I have been a few times to the Koi restaurant in Blok M lately.- a great restaurant that offers European food at extremely reasonable prices. One of the funny things is that most clients comprise of a bule guy (or two) with his (their) Indo GF. Most of these GF are VERY good looking some stunning. The other day one was staring at me in a big way.- she was with a party of 3-4 other folks. She was a stunner. I wonder if it is possible to approach these chicks when, say, the bule boyfriend is going to the toilet or something. I guess I will have to try one day but at the same time I don't want to get into a fight. Any ideas?

I used to go to Tiga Pulu at Le Meridien last year when the place rocked. My impression of the place is that lately there's less and less action/chicks. Some of the chicks I used to meet there seems to have moved on to BATS or CJ's. Do you guys have share the same observation ? Why is Tig Pulu going down ? Am I missing something ? It is a shame really as I really like to lounge there with the TV screens, sofas, where you can chat with chicks without having to yell to be heard.

I recently went to the Zen karaoke with a client and was quite impressed by the good quality of girls there. Mine, Ika, was very nice -- massive tits and quite GFE. "My Place" is a new high-end MP, very nice, clean with excellent facilities (Jacuzzi, sauna, small gym, pool) in the Senayan area (behind Senayan City). I highly recommend it. If you go for the 3-session package (costs about 325k) you will automatically get HJ. Full Service is probably a bit hard to get in the regular rooms as these rooms are not closed (walls does not reach ceiling).

In my personal case, I guess it's all about being nice and friendly with these girls, building relationship with them over time, and not necessarily expecting the bang right here and there. I enjoy the offerings of Kartika and have done so for several years. I can say that I have never met a Cynthia there. I must ask Bu Yayuk (one of the mamasons) next time to introduce me to one of them. In Aryaduta, try to book one of the six Deluxe room on the pool level. All have a small and highly pleasant private terrace, but the most important is that they also have a DIRECT access to the swimming pool EVEN AT NIGHT, when the pool area is closed to the other guests. You see what I mean. Your girls will love that.

By the way, Tavern is a dump.

1. the hotel will be able to arrange travel but not necessarily as cheaply as you can arrange it elsewhere. As for the train, you don't really need an agent, just go to the station (which is very close) and arrange it your self - at which time you might find some urchin-like girls hanging around.

2. Forget Tavern, all you'll find is a hand full of 40 year olds who have been at it for 25 years. There isn't much really close but you need a taxi to get anywhere in Jakarta no matter where you stay. Atrium mall is near (search forum).

3. it's pretty meaningless to predict journey times - best to allow an hour to anywhere during the day, at night (late) you could get to BATS or Blok M in 15 minutes.

4. girl friendliness of the Aryaduta or anywhere else is a non-issue, at absolute worse if you did get a problem 20 - 50k would solve it

That is exactly what happened to me last time I went to Kartika. While looking at girls, one came and up to me and confidantly introduced herself to me as Cynthia. If there are more than one Cynthias there, I had Cynthia II. Despite my friendliest intentions, she was very professional and not GFE like the other Cynthia I keep reading about in this forum. Following the good pieces of advice in several past reports I decided to visit Kartika MP. I did so twice in the last 2 weeks.

The first time, after ordering a beer I talked to several girls before going upstairs and I was lucky enaugh to meet also a girl who introduced herself as Cynthia among them. About 1.55, brownish long hair, well formed, not fat, nice boobs and pretty face. I went with her upstairs and she offered a great service, incl. super GFE, as reported before on this forum.

My first venture into Jakarta will be in early May, after a long hall from HK, through the Philippines. Then on to Surabaya and Bali.

I'll be staying at the Aryaduta and am wondering about a couple of logistical questions.

1/ A reliable travel agent near the hotel for airline and train bookings (I am greatly looking forward to going to Surabaya by train)

2/ I firstly apologise for my total lack of Jakarta geography knowledge, no mater how hard you look at a map you can't really get a feel for a city until you hit the ground. From my reading of the group the Tavern at the hotel is an OK pickup point(?). What in the way of MP and other entertainment establishments are nearby?

3/ By taxi, how long should it take to get to BATS or Blok M from the hotel?

4/ Not that it’s overly important, (I may be understating this) recent information seems not to indicate the girl friendliness of the Aryaduta. My passion is for ST rather than LT but occasionally I stray.

I'm sure that with all experience on the ground that these little enquiries will be of no problem to you. I await your considered responses

Just bringing this topic over from the Photo section, I was told the Maribaya problems stem from a turf war between police and military. A General owns the LM Hotel and about a year ago a new Police Chief was appointed that had jurisdiction over the South Jakarta area. The big raid at that time which saw girls in jail for a few days was a result of the associated power struggle which no doubt was about money.

This niggle is ongoing.

No idea as to the accuracy over this but my source was a 30 year veteran of Jakarta.
