Simmers is a very much an "off the street" open air joint, this may not be to your liking. Give Annie Oakleys pub a visit, about a ten minute ride from central Nairobi, well worth a call.
What i normally do is pay Annie Oakleys a visit just after dinner, have a few beers, watch a game of football on the telly there, jabber a bit, choose myself a honey, that is if she has not chosen me of course which normally is the case, get her down to the hotel, give her a quick one or two, see her on her way, minus any of my items.
Normally i mosey on down to Florida at about midnight which is just about the right time for the "main event" of the evenings entertainment. Florida closes at six in the morning. Enjoy!

Guys:
I'm leaving four weeks from tomorrow for Nairobi, where I haven't been in ten years. I've only got four nights before going to four weeks of enforced celibacy in Juba, Sudan, so I've got to make the most out of it. I've read the posts here, and they're quite informative, but the question I have is what specific itinerary you would recommend.
I will not have the time to cultivate any non-pros, so is it better just to head immediately to Florida, or is there a circuit I should follow as I used to do sometimes in Ghana? I think there's also a club called Simmers. Is it as good as/better than Florida? I'm especially interested in meeting some ladies from Rwanda, Barundi, Congo or any of the other French speaking countries, though this is not an essential prerequisite.
Many thanks in advance for any advice. I would be glad to return the favor if any of you ever need help in the Philippines.

The site itself is no problem. The ladies is not either a problem as long as you know what you are doing.
There are people sending money to ladies they haven't even met. I wouldn't say its necessarily a stupid thing to do - if you are rich - why not, but I don't think its a way of finding a new lady.
Today on CNN it was about a guy from Australia that went to Mali to "marry" the lady he had met on the Internet (they didn't say thru which site). Instead of being met by her family on the airport he was welcomed by a group of gangsters that kidnapped him for 12 days. The family got suspicious when he started to ask for more money and he got rescued.
There is a risk with everything, be reasonably smart and you shouldn't get in trouble.
Willyboy mentions that it would be difficult to get "non-serious" dates. I don't have any real experience myself but I have seen quit a lot of posts on ISG from guys that have used Afrointroduction and other sites to set up dates in advance, no one of them seams to have anything to complain about. (Maybe they promised things and then didn't keep them, i don't know, but it can obviously be used for just getting sex.)
If you want to find a lady for long-term relationship I guess it can work well but its more fun to go there and meet them in reality :D !

PPP - stands for Purchasing Power Parity . i.e. some economists argue that if a Big Mac costs $3.20 in NYC but $ 5.00 in Beijing , the Yuan would be fairly valued at 1.56 rather than the current 7.56 ( of course that's rubbish bcs you need a big basket of consumer goods to arrive at more realistic comps).
By the same token, if the price of pussy in Kenya is 2,000/- while you pay min $400 in NYC , the true value of the KES would be around KES 5 / $ rather than today's rate of abt 67 .
Kenya mongers : hope you all know how good you have it here!

I continue on the subject of the kenyan economy because it has an impact on the rate proposed by pro and non pro chickies. The PPP (GBP per capita) is 1200$ per year , the average Kenyan earns 100$ per month or roughly 6500 KES per month. The problem is that this average Kenyan doesn't exist, there is very rich people and very poor people. The middle class just start to appear. The unemployment rate is 40% and the population below poverty line is 50%. Kenya is richer than neighboring countries but is far away from G8-countries whose PPP is around 25000 and 35000$ per year.
