Posts: 83Anyone have a ball park estimate of how much it runs to take out a stripper from a joint like Jokers or strip bars like it?
What about a full service session with a girl from the bar section downtown, like 60?
Sorry to sound like a newbie but my experience is with MPs and I need some more info to make that change.

Mexico has taken up the U.S. three-day weekend thing. Though Wednesday the 21st was Benito Juarez’s actual birthday, they celebrated on Monday.

still packing some residual 'attitude' from my 'asians in las vegas' road trip, i figured i would hit the zona. mistake. everything was closed and it was only 8:30 their time (nice to gain an extra hour by crossing the river!). i thought it was a holiday!
dia y noche, las vegas, queens - closed. i guess monday's are too slow for them. virginia's is, of course, still closed but now with "official papers" of some sort on their doors. i think it was a constable's notice of sorts. it matters not as they said they weren't going to re-open anyway.
hollywood was open but the recent cholo atmosphere around the doors keeps me out - i must be too old for my own good.
casa colorado was open and i had planned to check it after laura's. only one gal in laura's - a slightly chubby but very, very cute, 5'6" or so, nice sized breasted miriam. she bore an uncanny facial resemblance to a girl i worked with some 20 years ago but never got to 'sample' so...
clean, very cute, great kisser and just loves to ride - like the energizer bunny. takes any position but riding seems to be her favorite. a little tummy damage from one nina but nothing obnoxious. never made it into the casa.
stumbled my way back over to ave juarez, where i found taco lucas closed. a late dinner at kentucky was more than beneficial, as i learned about the upcoming bullfight season. they also bought the store front directly behind them - used to be a seafood joint a few years back?
on a side note: i read that 3 of the uno sports books were closed down by officials. seems to be something related to the "games of skill", as they call them. i guess they mean those goofy slot machines like the ones they had in the juarez turf club before they were shuttered. story had the one on ave juarez unrep001hed but it was closed when i crossed over and i'm assuming it was due to lack of events.

They're back...!
April 22nd is the schedule for the first bullfight of this year's season - at the OLD ring on Francisco Villa.
Tickets to go on sale at Club Kentucky starting sometime next week.
This is according to 'Johnny' - a fluent English speaking bartender at that establishment - and the stack of posters he has, ready to be hung.

But it seems to me that when the buy-out story came up empty because of those lack of funds, the Policia started an increased presence. Maybe it's just me but during those few months I've seen them hitting a few clubs and shutting them down and I know I've been stopped 2 or 3 times. Prior to that and since 2002, I don't remember ever being stopped - maybe once. Now? I expect to be stopped at any time and tend to be overly aware of their whereabouts.
Bike cops all over the place and a gaggle of them hanging on a few corners on Ave Juarez - usually on the primary routes to the Zona. Whether it's connected to the original buy-out plan falling short or the often-mentioned story of increased cartel activities in Juarez, I don't know but I do know my eyes are much more active (looking for Policia) when I walk around.
A couple of after-thoughts - none of the stops ever progressed into anything more than just a thorough search and 20 questions and I haven't been there in a few weeks. Too busy preparing for a 10 day return to Las Vegas trip that started with the Stardust implosion on the 13th and continued with way too many cute & tasty Asian gals.

It also seems that since last year's big yet empty story of the bar buy-outs, it slowed quite a bit

Posts: 528Diana #1 is back at Las Vegas with no apparent baby damage - that is unless you consider a big pair of hooters that don't sag damage. I'm happy to report that her lap dancing skills are as good as ever. A couple of the other girls got into a fight, which was better than most of the dancing. Other than that, the place was pretty dead.
Dia y Noche was dead too. Daniela and Stephanie are my faves, and neither one was there. So much for my short stop in Centro.
