We were planning on going to Sosua for a few days. We read in the forum that Voramar Hotel has a bar open 24/7 (this has been confirmed by the owner) with pretty loud Latin music, making it difficult for quests to sleep/rest. Since we wanted to go to the Voramar, could anybody help us with information on that subject?

Yes the bar from Voramar is open 24/7 and cus of this it can be sometimes really noise. The problem is, that the hotel is at the end of the world, or end of Sosua, so you need for going out or to the beach all the time a motoconcho, only the Casino is in the walking distance. Okay the Casino has a disco, as i wrote in a report before, who is open till 4 in the morning. So some guest didn't go out and stay at the bar hole night, and the more alcohol they have, to more noise you get.

I have stayed there in the past several times, and it was OK. If the owner is still the same, she is a very nice lady. Things I did not like:

No air conditioning. There are fans in the rooms but they are small and underpowered, and it can get very hot in those rooms.

Rooms are dark and although there are lights, they are dim. I found it a nuisance when I was looking for things in my suitcase or trying to read.

The pool is nice, and so is the decor of the rooms, the location is good, and I would stay there again, but only in the cooler months of the year.

Mr. E, did your friend go beyond the acquaintance stage with this girl and test her non-verbal skills? I met this same girl on the beach during the day and also saw her a few times at night at one of the clubs. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again. Many people have complained about the air conditioning in their room being on the fritz to no avail. However, my biggest gripe was the noise.

I woke up prematurely at 8 this morning, after partying and fucking all night, with the feeling that I was at a construction site. It sounded like a jackhammer was going in one of the upstairs rooms. Between the jackhammering was the sound of someone busting up tile or concrete with a hammer. In addition to that there was a guy outside of my room with a pressure washer cleaning the pool area.

About 10am I had sense enough to get up and fetch my earplugs. All the while, the young lady next to me stayed sound asleep. I finally got up at 11:30 to get one last nut in, get ready, and get to the airport. When I left for the airport at 1:15pm the construction sounds continued on without ceasation.

I think it is ridiculous for the staff of Plaza Europa to subject guests to this maltreatment. Afterall, people come there to vacation, relax, and take a load off. There should at least be some warning to guests when they make reservations or check-in of the abuse they are about to endure; especially on a Sunday morning where things around the rest of the world are usually quiet.

When we got to the crib we layed on the bed and relaxed a few minutes. Just when the laziness set in me she was ready to take a shower. I followed her to the bathroom and entered the shower after her. After we thoroughly wet ourselves with the showerhead, I took a bar of Zest soap and rubbed it all over her body, paying special attention to the breasts and nipples. Then I put the soap down and rubbed the front of my body against the front of hers so we could be jointly lathered. She continued to say how much she really liked me. The GFE had begun. I told her that I did not know the cost so I opened my hands showing the maybe 3000 pesos that I had. She selected a 50-peso bill and was on her way. I told her that I would send her an email with my info later.
