby the Jardins entertainment and restaurant area? Would you know anything about Isis Sao Paulo Paulista? I cannot get a fix on it, and wonder if it is in/near Jardins district? Any other suggestions of reasonable places. GF would be helpoful, but not absolutely necessary.
Thanks all! I will be happy to share Rio advice with you. I'm in S.P. the week of 19 March amd Rio for the week of 26 Mar. Wingmen welcome!
Obrigado!

Posts: 2278little help (not helpee) please
Does anyone know in Rio where you can find heterosexual glory holes, preferably a "formal" establishment.
Also, other than L'uomo are there any termases that allow women to accompany a man? I called around and the answer was no except for VM30 which my friend did not like.
Thanks!

Posts: 712Money for nothing (but the chicks aint free!)
Over my years of traveling and mongering, I have identified three ways how so-called "sex workers" can make money:
1) Through outrageus tips, capitalizing on the prospect of sex without every delivering (to use somebody else's words, by putting on the tease): e.g., US strip bars
2) Through a cut on drinks, cashing in on the practice of overpriced "ladies drinks": lots of casas de citas, cantinas, and tables here in Mexico and in many countries in the world (hostess bars, etc.).
3) Actual sexual services.
Of course, these three methods are not mutually exclusive. Still, I have come across quite a bit of girls that actually don't want to provide any sexual services AT ALL and prefer to extract whatever they can using methods 1 and 2. I can't blame them... who wouldn't want money for nothing, or almost nothing?
One of the reasons that I like Rio so much is that the VAST majority of P4P providers there are actually willing to earn there money through honest sexual services rather than tipping and lady drink ripoffs, and that's why I am generally so hard on Carioca places that don't follow that practice (Barbarella's, Frank's, etc.)
Once you meet a provider, I simply recommend you immediately try to determine which of these three methods a girl will rely on to actually get to your money. Once you determine its No. 1 or No. 2, ditch them immediately. Especially in Rio, which is still relatively unspoilt in that respect.
It's easy: as soon as enough guys pay girls for NOTHING, they won't wanna fuck anymore.
This is actually the worst way of overpaying. Someboy slap some sense back into the guy?

The list is an excellent one, well worth printing it and systematically visting each place. Having said this, the prices on a lot of places is a little off. Use the pricing as a guide only.
Monte is R250 (40 minute session)
T65 was R235 (40 minute session)
Cent is R310 (40 minute session), R290 only for Brazilians or gringos that live their.
Solarium is R250 (40 minute session)
4x4 is R185 (40 minute session)
Again, great list, thankyou for posting your personal list of favourite places. I just added some of the price adjustments for sake of accuracy.

S.G. Nice, current rundown of the Termas. A couple of questions:
1. I didn't realize Monte Carlo was still only 200R all-in. I thought it was more like 250R, but they often have email/internet specials. Hope you're right...
2. Almost went into 81 a couple of months ago. How do you like that one compared to the others?
3. I THINK (not sure) the price you quote for Aquarius is the 60 minute price. Last month, I remember paying 110R + 10R cover for the 40-minute session. Not picking hairs, but just for even comparison sake.
