I remember reading on this or one of the other boards that the Tijuana policia have taken driver's licenses from guys after searching them. I figured if I'm going to lose mine to a search, let it be the old one. I never thought of how suspicious it looked. The customs guys at the U.S. entry point didn't say anything about it. I figured if they asked why I was using my expired D/L, I would just tell them my current one is in my hotel room stateside and show them my passport. But the idea of the policia suspecting something about an expired D/L is something to think about. Thanks Country John. Hope to have a beer you sometime.

Yeah, Carlos my good friend has it right. Latinos know how to talk to the girls. Americanos know how to negotiate. With negotiations, the focus is money, dollars and cents. The girls have LOTS of practice at that so they tend to be rather good at it and not focus on the sex when they feel they don't need to. The right way to go (IMHO), is the sex becomes the negotiation and the money follows.

One of my AlleyKat secrets from the old days that ALWAYS worked well: I got into saying stuff like: "OK, $50 for me to fuck you but how much for YOU to FUCK ME????" Then I'd start telling her how I want to beso her whole body, I'd nibble on her ear while give her a squeeze etc. Once you get them to loosen up a bit, to smile back, to squeeze back then things can go awfully well in the room. It works anywhere but it takes some time, takes a few bucks for drinks etc. If you like the girl then you can make it a comlete experience. They'd still go for the $50 but man, it turned me against gringas forever.

They don;t want to talk about Sports, Current Events, none of that. This is true. As much as we'd like to think that AB or most of the clubs there are fuck factories. It really still depends on the girl, yourself, and the situation. Its safe to assume that yes most girls are going to squeeze what they can out of you. But from experience, I've met a good number of girls that were cool to talk to, down to just sit with you with no pressure. and I barely even speak spanish to really strike up a detailed conversation.

I'm no Country John, but I've been going to the ZONA since 1999, with a good 50-60 trips so far. In the beginning, as a newbie, I did get a few so-so service along with the top notch services. Now adays, the last 20 visits I've been lucky to find the ones that give the best service and it actually just keeps getting better everytime. Some repeats, but mostly because of making friends with certain girls and they recommend other ones to go with. Referrals are the best. The service you get when you ask another girl who you know to refer one of their friends has been one of the best things we've learned going to AB.

On another note:
Our crew(the usual friends I go with) may not do the typical visit like most of you. We've developed the In-N-Out method to limit the time spent trying to figure out which chick to pick. One rule we stick with is: Do Not Second Guess, if you keep going back and forth with 2, 3, to even 4 or more girls, you're never going to be able to choose and the ones you want will get picked and you wont get your chance. We call it the Quick Pick. You have to make one of the fastest decisions to pick the girl. you cant dwell on numerous ones the whole night. There are so many, do one tonight, and you'll get your chance with the others another nite.

My advice is do the Swing around(going around the whole bar 1 time and check out whats around. Usually by the first swing, I've got who I want and I'm ready to go up within 5-10 minutes

Since I always seem to end up going to Tijuana alone, this board has helped me a lot. Some point to remember.

Always use a taxi once you are in Tijuana...know where you are going.

Walk directly to your destination. Do not hang around on the street.

I made the mistake of wearing shorts a couple of times...not recommended.

Most locals don't wear shorts and you want to blend in. I didn't make that mistake this trip.

Remember, no credit or debit cards, cash. I brought my old expired D/L only. I brought my passport with me but never showed it. You will need the passport starting in 2008. Why carry cards that you won't need and could be used to shake you down for money. Behave like a gentleman and you should be fine. Don't appear drunk or drink liquor on the street. The only things I would do differently from this trip. I wouldn't cross the bridge into Tijuana after dark alone. Although I did it a couple of times. Wait till the trolley comes and cross with the locals if you are by yourself. I went to McDonalds and by the time I came out the crossing was fairly quiet. I didn't even think of this as being a no no until I read it on this board. People have been robbed crossing alone I found out.

I heard some stories about Mexican cops hanging out at the border. I saw them on all 3 occasions and was not stopped. Maybe I was just lucky. I'm usually broke when I return, so they could only shake me down for a couple of bucks.

Anyway have fun guys and stay safe.

You weren't lucky, you played it smart. Not dressing like a "tourist" is the first right move. Blend in, stay low profile, be polite etc, these are the keys. Even if you are stopped by the copos, co-operate. Be happy to see them. As soon as they know you're good to go, they'll kick you loose quick smart.

I would caution anyone about presenting expired ID however. There is no risk in carrying current drivers license. If you present an expired document, that will raise suspicion. They will want to know why. You don't want to go there. You see, druggies do all kinds of things to keep from being found out and false ID is just one trick. I'm not saying the ID is "false," I am saying it is not valid because it is expired. Many cops who work the Zona are sharp enough to spot that.

Took the trolley to the border from Chula Vista about 7pm. Crossed the bridge with the locals and taxied to Adelitas. The place was crowded every nite. But a good selection of girls. After two Coronas I chose 24 yr old Ximena. She said she was only there a month. Bought her a drink made a deal for $60.00 for short time or $120.00 for long and headed upstairs. Not a newbie, so I don't require practice. I've travelled all over the world and tried different flavors. Just never been to Mehico. My concerns/questions arise from reading other posts and a few knucklehead friends of mine who have been there before.

If I make the trip, I'll definitely use my developed screening process. Just gathering info for the slaying. Not sure if you remember previous posts, but I've gotten excellent service in Europe, and South America (especially Rio). So I'm preparing for the Mexican invasion. I'll be fine.

Yes - the "squeeze test" is what I call it. No one can give you game, you need to develop it but when you got your game working, the squeeze test is what wer're all talking about and everyone has their own variation of that.

The rule of thumb is that if she's warm downstairs then she'll probably be OK upstairs and the "squeeze test" is the way to tell. the squeeze test will also tell you if she's a pass.

So develop your criteria and go squeeze a few of them. See what we mean. Develop your own standards. This mongering thing is a "practice" so get ou there and PRACTICE IT!!

Hey Donnie,

Screening girls is something that I'm also trying to get a feel for. The girls that seem to give the best service are those that "like" you. The approach that I take in CC and AB is first just "checking out the seen". I'll just sit back and wait until I make repeated eye contact with a girl; and watch her body language. I always smile back as nothing creates rapport like a smile. And most human communication is about 75% non-verbal. I usually wear shirts and pants that show off my body. Just as we're looking to bang attractive chicas; they also prefer to bang someone they're attracted to. After a girl sits down next to me, I can tell if she's excited about meeting/being in my company. The tone and pitch of her voice give it away; and her eyes as well. If her eyes are big and if she can't take her eyes off you; then she's attracted to you. She will use great care in her conversation if she likes you. I think it just takes time to develop a "nose" to distinguish the girls that you're going to get great service from and those who are phony. I guess it's not an exact science, but "some trial and error" is essential. Some money will be well-spent and some not. Thanks.

Good input - I appreciate your time and comments. I've never been down to TJ before. So as I'm planning my first trip - I'm also gearing up (getting information and preparing myself). After talking to a friend in my town who goes 1x a year - he acts like its ok for 'hit and miss'. I'm telling him - hell no - if I'm paying, I want it good. He is ok with the risk of banging a dud, getting some tang, and simply trying the next one. Perhaps its because he is in a long term relationship and doesn't get out much. So for him the shot at bangin' a few broads for a few bucks is OK. Well for me its not. I'm more selective. If I'm paying a broad to f*ck me, she better be f*cking me good. If not, she should be paying me. Hell, I meet women here all the time and after a few drinks its back to the condo. Even if it take 2 - 3 dates thats ok too. The rest is free. So I'm hoping you guys can see my point.

I know its different strokes for different folks. However, like I said, if I'm a paying customer, I EXPECT good service.

In some clubs the girls are expected by the house to sit with you and ask for drinks, specially at the 5 star tourist traps. where the girls survive among other things, from the ficha.
There are some, like where the balance of things will permit you to have a nice chat with them... although I see your defenition of a chat is more like reviewing the list of things to be and not to be done.
Girls in TJ are mercenaries and some should be good enough to fool you, or turn out to be nice and sincere, even if they sit with you for minutes or seconds.
It's a flip of a coin... you really have to be good to detect al pros and cons with only a moment glimpse.
Personally, I check them out first with other customers, how they work the customers, check their body language, their faces, reactions... this "reactions" part is key.
I've seen them act nice, all smiles with the customer, but the moment the client turns his head or she hugs him in a position he is not seeing her or looks somewhere else... THAT is the moment I want to see.
I want to see them be REAL.
Then I ask them to sit, to talk and a drink... then comes my work of molding them to my own tastes.
