I any case, no matter what happened or not, we have to realize who we are. Either we are with the system or against it. Those being criticized are men. So are we (though not sure about you). I recently read some of That Asshole's posts. He has many good ideas. ISG reports from all over the world tell the same story of increasing prices and decreasing quality. The market is shifting in favor of women. As women earn more and more money, they expect more and more money from men, as their values remain roughly the same (they continue to regard men as a source for material wealth). In the US, this has led to a large percentage of women who choose to remain single and those who are in a relationship often leave men sexually starved. This intensifies competition for the few available females.

See this Marketwatch article from Nov 11, 2006 and note the trend. There are more than twice as many single females who buy homes as there are single males who do.

The reason why women's power is increasing is that they collaborate and work together while men senselessly compete against one another. Women's collaboration consists of capitalizing on their monopolistic powers in the sex market. They overwhelmingly agree that chastity is virtuous. They insist that sex be based on true love, and if there's any doubt would rather err on the side of avoiding sex just in case. Heaven forbid they sleep with a guy who's in it "just for the sex". Thus the demand for sex increases, allowing women to control men like puppets.

In the past, a kind of balance of power was achieved by not allowing women to work, making them financially dependent on men. If men had acted in unison, they would have bargained for greater openness towards sex for each incremental increase in women's employment, in order to maintain a balance of power. Now we're seeing our bargaining power erode.

Girls grow up seeing an insatiable demand for sex-filled media (pornography, Baywatch, MTV, and what not). Everyone else is so obsessed with sex! They want to be different. They think they're not that crazy about sex. No way! They convince themselves they're the only virgins left in the world. Boys grow up unable to get real sex and consume the cheapest substitute, usually some form of video. Girls become all the warier of this sick obsession.

This system can be viewed as essentially enslaving all men at the mercy of women. Think of it this way. If all we cared about was to produce enough food, shelter, and other necessities to live comfortably, 5% of the population working full-time would be plenty. The reason why nearly all of us work is to accumulate a little more wealth than the guy next door. It's to show that cute blonde that you have an even better lifestyle, a little higher social status, a bit more education, etc than the rest. Many of us pay for the more attractive pussy by literally spending a whole lifetime working.

What makes That Asshole stand out is not the particular solution he recommends, but the very idea of suggesting a solution in the first place. Our failure to collaborate is the result of a near total lack of passion and will. That Asshole exudes a hope and optimism that nearly everyone has already lost a long time ago as a child. It's not about being 100% factually accurate and objective, don't you see? It's about feeling the right emotions and acting on those emotions. We've been conditioned our whole lives to pit ourselves against each other and to use our emotions to try to outdo or outsmart other men. He's offering you an alternative.

To an extent it is, but it isn't set up as a place for the punters. It's a quiet place catering to couples and families, so exercise good judgment. * Sightseeing: Hopefully everyone who goes to Phnom Penh will take the time to see Tuol Sleng and the killing fields. I'the recommend paying the $5 for the guide at the killing fields since there isn't a lot of signage and you'll get more out of it. Think of it as two fewer drinks and supporting a good cause. Some of the other sites were nice to see, but nothing else is a must see.

I've visited PP a dozen times and have never been to S21 or the k-fields.

So it's strange to read here that you are 'hoping' all tourists see both of these 'sights'. I never will.

On a side note, someone reported a few weeks ago how Martini's still has the same run of girls working there with very few fresh faces appearing. This remains true.
Kind of unfortunate as you witness the degeneration of these girls' faces and bodies over time.

not true, that asshole. if that [CodeWord123] report was written by 'feminists' (and by that, i assume you mean the anti-sex work radical feminists), then it would not use the words 'sex worker' or sex work' - they use the term 'prostituted women'. they also would not subscribe to a 'rights based' approach - feminazis believe the only rights sex workers have is the 'right' to be forcibly removed from the sex industry and rehabilitated.

this report was written by ngos, including a prostitutes collective. (i also know one of the reviewers listed, personally). if they were paid any money for it, it would have been a nominal amount in the form of a grant. and usaid is not a 'feminist charitable organisation' - it is a united states government department that distributes us aid funding. it's also the american president's master plan to force countries around the world to criminalise and/or abolish prostitution (hence the 'we don't support prostitution' disclaimer at the start of a report written, in part, by prostitutes). but that's a whole other rant.

Did you notice the name of the author? It is some "Carol" , - a woman. Did you notice who it was commissioned for? For USAID, a well known feminist "charitable" (charitable??) organisation. This organisation is run by people who in fact derive their income from the "charitable work" they do. The greater the shock, the greater the donations they receive (mostly from women). Especially if the story mentions "sex, abuse, evil men, etc".

These are the same people riding around Phnom Penh in Landcruisers and Lexus 4WD trucks. They receive 5 figure salaries, in dollars. Have a look at St. 240 and around in PP.

Please, be realistic. Couldn't we write a report to prove anything we want to prove? Even the total opposite as they did? Of course it could be done. I stayed 4 days in Phnom Penh. One good thing is the cheap and good street restaurants. Second good thing is you can be there quick by airplane.

For the rest Phnom Penh was nothing for me. Hard to find nice hookers. Most are Vietnamese who think they are better then Cambodian hookers (we do blowjob Cambodian not, we have whiter skin) and a cute asks 40$ long time.

Cambodian hookers go to sleep at 10 PM. Vietnamese at 4 am! A lot of Phnom Penh hookers go work out of the city so the family does not know what they do. So best follow these nice friendly ladies to Sihanoukville (where also the temperature is much better, hotels much cheaper and finaly a lot of fierndly mamasan hookers ask only 15$).

Maybe if you are younger (max 37) and can speak local language (Khmer) then you can find a local jewel.

Along the river swetting you pay 2$ for a beer, siting at the beach in Sihanoukville you have a pint of beer for 50 dollarcents in a nice breaze.

in response to a pm about my post, some clarification:

it was a reaction to the description of the use of condoms specifically designed to inflict vaginal damage on the victim. see page 20 for descript of "tiger fur" condoms coated with sand.

in the worst case, the resulting injuries can lead to serious medical complications due to infections not to mention the accompanying pain and suffering. in the not so worse case, such an attack can prevent the sw victim from working. medical complications can result in death. not working can result in death.

the article describes a culture of [CodeWord123] and abuse of sws, which i expected to be disturbing enough. but i guess that i was taken aback by the crossing of the line from [CodeWord123] to attempted murder.

i can personalize this when i think about the contact that i have with sws. and then i think about the contact and interaction i have with the police, pimps, brothel owners, and gangsters who may be the perpetrators.

it is not news to say that the world can be a rough place. but it is still sometimes difficult for me to absorb information like this and to reconcile the depravity of it especially with my proximity to it. but i guess my problems are not so dire.
