I'll be staying at Playa Mar 301 in mid-October ($80/day). Are you familiar w/that apt, Tom?

Tom, do you think my things will be safe (i'll have maid service) - laptop, ipod, camera, etc?

I'm planning to have daily maid service ($12) - to include cooking. Any idea how good/bad the cooking service is? Do I hand the maid a bunch of cash to go grocery shopping?

For those who have hobbied in more than one, please provide comparisons/insight. I'm looking for best bang for the buck! I love Colombianas and Dominicanas. Is CTG safe and are the prices good for TLN GFE? That's the determining factor.

I've been to the DR twice and to Cartagena once, and I prefer Cartagena mostly because I find the women more attractive. I found CTG to be clean and safe. However, if you go to the DR, stay at Blackbeard's near Puerta Plata. All the girls come to you and it's all VERY reasonably priced.

CARTAGENA REPORT, AUGUST 2007


I am at the end of two weeks in Cartagena. I spent a lot of my time here with a paisa (i.e. from Medellin) girlfriend and didn’t do a ton of mongering, but I did get in a few adventures before and after her visit.

I stayed in Edificio Torre Centaur o in Laguito which I found at www.cartagena apartments.com. Cost $55 per night for a nice apartment in a girlfriend friendly building overlooking the water and the constant relaxing sounds of the waves rolling in. I had a few minors issues with a weak A/C and the wireless internet not working initially, but Giovanni the manager was quick to deal with problems and in the end they never charged me a dime for the wireless. I give them a big thumbs up.

I made a visit to Hotel Dorado (on Calle San Martin, a few blocks from Hotel Caribe) in whose spa I got a really good massage from two girls at once for 50,000 COP finishing off with one of them giving me a HJ while I played with the others nice big tits. Neither was a stunner, I’d rate them a 6, one of them only a 5 to be honest, but it was still great.

Then walking out of the gym one day I saw a solid 8.5-9 walking with a friend and quickly got the impression they were working girls. Sure enough, 30 minutes later I was knocking boots with the hot one back in my apartment . Cost was 100,000 COP for short-time, and I probably could have negotiated a little less. Saw her later in LDV where she was one of the hottest there. Her name is Caroline and she has a nice tight body with large natural breasts. If ever you needed proof that God exists, just look at this girl naked! If her face was a little prettier, I would rate her a solid 10.

Visited LDV two times, showing up after 11pm and it was packed with hotties. Hordes of guys showed up around midnight, but there was still plenty of women to go around. Caroline was there and quickly came over and got friendly, but at the same time she told me she was getting over a bad cold. Bad move on her part, because beautiful as she is I didn’t want to share her illness. Instead I ended up picking a girl named ….err, don’t remember now, but she was a nice little spinner and fun to talk to, always a good sign. I negotiated 150,000 COP for her and ended up nailing her everywhere in the apartment: bedroom, bathroom, couch…. Nice thing about these little girls, and my being over 6 feet, they are very portable!!

The next night (my last night) I went back to LDV and Caroline wasn’t speaking to me. Funny how they get jealous! Anyway, met a girl named Katerin from Medellin, 19-years old, great body , beautiful face and long black hair. She was a bit on the shy side and I wasn’t sure how much connection I was feeling and started to doubt my choice. In the end I took her home anyway as I didn’t want to spend any more time searching around LDV ---- and she ended up being great ! Total GFE sex and a body even better than Caroline’s. Tight stomach, firm C cups, cute little ass.

All in all, a pretty good trip to Cartagena , although I still can’t understand why there are hardly any daytime options here, like those Medellin massage parlours I love so much. I much prefer to hit the P4P girls in the day-time to take the edge off, then chase real girls at night. I hate having to wait until after 11pm to even start looking. The local government must be resisting the day-time massage parlours/casas or I’m sure someone would have opened one a long time ago.

Another problem with Cartagena is that it is fucking hot and quite expensive for Colombia. Another note: avoid changing cash into pesos down here as you will get fucked on the rate. They were offering 1800 COP per dollar whereas I got 1950 COP per dollar from my ATM card. This amounts to a very hefty percentage, for example you would lose an additional 15,000 COP or about $7 changing a hundred dollar bill with the local exchange offices.

Cartagena is easier. Laguito is the place to be. You can walk alone at 3:00 am with no problem. There are no casas, but there are girls on the street and the beach. And LDV is located in Laguito.

Never once did I feel threatened in Cartagena. I stayed in Laguito and walked to and from Bocagrande day and night.

The taxi from airport was 14, 000 ($7), be/see the chica who met us at the airport is Colombiana (the guy told me it was $10, still not much).

HOTEL PLAYA MAR (Mery Salence's places). I totally recommend staying at Playa Mar. Mine had 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, was clean, good security, big extra living room, separate kitchen. Looks out onto the playa. Cost: $50/nt. My amigo took Mery's other place at Torre Centauro, the bldg. Next door. Same price, but no balcony, and he said it kinda sucked. BUT! NO chica fee at either place. And, it should be stated, there is no better host than Mery. She'll even give you the cel number of a great masseuse-chick (no happy ending though).

CYBER-CUPIDO, COLOMBIANCUPID, etc. Chicas. My amigo paid to fly a chica in from an outlying city (not sure why he chose to bring sand to the beach) that he had been texting AND video-chatting with. So he knew what she looked like. Cute face, sort of, but she was HUGE! Cost him $300 US for her rd-trip. We made up a story about needing to go visit some island so as to put her on a taxi back to the airport the next day on a return flight. He was miserably frustrated with that LARGE lady as I was hooking up with:

The chicas in CTG. When we got there, I went outside Playa Mar and sat out front when I saw a group of chicks right across the street at that Hotel Antlantico (or something. Which by the way, I inquired about at the front desk, 70, 000 / nt ($35 US) and no chica fee). One of the chicks immediately waived at me, she was cute, so I waived back. She blows a kiss. I motion to come over, she does. 50, 000 for a quickie upstairs. Thin, cute butt, 24. Took some photos which will be posted next week upon our return.

Later, around 11, I went to LDV by myself (as my amigo was still imprisoned in a miserably heavy situation). The women there were even hotter than all the hot chicks we had been seeing in the airport. I almost went with the 1st chick who seized me. Tight, little reddish-haired girl. But, nope, I held out. Actually, I broke away from her and went to the bathroom, so I could be alone for this hot blonde with braces and tight jeans who had been eyeing me. Well, the blonde and I end up leaving soon. I had been there all of: 30 minutes. At first she was talking 200-300K. F that. We settled for half of all that and had a great time back at Playa Mar. Very hot, 24 yrs-old. Basically, Playa Mar & LDV rule, Torre Centauro does not. There are little groups of hot chicks hanging out in front. And DON'T BRING SAND TO THE BEACH! ESPECIALLY HEAVY SAND.

Cartagena is a special place, really, it's worth the risk as little or much as exists, to be there. I've traveled much the world over, from Africa to Asia to the Americas and really this is someplace very rare.

I liked the place alot and shall return one day.
