Is there a good salsa club apart from savage garden? I'm a senior member in a highly conservative red state and will be moving there in May.

Family is well known there so I need to be cognizant of the lookie lou situation. How bad is it at savage, the rattler, and broadway?

Damn it...to think I missed this. An extensive overview of the hotel based on 3 nights/4 days and I missed the top floor...Damn.

Hang on I do remember the receptionist pushing me a massage leaflet when I checked in, and another one slipped underneath my door the next day. But then, with ample selection available downstairs, I guess checking out a massage parlour was far from my mind...Ah well maybe next time I could squeeze in a nice soothing massage between sessions

Been awhile since I first posted a report so figured it was time to add another experience. Only had two nights in Dubai, transiting through to Moldova. This time stayed in the Holiday Inn Downtown. Nice room, large, with excellent and spacious bathroom. Cost was $125 US per night via my travel agent in late February. Biggest drawback was the construction going on with the new subway.

Like most flights, I arrived at 0-dark-30, caught a quick nap untill about 7 in the morning then walked the 4 blocks over to my old stomping grounds, the Broadway, to find a quick after breakfast short time. There were about 5 or 6 WG's in the coffee shop already, so I ordered a cup of coffee and waited to see which would come and join me first.

A nice looking, medium height, slim girl with nice eyes wandered over after a few minutes to see if I was interested. Usual small talk, she opened at 500 for ST, I told her it was too much for a Broadway girl, and offered 300. More negotiations, but I wouldnt budge over the 300, so she finally accepted. Back to the Holiday Inn, left her passport copy with reception, and up to the room. Great attitude, great sex, but small breasts. Definately need to take for LT to see how her GFE is.

Spent most of the day just wandering around City Center Deira, with a late afternoon nap. Had not been to the Cyclone in over a year, so decided to poke my toe in the waters and see what the prices were like. Door fee of course, and an amazing selection of CIS and PRC's, just as I remembered. A too expensive beer, and found just what I was in the mood for. Katerina Witt, or at least her twin sister! LT was quoted at 1200, haggled down to 1000+taxi fare, which after she made the remark "for you, 1000 is very good price". Non-resident fee I guess.

No problems at reception, up to the room, offered her something to eat from room service, which she accepted. Small talk, and a few beers from the mini-bar (Mistake! Mistake! Mistake!) and we were both relaxed and comfortable enough with each other that she gave what I can only describe as one of the best P4P experiences I have had in a long time. Sex was fabulous, massage was decent, conversations in between rounds made the night. I arranged to have her come back to the hotel the following afternoon and to stay untill I had to go to the airport.

Last night at Finnegans was a big night, including breaking up a serious fight, where my group had to escape into the nearby Indian Club, as police had been called. All due to the driver of one of my friends being caught stealing a mobile phone from a local guy who was with his group of friends. (I have to add I don't know the driver - the stupid fool - he was tagging along).

Luckily I know one of the locals in the angry group quite well (he's a pool-playing friend of mine, and a nice guy). Between the two of us, we managed to save the driver's stupid ass from being beaten black and blue by a bunch of big locals.

My friend's driver denied stealing the phone, but was caught throwing it under a car (it was later recovered by the owner). I gave the driver a severe admonishing, and told my friend never to bring him again.

As we left the Indian Mujra Club just before 3am, we passed about 30 girls leaving Amnesia - even the girls that didn't manage to pick up a customer were gorgeous. Too bad about the 200DH entry fee.

Analyzing recent reports (last one year or so) and ofcourse based on my last trip, I've noticed some interesting developments which I believe will answer atleast some basic queries of those visiting Dbx for the first time or getting in p4p for the first time.

We keep talking about the golden triangle and yet if you notice, reviews on the golden triangle are getting fewer by the day. One now hardly gets to read a report on once popular joints like cyclone (dominated 2005 and earlier), York (dominated 2005 and earlier), Rockafellas (dominated 2006) and other similar places like TGIT, Staying alive etc.

Today we have raving reviews on places like the Jules Bar, the Broadway (hyped a lot by me ), Rattlesnake and even occasional reports on Amnesia. I seriously see a bigger Dubai triangle emerging, infact Dubai itself is now a triangle with the three reference points being Deira, Bur and Sh.Zayed road. Now you would say "come on...you just described the entire Dubai" but from a punters point of view:

1. Hotels are plenty but have accommodation problem...one seriously, most of the times is dependant on which hotel will have a vacancy rather than where one would like to stay. Most common query on the forum is that "I'm staying in so and so hotel...where do I pick up girls?"

2. With traffic increasing and far flung residencies opening up even residents don't find it convenient to hit particular spots frequently.

So the bigger triangle I am referring to is as follows:

Deira:
3 corners, where ever you stay...you are always near to a popular joint
1st corner: Jules Bar in the Le-Meridian near the airport
2nd corner: Broadway near the Clock tower/Ghurair Center/City center
3rd corner: Premiere in Old Hayat

Plus a lot of small joints some discovered and others to be discovered in the middle such as the african bar I discovered in Sandras inn on Nasr Sqaure, the daytime chinese bar in the hotel next to it and the russain night club within the same hotel. Not to mention one or two reviews on the Sheraton diera bar/club.

Then comes BUR:
The 2nd point of the Bigger triangle. Bur in the bigger picture I believe is pretty small, so where ever you are...you are always close to the golden triangle. Deira had three points within it...Bur has a cluster...called yup you guessed it "the golden triangle" comprising of the three heavy weights Seaview, York and Rockafellas, with a host of others in between (RTFF for the remaining bars...reviewed to death) and ofcourse the great Cyclone which lies outside the triangle but is still convenient to reach from both Bur and Deira.

Even hotels such as the Capitol in Port Rashid which are supposed to be out of the way are actually not so far of, I checked this time around and found out that seaview is pretty close and York, Rockafellas are just 2 minutes drive away from Seaview.


The third point is Sh-Zayed Road (from the Emirates Tower onwards)
This is the newly developed area, where most of your newer, fancier hotels are. Again this is a fairly simple area as it is one long road and everything is based on it.

You have Rattlesnake in the Metropolitan Hotel (it is not that deep inside Sh-Zayed road and is relatively closer to Bur and most of the hotels). Most recent reviews are on this bar, so it is a happening place.

Then you have a very frequented GF high end hotel Fairmont. Again closer to Bur, Fairmont has a basement club for pick up (mentioned in one of the FRs), no review yet on it but we know it exists.

For dwellers further down this road near the Media city, Ibn bututa you have Amnesia near the Hard rock cafe.

So you see in Dubai, where ever you may be, there is a p4p joint near you as Dubai itself is now a one big Golden Triangle. Ofcourse, the convenience of walking down to a p4p joint is not there everywhere or the convenience of bar hopping on foot may also not be there. But then again look at what your objective is...Bar hopping as a tourist or picking up a girl.

At every bar there are good nights and then there are bad...infact I'll go further and say that it is all about timings. Punters who have walked in and then walked out have complained about quality but those who have decided to stick in one place always walked out with the girl of their choice (the bar has nothing to do with what actually happens in your bed).

IMHO, with all recent concerns of the talent thinning out due to the LE situation, I'd say hogwash!!! The trade is thriving more than ever (with inflation ofcourse but then that is true for everything including the prices of hotels), you just have more p4p venues now. The girls have now spread all over. Just look at this forum, it was mostly about York, Cyclone, TGIT, Imperial, Premiere and Seaview till 2005. 2006 saw the entry of Rockafellas as a hot joint and today we have reports coming on Jules bar, Broadway, Rattlesnake, Amnesia (sounds like Deja Vu - am I repeating here). Ofcourse most of these places existed before as well but are now getting more attention because of better and more girls, more punters and so on.

With so much to offer, I don't think anyone visiting Dubai should complain or have the concern of no convenient p4p. Even in the furthest corner, one has all the options (Amnesia is expensive but it saves on the 3 way taxi fare; one way for you to get to main action venue, return with girl is another one way and then to send the girl back is your third taxi trip fare...might make sense for LT but definitely not in ST).

If one still WANTS to play further, might I suggest Abu Dhabi. Speaking of Abu Dhabi, is it my imagination or has Abu Dhabi also seen an increase of wgs and p4p venues, I remember a couple of years ago the reports used to speak of limited venues where one had to discreetly pick up girls from the vicinity of KFC and just this week piper submitted a long list of clubs with wg options. Secondly, Bahrain has also now picked up with places like Phoenicia. So I seriously believe that the wg trade has not decreased in the area, it has just spread out. Spread out within Dubai and to other places in UAE. For those complaining and constantly asking about as to where have the wgs gone...simply explore and you'll find more than you can handle.

Damn I wish I was there right now.

on my second night, opted for Premiere again. I figured why bother with the taxi and entry fee at other clubs.

I was had promised myself (again) a goog-looking PRC this time. Got to Premiere early around 11 PM. Not busy at all, few PRCs, more CIS.
I kinda hung out at the bar.
A few CIS were circulating, including Marina (Ukraine). She had approached me on the previous day but I was after somebody else's tight ass, and had declined.
She looked quite good, at least a 7, body and face. Good English.
She was all over me (believe it or not). Not seen these aggrssive tactics from good-looking CIS in the past.

She was coaxing me to do short time for 1-2 hours, AED 500. Thining I was in no condition to go for multiple rounds, I agreed.
Then the tight-assed CIS from yesterday walked by giving me a smile.
"you know"? Yes I know her. She made a face and gragged me by the arm to the exit.

Even in good light, she looked good. Had good attitude, funny.
BBBJ, and various position, no fingers, no facial.
The service was rushed. She obviously had to get back to Premiere for the next target.
If I had been in better condition, she would have been a good one to try LT, especially becuase she was willing to try some on my vibrators!

Muchos apologies. So much to do, so little time. I hit the town running with meetings on the Wednesday when I arrived and more meetings on Thursday before I went to Shakira. I had to justify the trip somehow. . . I had no idea that you lived in close proximity to the RS. I'll have to re-read the forum. I'll PM you before I travel to DXB for Aerosmith and we've got to meet up for that beer.

Piper: I eventually realised that an easy way to get a beer was to go through the throng to the service area. That is where I met the Armenians on the second night.

I agree that, if you are based closer to town that the Rattler is out of the way. However, since I was billeted in the Shangri La Hotel for the couple of nights, it made sense to try the Rattlesnake rather than take a taxi all the way to the 'golden triangle'. If I was based nearer to town, the Rattlesnake wouldn't have been an option. I'd rather have gone to the usual haunts of Imperial Suites, York or Seaview.

With regard to entry charges, I've been charged at the Regal, Rumors, Premier, and obviously the Cyclone. I'm a visitor damnit. I should expect such bollocks. I don't like it, but it often comes with the territory. I expected it and it was my first and second visit. As I posted, being based at the Shangri La, it was a lot easier to go to the Rattlesnake than it was to go into town for Staying Alive, Rumours, York or the Seaview. I was not there for long enough to notice that the a/c was crap. Maybe this is something that you notice in the summer. Whatever. Hey, each to their own. I'm not judgmental, just posting what happened.

I agree with you that if you're based closer to the 'golden triangle', or in town, that the trip to the Metropolitan for the Rattlesnake would be too far and not worth it. I hope that next time I'm in DXB we can meet up for a drink I'll PM you before I arrive to see if we can get together.

You came into my town and did not look me up! I too was at Shakira, and at a loose end afterwards. only took 1 hour to get there and 30 minutes to get back - Piper know where I live, not far from the RS.

Not going to arosmith though but as you are in town then. We must to the proper thing and have that beer we planned ages.

Rattlesnake - Definitely a fight to the bar with very friendly African ladies.

Expatcat - one can avoid the fight to the bar by simply walking into the waiter-area - I get served immediately every time (also no crowds there).

I agree with previous posters that the band is quite reasonable.

A case of YMMV. Not bad I suppose but they do not float my boat and I do tire of them quite quickly. Coupled with entry charges, an AC that is totally inadequate, no alternatives close by if you get bored, and for me, longer taxi rides so I very seldom visit these days.

Dh40 entrance gets you one drink. Two Filipino bands, two of the singers very attractive. I will definitely return.

I was not charged the last time I was there, but we arrived early so possibly the charges kick in after a certain time. One of the male singers makes “Mr Prancy” at the Rattlesnake look positively butch. The bands were entertaining even if the style of music was not to my taste.

There was a reasonable selection of PRC and CIS and from what I saw it’s worth a visit if you are that side of the creek.

Let's just say that the good old days of DXB are over (and I don’t mean for real estate purchase).
Stayed at the Hyatt Regency. Paid a little more than should have but it all evens out if you use The Premiere night club with its no entry fee for hotel guests and the long taxi ride from another hotel to a mongering spot.

The Premiere had plenty of 7s and a few real 'A' lister CIS and PRCs.
The peculiar thing was the way in which CIS were marketing themselves. One night, I was approached by 3 good looking (not dogs) CIS and only 1 PRC. This is reverse of my previous experiences.

There were at least 2 groups of 3-4 CIS, with at least 2 good-looking ones that were actively circulating, making eye contact and approaching a few mongers and quickly walking away from some others.

One CIS caught my eye at the entrance. She looked great in her jeans and had an ass to die for! She had been talking to several mongers but after 1 hour was still there. She walked by me for the 5th time and made great eye contact and I waved her over.

After a little small talk, down to business. How much? 1500 for LT. What?
There was no negotiating! She had a take it or leave it attitude, but not in a nasty way, rather sweet and self-assured. That explained why she had not been pulled in an instant. I was somewhat relieved in a way because I really wanted her (remember, I had seen her in normal light outside). I got a sense that she has been getting this price on more than a few occasions.
I only had 2 nights in DXB and wanted to get the festivities started. Yes, the price is too high, absolutely ridiculous, but….. I wanted her! She agreed to AED 1300 until 6-7 AM.

Without too many details, the looks and body were at least 8-9. I must say that this was the tightest, smoothest body with best ass that I have seen/grabbed/massaged in Dubai.
